PromoRepublic alternatives split by the reason you are leaving: quote-only pricing, running one local business, managing clients rather than locations, review deadlines and per-client roles, the reviews module, analytics and Google Business Profile, Threads and Bluesky, or social listening with a published price. RecurPost fits agencies that want published prices and a separate workspace per client. Buffer, Sendible, HeyOrca, Vista Social, Metricool, Sprout Social, and Agorapulse each cover a different one of those triggers. See the alternatives at a glance.

PromoRepublic’s pricing page no longer shows a price. PromoRepublic’s three current tiers, Build, Grow, and Enterprise, all end in a quote request. PromoRepublic states that pricing depends on the number of locations or pages you manage plus the modules you choose. PromoRepublic now describes itself as an Agentic Local Marketing Platform for multi-location brands and franchise networks. A local business or small agency that joined on an old self-serve plan sits inside a product that sells through demo calls and a 2 to 4 week implementation. PromoRepublic’s repositioning, not any single feature gap, drives most searches for PromoRepublic alternatives. The groups below sort replacements by the reason you are leaving, with cost math run in both directions and the cases where each tool loses, RecurPost included.

PromoRepublic alternatives are social media management platforms that replace some combination of PromoRepublic’s publishing, listings, review-management, and client-approval workflows. No single replacement matches PromoRepublic’s franchise-scale listings sync. The social media management tool that fits you depends on whether pricing transparency, client workspaces, review deadlines, or the reviews module is what’s actually pushing you out.

Why Small Businesses and Agencies Leave PromoRepublic

PromoRepublic built a strong local-marketing suite and then aimed it at franchise headquarters. The gaps below drive most departures.

PromoRepublic publishes no plan prices. Build, Grow, and Enterprise all route to a quote, priced by locations or pages plus modules. A buyer who wants to compare costs before a sales call cannot do it from PromoRepublic’s own site.

PromoRepublic sells through demos, not signups. PromoRepublic’s own small-business page now offers two paths at signup, Enterprise and Agency, both behind a Book Demo button. PromoRepublic runs onboarding as a 2 to 4 week implementation with a dedicated Customer Success Manager. A two-person team wants to connect accounts today.

PromoRepublic bundles franchise machinery into its tiers. Review management, brand kits, and content approval workflows sit in the base Build tier. Listings management with centralized HQ-to-location automation arrives with Grow, all of it built for a head office coordinating dozens of locations. A single-location business or a small agency pays for that machinery in the quote whether or not any client needs it.

PromoRepublic’s integrations page lists publishing to Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube plus Google Business Profile. Threads and Bluesky appear nowhere on that list, so accounts on either network need a second tool.

PromoRepublic caps the participants in one location at 5, and that cap counts every role. A PromoRepublic location owner therefore adds 4 people, and PromoRepublic customizes the cap only for white label solutions. PromoRepublic also runs each teammate as a separate standalone account on the same paid plan, activated either by inviting the teammate to a location or by submitting a request form to PromoRepublic support. PromoRepublic does not renew that teammate account automatically with the primary subscription, so an agency asks support to re-activate it.

Sources: PromoRepublic Help Center on inviting teammates and managing permissions and team member accounts. Verified September 15, 2026.

A three-person agency running eleven local clients feels most of these gaps at once. Each client runs Facebook, Instagram, and a Google Business Profile, and two clients also post to X. That agency needs a list price for 33 to 35 profiles, client-by-client approvals, and same-day setup. PromoRepublic’s quote process answers a different question.

A franchise head office with 60 or more locations has not outgrown PromoRepublic at all. Listings accuracy across Apple Maps and Foursquare, review responses at scale, and network-wide approval workflows are exactly what the current product does. The staying-on-PromoRepublic section below covers that case.

What a PromoRepublic Replacement Has to Cover

PromoRepublic prices by location, and that unit hides the real comparison. One PromoRepublic location typically carries a Facebook Page, an Instagram account, and a Google Business Profile, so one location equals roughly three social accounts. Almost every alternative prices per social account, per channel, per brand, or per user seat instead. Convert your roster to a flat social account count before comparing anything.

Then run five checks against that roster:

  1. Confirm the price is public and the signup is self-serve. That is the trigger that started this search, so do not trade one quote process for another.
  2. Confirm the platforms your roster needs, especially Google Business Profile, X, Threads, and Bluesky. PromoRepublic covers the first two and lists neither of the last two.
  3. Find two plan tiers, not one: the tier where client approvals start and the tier where team roles start. Those are separate purchase questions at most vendors, and several per-channel rivals gate approvals behind their most expensive tier.
  4. Name which PromoRepublic modules you actually use. Schedulers on this page replace the Social module. Listings and Reviews need a separate answer, covered in the reputation group below.
  5. Price the loaded cost, meaning base plan plus every add-on your roster forces. Vista Social’s $79 plan becomes $108 once X publishing joins.

The coverage table below settles the first three checks for the tools this page names most often.

RecurPost’s directory of social media scheduling alternatives runs these same checks across 40+ tools. The eight groups below run them for the PromoRepublic case only.

PromoRepublic Alternatives by Switching Trigger

You Want List Prices and Same-Day Setup

Closest fitRecurPost, or Publer and Metricool for smaller rosters
RecurPost fits whenThe roster passes a handful of profiles, since Agency covers 20 social accounts for a flat $79 with no per-seat charge
Publer or Metricool fits whenTwo or three accounts is the whole roster
Every option herePublishes a price and connects accounts today, with no demo call

RecurPost publishes every price on the RecurPost pricing page: Starter at $9 per month for 2 social accounts, Personal at $25 for 5, and Agency at $79 for 20 flat with 3 team members included. RecurPost charges $4 per month for each extra social account and $20 per month for each extra team member. RecurPost’s yearly billing gives two months free. RecurPost’s trial runs 14 days without a credit card, and accounts connect the same day.

RecurPost bills per social account rather than per user seat. That unit inverts a PromoRepublic quote priced by locations plus modules, so a growing roster changes the RecurPost bill by $4 at a time instead of triggering a new negotiation.

Publer starts at $5 per month for the first social account plus $4 for each extra one, and Publer connects accounts in minutes. Metricool posts its full price list too, starting free for 1 brand.

Buffer belongs in this group as well and gets its own group next, because Buffer’s fit depends on roster size rather than pricing transparency.

RecurPost fits this group once the roster passes a handful of profiles, because the Agency plan’s $79 covers 20 social accounts with no per-seat charge. A buyer with two or three accounts fits the Buffer group better.

You Run One Local Business and Want Simple

Closest fitBuffer
Buffer fits whenOne location’s Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business Profile fit on the free plan
RecurPost fits whenGoogle Business Profile CTA buttons and post failure reasons are worth $25 per month
RecurPost does not fit whenStarter’s 2 social accounts have to cover a three-profile local footprint

Buffer covers a single location’s whole footprint free. Buffer’s free plan takes 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel, which fits one Facebook Page, one Instagram account, and one Google Business Profile. Buffer Essentials removes the post cap at $6 per channel per month on monthly billing. Buffer also publishes to Threads, Bluesky, and Mastodon.

Buffer’s limits matter less at this size but they exist. Buffer surfaces no error when a post fails, so a missed Google Business Profile post goes unnoticed until you check manually. Buffer requires account credentials at connection and gates approvals behind its Team plan at $12 per channel per month.

RecurPost Starter covers 2 social accounts at $9 per month, which misses the three-profile local footprint by one. RecurPost Personal reaches 5 social accounts at $25 with Google Business Profile CTA buttons and post failure reasons included. RecurPost handles 850+ documented platform error types, so a rejected Google Business Profile post surfaces with the reason attached.

Buffer fits this group for a single location on a budget. A local business that wants Google Business Profile CTA buttons and failure reasons pays $25 for RecurPost Personal and gets both.

You Manage Clients, Not Locations

Closest fitRecurPost, or HeyOrca with zero X clients
RecurPost fits whenThe roster is many client brands rather than one brand across locations, and clients include X accounts
RecurPost does not fit whenA head office pushes one brand’s content down to dozens of franchisee locations under compliance rules
Sendible fits whenThe roster stays under about 20 accounts

RecurPost onboards clients without passwords. The client receives an email or link invite, connects their own accounts, and never shares credentials. RecurPost includes client workspaces on the Agency plan at $79 per month, and each workspace keeps that client’s accounts, content, schedules, and libraries separate. RecurPost produces white-label PDF reports per client. RecurPost’s internal and external approval workflow sits on that same Agency plan, and the next group covers how it runs.

PromoRepublic’s account model assumes one brand fanned out to many locations. PromoRepublic’s location holds the pages, and PromoRepublic caps each location at 5 participants regardless of role. An agency roster is eleven separate brands with a different sign-off contact each, so the location unit fits that shape awkwardly.

Sendible matches the onboarding with Client Connect, which handles password-free account connection the same way, but only from its Plus plan at $99 per month, where approval workflows also start. Sendible’s $29 Core plan covers 6 profiles with unlimited users and includes neither Client Connect nor approvals, and its per-plan value thins out toward 20 or more accounts.

HeyOrca prices client approval per client workspace, from $59 up to $149 per workspace per month, and HeyOrca also runs a free tier. HeyOrca dropped direct X publishing in April 2026, so the eleven-client agency from earlier, with two X clients, cannot use it.

Vista Social covers approvals and client management inside a broader feature set at $79 per month for 15 profiles, with X publishing as a $29 add-on.

An agency whose clients include X accounts fits RecurPost here. An agency with zero X clients and a review-heavy workflow should price HeyOrca per workspace before deciding, and Sendible suits rosters under about 20 accounts.

You Need Client Approval Deadlines That Act and Per-Client Roles

Closest fitRecurPost for stage deadlines that act and per-client roles, Vista Social for approvals plus listening
RecurPost fits whenEvery post needs an internal review and a client sign-off, a missed deadline must not stall the calendar, and each person needs different access per client
RecurPost does not fit whenThe review chain has to differ from one client to the next, or the client relationship rests on a branded portal on your own domain
PromoRepublic still fits whenA franchise program needs renamed location roles with reset permission levels

PromoRepublic runs approvals as a per-post toggle called “Propose this post for approval”, and PromoRepublic states that the feature is not included in some of its subscription plans. A proposed PromoRepublic post does not publish without approval. When the client does not approve a proposed post on time, PromoRepublic changes the Approve button to Publish Now and emails the client. PromoRepublic assigns four default user roles inside a location: owner, admin, member, and client. PromoRepublic’s client role sees a limited interface that still approves proposed content, boosts posts, and makes basic edits. PromoRepublic’s member role creates posts and proposes them for approval without inviting participants, connecting pages, or managing page settings.

RecurPost runs approvals as a staged workflow on a Kanban board. The RecurPost account owner configures the stages once for the whole account, because an agency does not change how it works from one client to the next. Each RecurPost stage is one of three types: work, internal review, or client review. RecurPost lets the owner rename, add, and remove stages, with Ideas and Scheduled columns bookending the board.

RecurPost’s default workflow chains four steps:

  1. A writer drafts the post in the Writing stage.
  2. A manager clears the post in the Manager Review stage within 48 hours, or RecurPost escalates it.
  3. The client approves the post in the Client Review stage within 72 hours, or RecurPost reschedules it by one day.
  4. A client who requests changes sends the post back to Writing with comments.

RecurPost sets each stage’s timeout at 4, 8, 24, 48, or 72 hours, or at 7 days. RecurPost warns the assigned role at 50 percent and 80 percent of that timeout and again once the stage runs overdue. The owner also picks what RecurPost does when the timeout expires:

  1. RecurPost holds the post in its stage until someone acts.
  2. RecurPost approves the post automatically and moves it on.
  3. RecurPost escalates the post to the next approver.
  4. RecurPost reschedules the post so a late client review never publishes on the wrong day.

RecurPost controls who acts at each stage through roles, and RecurPost includes roles and permissions on every plan from the $9 Starter plan. RecurPost starts every account with role templates:

RecurPost roleWhat the role can do
ContributorWrites their own drafts and sends them for review, with no access to other people’s posts or approvals
WriterWrites and edits posts, manages the content library, and replies in the inbox
EditorApproves posts at internal review stages, edits anyone’s work, and manages the inbox
PublisherPublishes and schedules, handles client approvals, exports reports, and manages the team

RecurPost also lets the owner edit a template or build a custom role by ticking individual permissions. RecurPost’s permissions cover posts, approvals and publishing, social profiles, the content library, the inbox, reports, DM automations, paid ads, client review, and workspace and team settings. Turning off a section such as Paid ads hides that page from the member’s sidebar. A RecurPost member who tries a blocked action sees the exact permission to ask the workspace owner for.

RecurPost assigns roles per workspace, so one person holds different roles for different clients. A freelancer can be a Writer for one client, an Editor for a second, and hold no access to a third. RecurPost also names an Account Manager for each workspace. RecurPost’s Account Manager is a guaranteed second approver and can approve on the client’s behalf, and RecurPost logs every approve-on-behalf.

RecurPost’s clients never log in to approve. The client opens the shareable calendar and approves each post or requests changes with one button.

The eleven-client agency from earlier runs two freelance writers and one account manager. Each freelancer holds the Writer role only in the workspaces they cover. The account manager clears Manager Review within 48 hours from the board. A client who goes quiet before a Friday grand-opening post triggers the reschedule rule, and the post moves to Saturday instead of publishing unapproved.

Roles, approvals, and Kanban boards are common in this category. Metricool ships preset roles including a Client role that approves or rejects posts. Publer sets approval per member across its Admin, Editor, and Client roles. Sprout Social runs multi-step, multi-role approval workflows. RecurPost’s narrower claim is the stage deadline that acts on its own, plus roles assigned per workspace and the Account Manager’s logged approve-on-behalf.

You Actually Use the Reviews Module

Closest fitVista Social
Vista Social fits whenReviews drove the PromoRepublic purchase and social scheduling rode along
Stay on PromoRepublic whenThe Listings module with Apple Maps and Foursquare sync is what you depend on, since no scheduler replaces it

Vista Social covers this group. Vista Social pulls reviews from Google, Yelp, Trustpilot, TripAdvisor, OpenTable, and the app stores into the same inbox as social messages, so a reputation-focused buyer replaces PromoRepublic’s Reviews module and its Social module in one tool. Vista Social’s Professional plan costs $79 per month for 15 profiles and 2 users. Vista Social adds X publishing for $29 and listening for $75.

No tool on this page replaces PromoRepublic’s Listings module. PromoRepublic’s listings sync to Apple Maps, Foursquare, and the wider directory network is a local-SEO product, not a scheduling feature. A buyer who depends on Listings should read the staying-on-PromoRepublic section before switching anything.

RecurPost does not compete on reviews. RecurPost monitors Google Business Profile post rejections but runs no review inbox and no reputation module.

Vista Social fits when reviews drove the PromoRepublic purchase and social scheduling rode along. Staying on PromoRepublic fits when Listings did.

You Want Analytics and Google Business Profile Without a Contract

Closest fitMetricool
Metricool fits whenAnalytics comes first, each client needs one profile per network, and no sales contract is acceptable
RecurPost fits whenClients expect white-label PDF reports across 10 platforms and nobody needs competitor benchmarks
Watch forMetricool’s X publishing add-on on an X-heavy roster, and approvals only from Advanced at $67

Metricool covers this group on price. Metricool’s free plan covers 1 brand with up to 20 posts per month. Metricool’s $25 Starter covers 5 brands with unlimited publishing and the $45 tier reaches 10 brands. Metricool includes Google Business Profile on every tier and puts ads management inside the same dashboard. One Metricool brand holds one client’s whole profile set, so 5 brands means 5 clients at $25. Metricool sells X publishing as a paid add-on, the one line item to budget for.

RecurPost competes here through Custom Reports. RecurPost’s drag-and-drop report builder assembles 200+ metrics across 10 platforms. RecurPost’s reports carry audience demographics, including Instagram and Facebook age, gender, and location plus LinkedIn industry, seniority, and function. RecurPost also reports Meta ads metrics and Google Business reviews in the same document. RecurPost delivers the finished report as a white-label PDF, and RecurPost’s Chat with Reports AI answers questions about the numbers inside it. RecurPost offers no competitor benchmarking.

Metricool fits an analytics-first buyer, and an X-heavy roster should price the per-brand X add-on first. A team that needs client approvals from day one outgrows Metricool’s lower tiers, since Metricool starts approvals on Advanced at $67.

You Need Threads and Bluesky

Closest fitBuffer under roughly 10 channels, RecurPost past that
Buffer fits whenThe roster runs roughly 10 channels or fewer
RecurPost fits whenClient workspaces or 20-account pricing enter the picture
RecurPost does not fit whenX posts run past 280 characters and the client holds no X Premium subscription

RecurPost publishes to Threads and Bluesky on every paid plan, alongside Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, YouTube, and TikTok. RecurPost’s X support includes an X Wallet, funded by the account, that pays X’s $0.20 per-link posting fee, so an agency keeps posting link content without setting up API billing for each client. Buffer publishes to Threads, Bluesky, and Mastodon on its free plan upward. Vista Social and Publer cover both networks too. PromoRepublic’s integrations page lists neither.

RecurPost and Buffer split this group by roster size: Buffer under roughly 10 channels, RecurPost once client workspaces or 20-account pricing enter the picture.

You Need Social Listening or Enterprise Monitoring With Transparent Pricing

Closest fitSprout Social or Hootsuite, Agorapulse for per-seat cost
Sprout Social fits whenListening depth is the point
Agorapulse fits whenPer-seat cost matters more than listening depth
RecurPost does not fitRecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis at any price

Sprout Social and Hootsuite cover this group for buyers who want PromoRepublic-scale monitoring with a published rate card. Sprout Social’s Standard plan runs $199 per seat per month on annual billing ($249 monthly), with social listening sold as an add-on. Hootsuite’s annual per-user rates run $99 for Standard with 10 accounts, $199 for Professional, and $399 for Advanced, which is where approval workflows live. Agorapulse lists $99 per user on monthly billing ($79 annual), with approval workflows starting on its Professional plan at $149.

RecurPost does not compete in this group. RecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis. An enterprise that left PromoRepublic over pricing opacity rather than product fit should shortlist these three from RecurPost’s directory of RecurPost alternatives, which covers each of them.

Sprout Social fits this group when listening depth is the point, and Agorapulse fits when per-seat cost matters more. None of the three fits a small local roster’s budget, which is what the earlier groups are for.

Where RecurPost Falls Short

RecurPost’s gaps deserve the same bluntness as PromoRepublic’s.

  • RecurPost has no listings-sync and no review-management module, so PromoRepublic’s Listings and Reviews products have no RecurPost equivalent at all.
  • RecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis.
  • RecurPost’s workflow stages are account-wide, so the review chain does not vary client by client. An agency that runs a genuinely different approval chain for each client hits that limit first.
  • RecurPost has no branded client portal on a custom domain, sends no automatic client reminder emails, and ships no white-label mobile app. PromoRepublic offers a white-label mobile app on Enterprise.
  • RecurPost includes no dedicated Customer Success Manager. Every PromoRepublic tier from Build upward includes one.
  • RecurPost charges $20 per month for each team member past the 3 included on Agency.
  • RecurPost’s interface is utilitarian. It handles large client rosters fine and wins no design awards doing it.
  • RecurPost offers no competitor benchmarking.
  • RecurPost does not publish to Snapchat and has no link-in-bio product.
  • RecurPost publishes X posts beyond 280 characters only when the client holds their own X Premium subscription.

Agencies that switched anyway did it for pricing clarity and workflow coverage. The RecurPost case studies show which rosters made that trade and why.

Annual billing lowers most of these list prices by roughly 17 to 25 percent. Run the math in both directions.

The eleven-client agency from the top of this page carries 35 social accounts: 33 across Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business Profile plus two X accounts. RecurPost Agency costs $79 for 20 accounts plus 15 extra accounts at $4, which totals $139 per month. That $139 covers the approval workflow, team roles, the Kanban board, X, and Google Business Profile, with 3 team members included. Vista Social needs the Advanced plan at $149 for 30 profiles plus the $29 X add-on and still sits 5 profiles short. Buffer Team at 35 channels costs $420.

A single-location business pays less almost anywhere than through any quote. Buffer covers Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business Profile free at 10 posts per channel per month. Metricool covers 1 brand free. RecurPost Personal covers 5 social accounts at $25.

An analytics-led team of 10 clients pays Metricool $45 per month, which undercuts RecurPost Agency at $79 and every other tool in the table. Metricool costs less in that scenario unless the roster needs X on several accounts, where the paid X add-on stacks.

A franchise network with 80 locations should probably not leave at all. That network runs roughly 240 social pages plus listings and reviews across every location. Rebuilding it means a scheduler, a listings service, and a review platform stitched together. PromoRepublic’s single quote with a dedicated Customer Success Manager can genuinely beat that stack on both cost and effort.

When Staying on PromoRepublic Is the Right Call

PromoRepublic keeps four things nobody on this page replaces in one product. PromoRepublic’s listings sync pushes location data to Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, and Foursquare. PromoRepublic’s review management covers TripAdvisor and Google at network scale. PromoRepublic’s HQ-to-location distribution pushes brand content to every location through built-in approval workflows and brand kits. Every PromoRepublic tier from Build upward includes a dedicated Customer Success Manager, with a white-label mobile app available on Enterprise.

PromoRepublic also reshapes its role model for franchise programs. PromoRepublic’s enterprise and franchise solutions rename location roles and change their permission levels, so a location role reads as Franchise, Franchisee, or Store Manager. RecurPost’s role templates and custom permissions work per workspace instead, which is a different design for a different buyer.

A franchise headquarters using two or more of those should stay and negotiate the quote instead. RecurPost, Buffer, Metricool, and Publer are schedulers. None of them syncs a listing or routes a franchisee’s post through a compliance rule.

Where RecurPost Fits Against PromoRepublic, and Where It Does Not

RecurPost fits the roster that PromoRepublic’s repositioning left behind. The three-person agency with eleven local clients lands on RecurPost because every price sits on a public page, each client connects accounts through a password-free email or link invite, and each client’s work sits in a separate workspace on the Agency plan. The two X clients publish through included X support, with the account-funded X Wallet paying link fees. Every Google Business Profile post carries CTA buttons (Book, Call Now, Offer) with rejection monitoring. Each post moves from writer to account manager to client on the Kanban board, and a client who misses the 72-hour client review window gets the post rescheduled rather than published unapproved. RecurPost’s error handling covers 850+ documented platform failure types, so a failed post surfaces with a reason instead of disappearing silently.

RecurPost does not fit franchise networks that lean on Listings and Reviews, buyers who need social listening, head offices running compliance rollouts to franchisee locations, agencies whose client relationship rests on a branded portal on their own domain, or reputation-led buyers. Those buyers have better answers in the Vista Social and Sprout Social groups above.

Moving Off PromoRepublic

A move off PromoRepublic runs in four steps, and the directory of RecurPost alternatives carries the full switching checklist behind them.

  1. Check your PromoRepublic contract terms first, since quote-based agreements often run annually rather than month to month.
  2. Download media and copy captions from PromoRepublic’s content library before access ends.
  3. Rebuild your review chain as RecurPost workflow stages and assign roles per workspace before inviting the team, so the first client post enters a working board rather than an empty calendar.
  4. Import past posts into RecurPost from each connected social account and invite each client to reconnect through a RecurPost invite link, so the library rebuilds without CSV formatting and no client hands over a password during the move.

Eleven clients reconnect over one weekend this way, with a writer stage, a manager stage, and a client stage live on day one.

RecurPost’s alerts follow the rebuilt workflow. RecurPost emails the assigned member and pings the mobile app when a post is assigned, when posts wait for review, when a post is approved or sent back with changes, when a stage nears or misses its timeout, when a client approves or rejects, and when a post fails to publish or an account needs reconnecting.

PromoRepublic Alternatives FAQs

Which PromoRepublic Alternative Fits Which Switching Trigger?

Match the tool to the trigger that pushed you out rather than to a ranking, since the alternatives at a glance table already pairs each alternative with the buyer it fits. Two answers sit outside that table. PromoRepublic itself still fits a franchise network that depends on the Listings module, since no scheduler on this page syncs a location to Apple Maps or Foursquare. A buyer who cannot yet name which PromoRepublic modules they use settles that question before comparing any price, because the schedulers here replace the Social module only. For the broader product decision, see the RecurPost publishing platform.

Does PromoRepublic Publish Its Pricing?

No. PromoRepublic’s pricing page lists three tiers, Build, Grow, and Enterprise, without prices, and states that cost depends on the number of locations or pages managed plus the modules chosen. Every tier ends in a quote request, verified against the vendor page on July 17, 2026.

Does PromoRepublic Still Offer a Small Business Plan?

PromoRepublic’s small-business page now presents two signup paths, Enterprise and Agency, both behind demo booking. PromoRepublic sold self-serve small-business plans in earlier years, but the current site shows no self-serve plan and no public price for one.

Which PromoRepublic Alternatives Publish Their Prices?

RecurPost lists Starter at $9, Personal at $25, and Agency at $79 per month. Buffer lists $6 per channel, Metricool starts free with a $25 Starter, Vista Social lists $79 for 15 profiles, and Publer lists $5 for the first account plus $4 per extra one. All of these run self-serve trials without a sales call.

What Replaces PromoRepublic’s Listings and Reviews Modules?

Vista Social replaces the Reviews module: it pulls Google, Yelp, Trustpilot, TripAdvisor, and OpenTable reviews into one inbox from $79 per month. No scheduler on this page replaces the Listings module, which syncs location data to Apple Maps and Foursquare. A buyer who depends on Listings should stay on PromoRepublic or add a dedicated local-SEO service.

Is There a Free PromoRepublic Alternative?

Buffer’s free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel, enough for one location’s Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business Profile. Metricool’s free plan manages 1 brand with up to 20 posts per month, without X or LinkedIn publishing. RecurPost runs no free plan and offers a 14-day trial with no credit card instead, with Starter at $9 per month as the paid path. Free tiers fit a single business rather than a client roster.

Do Any PromoRepublic Alternatives Publish to Threads and Bluesky?

RecurPost publishes to both on every paid plan. Buffer covers Threads, Bluesky, and Mastodon, and Vista Social and Publer cover both networks. PromoRepublic’s integrations page lists neither Threads nor Bluesky.

What Does a Small Agency Pay After Leaving PromoRepublic?

An agency with 35 client profiles pays RecurPost $139 per month on the Agency plan ($79 for 20 accounts plus 15 extra accounts at $4), with the approval workflow, team roles, and 3 team members included. Vista Social Advanced reaches 30 profiles at $149 plus $29 for X. Buffer Team at 35 channels costs $420. Sendible starts at $29 for small rosters, though its client onboarding and approvals need the $99 Plus plan, and its value thins out toward 20 or more accounts.

Does RecurPost Have Team Roles and Permissions Like PromoRepublic’s?

RecurPost has team roles and permissions on every plan, starting at $9. RecurPost assigns each role per workspace, so one person holds different roles for different clients. RecurPost starts you with role templates, Contributor, Writer, Editor, and Publisher, and lets you build custom roles by ticking individual permissions. PromoRepublic assigns owner, admin, member, and client roles inside a location and caps each location at 5 participants regardless of role.

What Happens When a Client Does Not Approve a Post in Time?

RecurPost applies the timeout rule the account owner chose for that stage. RecurPost holds the post, approves it automatically, escalates it, or reschedules it once the timeout runs out, and that timeout is set at 4, 8, 24, 48, or 72 hours, or 7 days. RecurPost warns the assigned role at 50 percent and 80 percent of the timeout and again when the stage is overdue. PromoRepublic changes the Approve button to Publish Now and emails the client when a proposed post is not approved on time.

Which PromoRepublic Alternatives Let Clients Approve Posts Without Logging In?

RecurPost and Vista Social both let a client approve posts without logging in. RecurPost shares the calendar with the client, and the client approves each post or requests changes with one button. RecurPost includes that client review workflow with client workspaces on the Agency plan at $79 per month. RecurPost then applies the stage timeout rule when a client goes quiet, so a Client Review stage set to 72 hours holds, escalates, auto-approves, or reschedules the post. PromoRepublic works the other way, because PromoRepublic’s client role approves proposed content inside a limited interface in the platform. Vista Social’s clients approve without logging in as well, and Vista Social routes its multi-step approvals in a set order.
