Meta Threads Scheduler
Schedule Threads posts for every client account
RecurPost is a social media scheduler that publishes straight to client Threads accounts through Meta’s official Threads API. Text posts, photo sets, videos and link posts all go live at the scheduled minute, with no phone handoffs and no reminder notifications. Alt text, link cards and the 500-character limit are all handled in the composer, before anything reaches Threads.
- 14-day trial. No credit card.

500 characters, checked at compose time
20 images in one Threads photo post
850+ platform errors handled
20 accounts for $79/mo
Every Threads format, published natively
RecurPost publishes each of the post types Threads’ API accepts, and keeps the mechanics that make each one work.
Text posts
The format Threads runs on. Up to 500 characters, checked while you type, so a long thought gets trimmed in the composer instead of bouncing at publish time.
Photo posts
One image or a swipeable set of up to 20. Every image carries its own alt text, written in the composer and sent through the API with the post.
Video posts
One video per post. RecurPost checks the file against Threads’ specs before publishing, then keeps confirming with Threads until the post is actually live, since Threads processes video after accepting it.
Link posts
A link publishes as Threads’ native link card through the API’s link attachment, not as a bare URL pasted into the text. The post keeps its full 500 characters for the message.
Reply chains and polls are Threads-app features the API does not open to schedulers. RecurPost publishes standalone posts, which is what client accounts schedule anyway.
From client invite to published post
You invite the client by email or link.
The client signs into their own Threads profile with Meta and approves access. The profile lands in your workspace as its own account, and no password changes hands.
Your team queues posts on the social media calendar, uploads a month by CSV with bulk scheduling, or lets recurring time slots place each post in the client’s own time zone.
The client approves the queue from a shared calendar link, with no RecurPost login needed. Approvals come with every paid plan, from $9 per month.
RecurPost publishes to the Threads API at the scheduled minute. Photo sets upload image by image and publish as one post; videos are confirmed live before the post is marked published.
A freelancer running a specialty coffee roaster’s Threads account stages the week in one sitting: three text posts, a photo set from the roastery, and a link post to the new subscription page. Each lands at the scheduled minute without anyone opening the Threads app. That flow is part of how the RecurPost social media scheduler handles client work.

Clients connect their own Threads. You never hold a password.
RecurPost connects a client’s Threads profile through an invite link. The client signs into their own account with Meta, approves access, and the profile shows up in your workspace ready to schedule. Every connected profile is its own account with its own queue, schedule and report, and existing Threads posts can be imported into a content library for reuse.
- Invite by email or link; the connect page can carry your agency logo
- The client signs into Threads themselves; credentials never pass through you
- Each Threads profile is its own account with its own posting schedule
- Access uses Meta's official Threads scopes for publishing and insights
- Existing Threads posts can be imported into a content library for reuse
- Disconnect or reconnect an account in one click, without touching the rest of the workspace
If a client wants you replying inside their Threads conversations all day, that lives in the Threads app itself. RecurPost’s job here is publishing and reporting.

Replies, reposts and quotes, broken out
RecurPost pulls per-post insights from Threads’ API: views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes and shares, rolled up into totals, engagement rate and follower growth. Top posts, top countries and an engagement funnel sit in the same report, and the data refreshes on demand before a client call.
The report separates quotes from reposts and originals, so you can show a client which posts got carried into other people’s conversations rather than just counting likes. Every report exports as a PDF under your own logo, so the client sees their agency’s name on the cover, not RecurPost’s.

When a Threads post fails, you get the cause and the fix
RecurPost recovers first and reports second.
The 500-character limit is enforced while you type, so an over-length post is fixed in the composer during work hours, not discovered as a failed publish at 7 PM when the queue runs.
Video files are checked against Threads’ published specs before upload, and a wrong aspect ratio, bitrate or frame rate comes back as plain instruction about the file, not an API error code.
Threads processes video posts after accepting them. RecurPost keeps checking the publish status with Threads and only marks the post live once Threads confirms it, retrying the confirmation when Threads is slow.
If a client’s Threads access expires or is revoked, the account is flagged for a one-click reconnect and the queue holds, so posts resume instead of silently failing for a week.
When Threads rejects a post, the failure lands in your dashboard translated into what actually went wrong and what to change, drawn from a catalog of 850+ documented platform errors built across ten platforms.
An agency schedules a launch-day photo set for the roaster at 9 AM. One image is oversized; the composer flags it Tuesday while the post is being built. The set publishes Thursday at 9:00 and the report shows it pulling replies by 9:40.
Some schedulers drop failed posts silently, and the client notices before the agency does.

Threads' rules, handled before publish day
RecurPost’s composer counts the 500-character limit as you type and blocks scheduling until the post fits. A photo post carries up to 20 images with alt text on each, a video post carries one video checked against Threads’ specs, and a link publishes as the native link card. A post carries images or one video, not a mix, and the composer makes that clear before you schedule.

Meta Threads scheduler FAQs
Does RecurPost publish to Threads automatically, or does it send me a reminder?
RecurPost publishes directly through Meta’s official Threads API. The post goes live at the scheduled minute on its own; nobody gets a notification asking them to finish the job on a phone.
What happens if my post is over Threads' 500-character limit?
The composer counts characters as you type and blocks the post from being scheduled until it fits. The limit is enforced at compose time, so over-length posts never reach Threads as failures.
Can I post more than one image on Threads?
Yes. RecurPost publishes a single image or a swipeable set of up to 20 images in one Threads post, with individual alt text on each image. A post carries images or one video, not a mix of both.
Does RecurPost support Threads video?
Yes, one video per post. RecurPost checks the file against Threads’ video specs before publishing, and because Threads processes video after accepting it, RecurPost confirms the post is actually live before marking it published.
Can a scheduled post show a link preview card?
Yes. RecurPost attaches the URL through the Threads API’s link attachment, so the post renders Threads’ native link card instead of a bare pasted URL, and the full 500 characters stay available for your text.
How do clients connect their Threads accounts?
Through an invite link. The client signs into their own Threads profile with Meta and approves access; no passwords are shared, and each connected profile becomes its own account in your workspace.
What Threads analytics does RecurPost report?
Views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes and shares per post, plus totals, engagement rate, follower growth, top posts and top countries. Reports export as white-label PDFs under your agency’s logo.
Can I schedule a reply chain or a multi-post thread?
No. The Threads API publishes standalone posts, and that is what RecurPost schedules. Replies, reply controls, polls and topic tags remain features of the Threads app itself.
