Tailwind Reviews
Positive Reviews
Tailwind is best for generating content for your marketing automation. It is straightforward to use. The UI is intuitive, and the calendar feature is outstanding. Copilot is very smart and gives good suggestions. The tools for social media management are fantastic. ~ Pawan K. (G2 link)
I really like the Communities feature of Tailwind because it is easy to find likeminded Pinterest users who you can share your pins with and since each community represents a wide array of resources you can re-pin and save on your own account, you run out of high quality pins you can share with your followers. ~ Bernadette G. (Capterra link)
I have to say that what I MOST like about Tailwind is that they continuously evolve and improve their feature set. Most similar tools tend to stagnate and just offer the same set of features they did years ago, and only add new capabilities when Instagram or Facebook changes the AP. However, Tailwind thinks outside of the box and incorporates different feature sets into their offering to make their tool stand out from the others. For example, they’ve added new functionality into their platform by introducting Tailwind Create, which allows you to design different types of graphics for social media posts, and also email marketing functions, which I haven’t explored fully yet. In addition to the unique features, Tailwind also has a great intuitive workflow and supports almost all the functions that you’d need out of a social media scheduler. ~ Carol C. (Capterra link)
I like that not only can I time my social media posts but I can also see my the display of the feed that will be displayed on IG. Easy to use and you can store lists of # for different types of posts. Smart bio link is very helpful to drive traffic off the platform. ~ Karrie B. (G2 link)
One of the best features of tailwind is that it allows you to schedule your instagram posts. So, you can curate content for a whole week and upload it according to your schedule. ~ Atulya B. (G2 link)
Negative Reviews
We upgraded our account to have access to the pin designer. This feature will have you pulling your hair out. After creating the pin, 90% of the time there would be an error and you’d have to completely start over. Save yourself time and money by not upgrading to this and creating your pins elsewhere. ~ Brandy V. (Capterra link)
The return on investment is simply bad. The app is just too expensive for what it does. ~ Alexandra Z. (Capterra link)
Pricing plans – they’ve raised the prices recently which from a business standpoint is understandable but doesn’t suit many small businesses anymore especially when there is so much Pinterest and Instagram approved that offer similar features for a lot less. ~ Craige H. (G2 link)
I dislike how slow and clunky the Tailwind site can load when you are automating pin creation. I know it requires a lot of the app to make these graphics but it can freeze up and be slow at times. ~ Monique K. (G2 link)
I feel Tailwind Plus is too expensive, and I cannot schedule pins on my phone through the app. ~ Alaina W. (G2 link)
