Postfity alternatives split by the gap that pushes a buyer out. The five groups below match each gap to the tools that close it. Each group also states where RecurPost fits and where it does not.

Postfity now delivers Simplified, and the takeover is complete. The Go to App button on postfity.com opens app.simplified.com, and a signup lands in the Simplified dashboard under Simplified branding and Simplified plan names. Postfity’s pricing page sells Simplified’s Social Media AI plans instead of the old Postfity tiers. A buyer who chose Postfity as a light standalone scheduler now logs in to a full AI copywriting and design suite.

Five switching triggers cover most Postfity departures.

Every tool in that table loses somewhere, RecurPost included. The rest of this page shows where, starting with the alternatives at a glance.

Postfity alternatives are social media management platforms that replace some combination of Postfity’s scheduling, approval workflow, and platform coverage, now that Postfity runs as part of Simplified’s Social Media AI suite. No replacement on this page matches the AI creation suite Simplified wraps around Postfity’s scheduler, or its Telegram and WhatsApp Business publishing.

Postfity Alternatives and Competitors at a Glance

Ten tools cover the five switching triggers this page sorts by. The table below names the buyer each tool fits.

Why Buyers Leave Postfity

Postfity built a simple, likable scheduler and then sold it. Postfity is no longer a standalone product. Simplified owns it now, and postfity.com routes users into app.simplified.com under the Social Media AI banner. Postfity’s roadmap answers to Simplified’s priorities rather than to scheduling.

The product a buyer actually receives publishes to 13 networks:

  • Facebook Pages
  • Instagram business accounts, and personal accounts by mobile notification
  • LinkedIn profiles and company pages
  • Pinterest
  • YouTube
  • TikTok
  • Google Business Profile
  • Threads
  • Bluesky
  • Mastodon
  • Reddit
  • Telegram
  • WhatsApp Business

X is not on that list, and neither are Facebook Groups or Facebook personal profiles. A roster with one X client outgrows Postfity immediately, whatever the network count says. The postfity.com marketing site still advertises a VKontakte Scheduler, a Facebook Groups Scheduler, a Facebook Cover Scheduler and an Employee Advocacy tool, and new buyer accounts reach none of them, so read that site as a description of the earlier product.

Postfity puts external client approval on the Growth plan at $85 per month billed annually. Its One plan at $20 covers 7 social accounts, a single user, and an internal approval workflow only. A freelancer on the One plan has to move up to Growth before a client can review posts.

Postfity’s headline prices assume annual billing. Postfity’s pricing page quotes One at $20 per month and Growth at $85 per month as annual-billing rates. The same plans cost $29.99 and $119.99 billed monthly, so a month-to-month buyer either prepays a year or pays more than the sticker suggests. Enterprise is listed at $399 per month on annual billing with 10 seats, and it is sold through sales.

Postfity also meters the rest of the product. Analytics, the social inbox and calendar exports all sit behind a paid plan, bulk CSV scheduling is a $19 per month add-on rather than a plan feature, an extra social account costs $5 per month, an extra user $10 per month, and each extra AI Brandbook $35 per month. White-label reporting waits for Enterprise. A manager who proves results to clients every month outgrows Postfity’s reporting before the scheduler.

A freelancer running seven accounts for three local businesses on the One plan hits every wall at once. One client publishes to X. Another wants to approve posts before they publish. Postfity cannot connect the X account on any plan, and it covers the approval request only on Growth at $85.

A solo marketer posting to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest who wants the Simplified AI tools has not outgrown anything. That buyer gained AI copywriting, templates and a design suite bolted onto a working scheduler from $20 per month. The staying-on-Postfity section below covers that case, along with the platforms nobody on this page replaces.

What a Postfity Replacement Has to Cover

Postfity prices in plan bundles, and that unit hides the real comparison. Postfity’s One plan bundles 7 social accounts with 1 user. Postfity’s Growth plan bundles 30 accounts with 5 users. Most alternatives price per social account, per channel, per brand or per client workspace instead. Convert your roster to a flat account count and a named user count before comparing anything.

Then run three Postfity-specific checks against that roster:

  1. Confirm the platforms your clients need next, especially X, Facebook Groups and Facebook personal profiles. Postfity publishes to 13 networks and covers none of those three.
  2. Find the plan tier where external client approval starts. Postfity includes it in Growth at $85 per month on annual billing, and several rivals gate it too.
  3. Count who needs to touch the calendar, then check whether the tool separates what each person can do. Postfity’s One plan allows one user and charges $10 per month for each extra one, so a seven-account roster adding one contract writer faces a pricing question and a permissions question at the same time.

The coverage table below settles those three checks for the tools this page names most often.

The Buffer roles cell stays empty because no source in this page’s ledger states Buffer’s role structure.

Loaded cost and migration depth decide the switch too. Metricool’s $25 Starter needs a paid add-on before it posts to X, and Postfity’s scheduled posts do not follow you out, so favor a tool that imports past posts from connected accounts. RecurPost’s directory of social media scheduling alternatives runs both of those checks across 40+ tools. The five groups below run the Postfity checks only.

Postfity Alternatives by Switching Trigger

Postfity’s five switching triggers point to five different replacements. Each group below names the closest fit, the conditions where that tool fits, and the conditions where it does not.

You Wanted a Scheduler, Not an AI Suite

Closest fitBuffer, or Publer for bulk volume
Buffer fits whenThe plainest possible interface matters more than depth, and no board or role split is needed
Publer fits whenBulk volume is the whole job
RecurPost fits whenThe roster is small now, and a second person joins soon

Buffer sits closest to the old standalone Postfity. Buffer’s free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel. Buffer Essentials costs $6 per channel per month on monthly billing ($5 annual) with unlimited scheduling. Buffer publishes to X, Google Business Profile, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon.

Buffer’s plainness has hard edges. Buffer requires account credentials at connection. Buffer surfaces no error when a post fails. Buffer pushes the same content to every profile of a platform with no per-profile customization in one pass. Buffer puts approvals only on the Team plan at $12 per channel per month.

Publer plays the same role with more machinery. Publer prices at roughly $5 to $10 per account per month, groups accounts per client, and includes bulk CSV scheduling. Publer also ships Admin, Editor and Client roles, and Publer sets approval per member. Publer suits the Postfity user who liked the bulk uploader more than the simplicity.

RecurPost Starter covers 2 social accounts for $9 per month with the full scheduler attached. RecurPost’s Starter plan includes 1 user, and a second named member costs $20 per month. RecurPost also flags AI-generated content at publish time for Facebook Reels, Instagram, X, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok, so a team using any AI suite for creation still meets each platform’s disclosure rules from the scheduler.

A solo operator with two accounts who adds one freelance writer next quarter pays $9 today and $29 after the writer joins. Buffer and Publer both undercut RecurPost on a pure single-user roster.

Your Clients Publish to X

Closest fitRecurPost, or Vista Social for Snapchat and Reddit rosters
RecurPost fits whenX, Facebook Groups or Facebook personal profiles are the missing networks at Postfity-level prices
Vista Social fits whenSnapchat sits on the roster
Nothing here fits whenThe roster depends on Telegram or WhatsApp Business, which Postfity covers and no alternative here replaces

RecurPost publishes to X, Facebook Pages, Groups and personal profiles, Instagram business and personal accounts, LinkedIn profiles and company pages, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, TikTok, full YouTube videos plus Shorts, Threads and Bluesky. Postfity reaches 13 networks but none of those first three, so X, Facebook Groups and Facebook personal profiles are the accounts a Postfity roster cannot serve at all.

RecurPost includes X publishing on every paid plan. RecurPost’s X Wallet, funded by the account from $10.80, pays X’s $0.20 per-link posting fee, so an agency keeps posting link content without setting up API billing per client. RecurPost publishes X posts beyond 280 characters only when the client holds their own X Premium subscription.

Metricool covers TikTok and YouTube too, and Metricool adds per-platform scheduling controls. Metricool sells X publishing as a paid add-on, so an X-heavy roster pays extra on top of Metricool’s $25 Starter plan.

Buffer publishes to X, Threads and Bluesky, and Buffer handles only YouTube Shorts. Buffer closes the X gap for a small roster, and a client channel with long-form YouTube uploads rules it out.

Vista Social publishes to TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Reddit and Snapchat, and Vista Social sells X as a $29 per month add-on on top of its $79 Professional plan.

The three-client freelancer from the top of this page publishes the X client natively on day one. That freelancer gives up Telegram and WhatsApp Business, and no tool on this page returns them.

You Need Client Approvals Below $85 a Month

Closest fitRecurPost for a staged chain with deadlines that act, HeyOrca for a no-X roster
RecurPost fits whenInternal review and client sign-off run in one chain, the review deadline has to enforce itself, and the roster fits Agency at $79/mo
HeyOrca fits whenNo client posts to X and the review experience is the product
Sendible fits whenPassword-free client onboarding matters and the budget reaches the $99 Plus plan
Postfity still fits whenInternal review alone is enough and one user covers the whole team

Postfity puts external client approval on the Growth plan at $85 per month on annual billing. Its One plan at $20 carries an internal approval workflow only, for one user. Postfity’s approval workflow sits inside the Social Media AI dashboard, where a team sets up client profiles, submits content for approval, collects comments and revisions, and gets a notification when the client reviews and approves. The client opens a shared review link or an emailed bundle and marks each post Approved, Rejected or Pending Review.

Approval workflows and role templates are common in this category. HeyOrca, Vista Social, Metricool, Publer and Sprout Social all run them. RecurPost separates on the mechanics. RecurPost’s stage deadline acts on its own. RecurPost holds each role per workspace rather than per account. RecurPost logs every approve-on-behalf by a named Account Manager.

RecurPost runs approvals as a staged workflow on a Kanban board. RecurPost’s account owner configures the stages once for the whole account, because an agency does not change how it works from one client to the next. RecurPost supports work stages, internal review stages and client review stages. The owner renames, adds or removes stages.

RecurPost’s default workflow chains four steps:

  1. A writer drafts the post in the Writing stage.
  2. A manager clears the Manager Review stage within 48 hours, or RecurPost escalates the post.
  3. The client approves in the Client Review stage within 72 hours, or RecurPost reschedules the post by one day.
  4. A client who requests changes sends the post back to Writing with comments.

RecurPost’s Ideas and Scheduled columns bookend that board. RecurPost moves each post across the board as a card with an assignee, labels and a media preview.

RecurPost’s owner sets each stage’s timeout at 4, 8, 24, 48 or 72 hours, or at 7 days. RecurPost then applies the rule the owner picked once the clock runs out:

  1. RecurPost holds the post in its stage until someone acts.
  2. RecurPost approves the post automatically and moves it on.
  3. RecurPost escalates the post to the next approver.
  4. RecurPost reschedules the post, so a late review never publishes on the wrong day.

RecurPost warns the assigned role at 50 percent and 80 percent of the stage clock, and again when the stage runs over. RecurPost sends those alerts by email and in the mobile app.

RecurPost controls who acts at each stage through roles. RecurPost starts every account with role templates:

RecurPost roleWhat the role can do
ContributorWrites their own drafts and sends them for review, with no access to other people’s posts or approvals
WriterWrites and edits posts, manages the content library, replies in the inbox
EditorApproves posts at internal review stages, edits anyone’s work, manages the inbox
PublisherPublishes and schedules, handles client approvals, exports reports, manages the team

RecurPost also lets the owner build a custom role by ticking individual permissions. RecurPost’s permission ticks reach every part of the product, from posts and approvals to the inbox, paid ads and client review. RecurPost hides a switched-off section from that member’s sidebar, and a member who tries a blocked action sees the exact permission to ask the workspace owner for.

RecurPost assigns each role per workspace, so one person holds different roles for different clients. A contract writer can hold the Writer role for one client, the Editor role for a second, and no access to a third. RecurPost also names an Account Manager in each workspace. RecurPost’s Account Manager is a guaranteed second approver who can approve on the client’s behalf, and RecurPost logs every approve-on-behalf.

RecurPost’s clients review posts from the shareable calendar without logging in. The client approves each post or requests changes with one button. RecurPost invites each client by email or link, so the client connects their own accounts and never shares credentials.

HeyOrca builds its product around client review. HeyOrca prices per client workspace, from $50 for a Basic workspace up to $126 per workspace per month, and HeyOrca includes unlimited users and unlimited approvals from that Basic tier. HeyOrca moves a post through Draft, Awaiting approval, Approved and Revise, and HeyOrca can require several named approvers on one post. HeyOrca does not publish to X at all, so a roster with X clients cannot use it.

Sendible matches RecurPost’s password-free client onboarding with Client Connect. Sendible starts at $29 per month for 6 profiles, and Sendible’s Client Connect arrives on the $99 Plus plan. Sendible’s per-plan value thins out toward 20 or more accounts.

Vista Social routes multi-step approvals in a set order, and a Vista Social contributor’s posts always need approval. Vista Social’s clients and team members approve without logging in. Vista Social shows a Kanban Board view inside Vista Work projects, and Vista Social adds deadline escalation through the third-party ApproveThis integration. Vista Social includes approvals in its $79 Professional plan.

Metricool puts client approvals on its Advanced plan at $67 per month. Metricool ships five preset roles plus custom roles, and Metricool’s Client role approves or rejects posts.

A three-client freelancer maps onto RecurPost’s default workflow directly. The contract writer drafts in the Writing column under the Contributor role and sees only their own posts. The account manager clears Manager Review inside 48 hours, or RecurPost escalates the post. Each client signs off from the shared calendar inside 72 hours, or RecurPost moves that post one day later.

RecurPost does not fit a reader who needs external client sign-off at Postfity’s One price point of $20 per month. RecurPost places client workspaces and the client approval workflow on the Agency plan at $79 per month, with 20 social accounts, 3 users and white-label reports included. RecurPost’s yearly billing gives two months free. RecurPost’s plans and pricing page lists every add-on with its category and unit price.

You Want Analytics and Reports Past Basic

Closest fitMetricool on budget, Vista Social for scheduled client delivery
Metricool fits whenBudget analytics, ads management and competitor tracking decide the switch
Vista Social fits whenOne report has to arrive automatically every month and carry metrics you picked yourself
RecurPost fits whenClient-facing custom reports matter more than benchmarking or building ad campaigns from scratch

Metricool bundles reporting, publishing and ads management into one subscription. Metricool’s free plan covers 1 brand with up to 20 posts per month, without X or LinkedIn publishing. Metricool’s Starter plan covers 5 brands at $25 per month, or 10 brands at $45, with unlimited publishing. Metricool includes Google Business Profile on every tier, runs ads management in the same dashboard, and tracks competitors to 100 profiles. One Metricool brand holds one client’s whole profile set, so 10 brands means 10 clients.

Vista Social competes at a higher price with a custom report builder, white-label reports, competitor comparison and scheduled client delivery, starting at $79 per month for 15 profiles.

RecurPost’s Custom Reports builder assembles 200+ metrics across 10 platforms into white-label PDF client reports. RecurPost ships 58 report templates and 11 chart types in a drag-and-drop builder. RecurPost’s reports carry Meta ads metrics and Google Business Profile reviews. RecurPost downloads each report as a PDF or emails it to up to 25 recipients, and RecurPost’s Chat with Reports AI answers questions about what a report shows.

An agency sending five monthly white-label PDFs to five client contacts stays inside RecurPost’s 25-recipient email ceiling. That agency then picks a delivery route, because no single RecurPost report does both jobs: Custom Reports builds the PDF from chosen metrics and sends it on demand, while the standard workspace report is the automated one, emailed weekly or monthly on a day you pick with its sections fixed. RecurPost also offers no competitor benchmarking, and RecurPost’s paid ads work boosts published Facebook and Instagram posts, with budget, audience and duration set inside RecurPost and billing running through the connected Meta ad account, rather than building ad campaigns from scratch or running Google, LinkedIn or TikTok ads. A benchmarking-led buyer, or an agency that builds ad campaigns from scratch, belongs on Metricool, and a buyer who needs automatic monthly delivery belongs on Vista Social.

You Sell Social Listening and Sentiment Reports

Closest fitSprout Social or Hootsuite at enterprise budgets, Agorapulse for less
Sprout Social fits whenListening sits alongside multi-step, multi-role approvals
Agorapulse fits whenListening plus per-user and per-profile roles matter more than scale
Vista Social fits whenListening across review sites belongs in the same tool as publishing
RecurPost does not fitRecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis at any price

Sprout Social’s Standard plan runs $199 per seat per month, and Sprout Social sells social listening as an add-on from Standard upward. Sprout Social also runs multi-step, multi-role approval workflows.

Hootsuite runs $99 to $399 per user per month on annual billing, with listening in its higher tiers. Agorapulse covers listening at a lower per-user price, and Agorapulse pairs it with four organization roles plus four profile-level roles. Vista Social sells listening as a $75 per month add-on across 18 sources including review sites.

Postfity markets a Social Media Listening tool and sentiment analysis inside the Simplified suite, and postfity.com publishes no source count for either. In the delivered product the Streams view only shows messages, comments, mentions, reviews and tags from accounts already connected, so it does not track keywords across public conversations.

RecurPost does not compete in this group. RecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis, so an agency that sells listening reports budgets for Sprout Social at $199 per seat per month, Hootsuite at $99 to $399 per user per month, Agorapulse at its lower per-user price, or Vista Social’s $75 per month listening add-on.

Where RecurPost Falls Short for a Postfity Team

RecurPost’s gaps deserve the same bluntness as Postfity’s.

  • RecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis. Agorapulse and Sprout Social sell both.
  • RecurPost offers no competitor benchmarking. Metricool tracks competitors to 100 profiles from $25 per month.
  • RecurPost includes 1 user on Starter and Personal and 3 users on Agency, and RecurPost charges $20 per month for each named member past those. HeyOrca includes unlimited users in every paid workspace, so a large team on a small roster pays less there.
  • RecurPost places client workspaces and the client approval workflow on the $79 Agency plan. A reader who needs external client sign-off cannot get it at Postfity’s Pro price point.
  • RecurPost’s Custom Reports do not deliver on a schedule, and the workspace report that does deliver weekly or monthly has fixed sections. Vista Social schedules a custom-built report, from $79 per month.
  • RecurPost’s interface is utilitarian. It handles large client rosters fine and wins no design awards doing it.
  • RecurPost does not publish to Snapchat, Mastodon, Telegram or WhatsApp Business, it lists Reddit as coming soon, and RecurPost has no link-in-bio product. Vista Social covers Snapchat and Reddit, and Postfity covers Mastodon, Reddit, Telegram and WhatsApp Business plus the simple.bio link-in-bio tool.
  • RecurPost publishes X posts beyond 280 characters only when the client holds their own X Premium subscription.
  • RecurPost ships no AI copywriting and design suite of the kind Simplified bundles with Postfity.

Teams that switched anyway did it for platform coverage and the approval chain. The RecurPost case studies show which rosters made that trade and why.

The Pricing Math, Both Ways

Want the numbers for your own roster? The social media tool pricing calculator prices 36 schedulers, including Postfity, for your profiles, seats, clients and must-have features, with the arithmetic shown.

Nobody should assume leaving Postfity saves money. Postfity One holds 7 accounts for $20 on annual billing, and the table below prices that bundle against each alternative.

Sources: Postfity, Buffer, Metricool, and HeyOrca pricing pages. Postfity plan prices verified September 19, 2026; Buffer, Metricool and HeyOrca verified July 16, 2026. The Postfity rows use annual-billing rates, so month-to-month totals run higher ($29.99 for One, $119.99 for Growth). RecurPost plans verified September 15, 2026.

Run the math in both directions.

A seven-account solo user stays cheapest on Postfity. Postfity One costs $20 per month on annual billing ($29.99 monthly). RecurPost needs Personal at $25 plus two $4 add-on accounts to reach 7, which totals $33. Buffer Essentials reaches 7 channels at $42. Postfity holds that scenario by $13 a month against its nearest rival, provided no account on the roster is an X account.

The same solo user with one approval-hungry client changes the math. Postfity includes external client review in Growth at $85 per month on annual billing. RecurPost requires Agency at $79 per month, which covers 20 social accounts, 3 users, client workspaces, the approval workflow with acting stage deadlines, and white-label reports. RecurPost’s Agency plan costs $46 more than that reader’s current $33 configuration and $6 less than Postfity’s Growth tier, and it carries three account types Postfity does not publish to.

A 30-account agency with 5 users reads differently again. Postfity Growth covers that roster for $85 on annual billing ($119.99 monthly). RecurPost Agency needs $79 plus ten $4 add-on accounts plus two extra $20 members, which totals $159. Postfity costs $74 a month less at that exact shape on annual billing, and $39 a month less on monthly billing, so the switch has to earn its price. RecurPost’s extra cost buys what Postfity’s Growth plan does not:

  • RecurPost publishes to X, Facebook Groups and Facebook personal profiles.
  • RecurPost surfaces 850+ documented platform error types with reasons.
  • RecurPost assigns roles per workspace, so one person can hold different access per client.
  • RecurPost acts on a missed approval deadline by holding, auto-approving, escalating or rescheduling the post.
  • RecurPost stores reusable posts in content libraries tied to recurring time slots, and one slot now applies to several days and several social accounts in a single action. Postfity has no library of reusable posts at all.
  • RecurPost automates Instagram direct messages from comment keywords, adds a clickable button to the message, and can hold the message until the commenter follows the account. Postfity automates no direct messages.
  • RecurPost imports posts from RSS feeds and stages every item for approval before it reaches a library. Postfity has no RSS importer.

The same 30 channels on Buffer’s Team plan cost $360 per month, which keeps Buffer in the solo group.

When Staying on Postfity Is the Right Call

Postfity keeps four things nobody on this page replaces:

  1. Postfity publishes to Mastodon, Reddit, Telegram and WhatsApp Business. No alternative in this guide covers Telegram or WhatsApp Business, so a roster built on either has no exit that keeps it automated.
  2. Postfity bundles Simplified’s AI copywriting, templates, video, audio and design suite from $20 per month, which no scheduler-only rival matches at the price.
  3. Postfity’s Growth ratio of 30 accounts and 5 users for $85 undercuts RecurPost’s $159 and Buffer’s $360 at that exact scale.
  4. Postfity includes simple.bio, a link-in-bio tool, and a free plan that carries 3 social accounts with no time limit.

A solo marketer whose roster fits inside Postfity’s 13 networks, with no X account among them, and who wants the AI creation tools should stay. Switching would trade working creation features for platform coverage that roster does not use.

Where RecurPost Fits, and Where It Does Not

RecurPost fits the roster that broke Postfity’s One plan. The three-client freelancer from the top of this page lands on RecurPost for these reasons:

  • RecurPost publishes the X client’s posts natively, and covers Facebook Groups and Facebook personal profiles by push notification.
  • RecurPost holds the approval-hungry client’s review inside a client workspace on the Agency plan at $79 per month.
  • RecurPost invites every client by email or link, so nobody shares a password.
  • RecurPost surfaces 850+ documented post-failure types with reasons, so a rejected Google Business Profile post shows up with an explanation instead of disappearing.
  • RecurPost carries the volume work with bulk CSV uploads, RSS and Google Alerts import, and a content library per client on recurring time slots that apply to several days and accounts at once.
  • RecurPost automates the Instagram lead client’s direct messages from comment keywords, with a clickable button on the message.

RecurPost does not fit Telegram or WhatsApp Business rosters, or listening-driven agencies. RecurPost also does not fit a buyer whose real want is Simplified’s AI design suite, or a team that needs external client sign-off at Postfity’s One price point. Those buyers have better answers in the groups above.

The RecurPost vs Postfity comparison walks both tools feature by feature when Postfity is the only other candidate.

Moving Off Postfity

Postfity’s scheduled posts do not follow you anywhere, so plan the move in five steps:

  1. Copy captions and download media from the Postfity calendar before the subscription lapses.
  2. Reconnect every network in the new tool first, and confirm each connection publishes before moving the calendar.
  3. Rebuild the review chain as workflow stages before inviting anyone, because RecurPost’s stages are configured once for the whole account.
  4. Assign a role per workspace, then name an Account Manager for each client.
  5. Import the last six months of published content from each connected account, which recreates a working content library without CSV formatting.

A seven-account roster moves in an afternoon once the connections hold. A three-client writer, manager and client chain goes live the same day, because the stages exist before the first invite goes out.

Postfity Alternatives FAQs

Which Postfity Alternative Fits Which Roster?

No single tool fits every Postfity roster, so match the tool to the gap that is moving you. Buffer fits when the plainest scheduler matters most, and Publer fits when bulk volume is the whole job. RecurPost fits when clients publish to X, Facebook Groups or Facebook personal profiles, when internal review and client sign-off run in one chain, and when the roster fits Agency at $79 per month. Vista Social fits a Snapchat or Reddit roster, and HeyOrca fits a no-X roster that sells the review experience. Metricool fits a budget analytics or ads-led switch, and Sprout Social, Hootsuite or Agorapulse fit an agency that sells listening and sentiment reports. Postfity stays the right call for a Telegram or WhatsApp Business roster, or for a solo marketer who wants the Simplified AI creation tools.

Is Postfity Still a Standalone Tool?

Postfity now operates as part of Simplified’s Social Media AI. The Go to App button on postfity.com opens app.simplified.com, and a new account lands in the Simplified dashboard with Simplified branding, Simplified plan names and a mobile app called Simplified AI. Postfity’s pricing page sells a free plan with 3 social accounts, One at $20 per month with 7 accounts and 1 user, Growth at $85 per month with 30 accounts and 5 users, and Enterprise listed at $399 per month with 10 seats and sold through sales. Those are annual-billing rates; One costs $29.99 and Growth $119.99 billed monthly.

Which Postfity Alternatives Publish to X?

RecurPost, Buffer and Publer publish to X directly. Metricool and Vista Social publish to X as a paid add-on. HeyOrca does not publish to X at all. Postfity reaches 13 networks, and X is not one of them, so an X client is the clearest reason to leave. RecurPost, Metricool, Vista Social and HeyOrca also publish to TikTok and full YouTube videos, which Postfity covers too.

What Does Postfity Cost in 2026?

Postfity’s pricing page lists a free plan and three paid Social Media AI plans, priced on annual billing. The free plan carries 3 social accounts and limited AI credits. One costs $20 per month with 7 social accounts, 1 user and 1 Brandbook. Growth costs $85 with 30 accounts, 5 users, 3 Brandbooks and external client approval. Enterprise is listed at $399 with 10 seats and sold through sales. Billed monthly, One costs $29.99 and Growth $119.99. Four add-ons price separately: an extra social account at $5 per month, an extra user at $10, Bulk Post Scheduling at $19 and each extra AI Brandbook at $35.

Is There a Free Postfity Alternative?

Buffer’s free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel. Metricool’s free plan manages 1 brand with up to 20 posts per month, without X or LinkedIn publishing. HeyOrca offers a free single workspace with 2 profiles and 15 scheduled posts per month, without approvals. RecurPost has no free plan, and RecurPost runs a 14-day free trial with no credit card instead. Each free plan fits a single-brand test rather than a client roster.

Where Do Client Approvals Start Across Postfity Alternatives?

RecurPost’s client approval workflow arrives with the Agency plan at $79 per month, inside client workspaces. HeyOrca includes unlimited approvals from its $50 Basic workspace. Vista Social includes approvals in its $79 Professional plan. Buffer requires the Team plan at $12 per channel, Metricool requires Advanced at $67, and Postfity includes it in Growth at $85. Sendible’s Client Connect onboarding starts on the $99 Plus plan.

Which Postfity Alternative Is Cheapest for a Solo User?

Buffer’s free plan covers 3 channels at no cost, and Buffer Essentials costs $6 per channel per month after that. RecurPost Starter covers 2 accounts for $9 per month with the full scheduler included. Publer prices at roughly $5 to $10 per account. At exactly 7 accounts, Postfity’s own One plan at $20 on annual billing undercuts all three, and Postfity’s free plan covers 3 accounts at no cost.

Do Any Postfity Alternatives Publish to VKontakte?

No tool this page names publishes to VKontakte, and neither does Postfity any more. postfity.com still advertises a VKontakte Scheduler, but a new account opens in the Simplified app, which does not connect VKontakte at all. A roster that depends on VK runs it by hand alongside whichever scheduler it picks.

Does RecurPost Have Team Roles and Permissions for Each Client?

RecurPost has team roles and permissions, and assigns them per client workspace. RecurPost ships the Contributor, Writer, Editor and Publisher role templates, and the account owner can build a custom role by ticking individual permissions. RecurPost assigns each role per workspace, so one person can hold different access for different clients. Roles and approvals are common in this category, and Metricool, Publer, HeyOrca, Vista Social and Sprout Social all ship their own versions.

Which Apps Like Postfity Fit an Agency Team With Roles per Client?

RecurPost assigns each role per workspace, so one person holds the Writer role for one client, the Editor role for a second, and no access to a third. RecurPost also names an Account Manager in each workspace as a guaranteed second approver, and RecurPost logs every approve-on-behalf. Publer ships Admin, Editor and Client roles, and Publer sets approval per member. Metricool ships five preset roles plus custom roles, and Metricool’s Client role approves or rejects posts. HeyOrca pairs a Workspace Owner with External Admin, Copywriter and Stakeholder roles, and HeyOrca includes unlimited users in every paid workspace. Vista Social sets roles and permissions per user. Postfity grants an invited user access product by product, across Social Media, AI Writer, Videos, Chatbot, Link in Bio, Project Management and Graphics Design, with an Admin, Member or Guest role on each and no custom roles. Postfity’s One plan at $20 includes one user and charges $10 per month for each extra one.

What Happens When a Client Does Not Review a Post in Time?

RecurPost applies the rule the account owner set for that stage. RecurPost can hold the post, approve it automatically, escalate it or reschedule it. RecurPost’s default Client Review stage waits 72 hours and then moves the post one day later. RecurPost also warns the assigned role at 50 percent and 80 percent of the stage clock, and again when the stage runs over.

Can a Client Sign Off on Posts Without a Login?

A client signs off on posts in RecurPost without logging in. The client opens the shareable calendar, then approves each post or requests changes with one button. A change request sends the post back to the writing stage with the client’s comments.
