Social Media Calendar to Plan Every Client’s Posts
RecurPost’s social media calendar puts every client’s scheduled, published, failed, and draft posts across the client profiles you select, on one screen. Agencies and freelancers run 5 to 20 or more client accounts across different platforms. One missed post shows up as a gap the client notices. RecurPost’s calendar displays Month, Week, List, and Instagram Grid views. You can drag posts to new times, set each account’s timezone, and retry failed posts in one click. The calendar is one part of how RecurPost handles scheduling and recycling.

See Every Client’s Posts in One Calendar
RecurPost’s calendar displays scheduled, published, failed, and draft posts for every client account on one screen. Three dedicated tabs organize that view: Queue, History, and Drafts. The Month, Week, List, and Instagram Grid views belong to the Queue, so they show scheduled posts. Published and failed posts appear in History, and unscheduled posts stay in Drafts.
Queue
Lists upcoming posts in publishing order, giving you a clear view of what is scheduled next.
History
Records published and failed posts, including the reason for any publishing failure.
Drafts
Stores posts that you have saved but have not yet scheduled.
RecurPost also provides specialized calendar views to help you plan and review visual content. The Instagram Grid view previews the feed layout before a post publishes, so you fix visual mismatches without leaving RecurPost. The Instagram grid calendar covers that view in full.
The Library Calendar extends visibility up to 2 months ahead, so you can review upcoming scheduled posts in a single view.
The Libraries page has a view switch of its own. A List/Grid toggle flips your content libraries between a compact list, which is faster for scanning captions and scheduled slots, and a grid of thumbnails, which is faster for spotting the image you half-remember. The toggle changes only how the library is displayed; it does not change what is scheduled.

The left panel filters the calendar by social profile, profile group, or content library. This is useful for agencies managing multiple client accounts. For example, an agency managing 18 client accounts across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn can open the Month view and filter it to a specific client. This makes double-booked slots and empty dates easy to identify, reducing the need for a manual spreadsheet audit.
Once you identify a scheduling conflict, you can simply drag a post to a new date, and its schedule updates instantly without opening the editor.

Keep Each Client Separate With Workspaces and Library Filters
RecurPost gives each client its own workspace. A workspace isolates that client’s connected accounts, content library, and calendar. Therefore, Client A’s posts never show inside Client B’s workspace, which matters when you handle competing brands.
RecurPost’s library filters narrow the calendar to one content category or campaign. A freelancer with 6 clients can filter the calendar to the Promotions library. This makes it easy to check whether the campaign posts are spaced across the month, rather than stacked on a single day.
RecurPost’s workspaces fit agencies and freelancers who juggle multiple brands. A single brand with one calendar gains little from workspace separation.

Drag Posts to New Times and Pause a Schedule
RecurPost supports drag-and-drop rescheduling inside the Monthly and Weekly calendar views. You click, hold, and move a post to a new date, and the schedule updates automatically. Dragging changes the date without opening the post editor.
For any queued post opened from the calendar for edits, you are allowed to change the caption, image, description, or posting time before the post publishes. A built-in tool crops, resizes, or adjusts images before posting.
Edits made on the Queue stay separate from the library version of the post. This separation keeps scheduled edits from affecting the original recurring content. The original evergreen copy continues to recycle unchanged.
Pause Queue suspends every scheduled post in one click. You resume manually or set a resume date while pausing. Thus, posting restarts on that date without further action. Individual social profiles also pause and resume from the Social Profiles page. This isolates one client during a crisis, such as a product recall or a PR incident. You pause the affected client’s profiles, and the remaining portfolio publishes on schedule.

Post Each Client at the Right Local Time
RecurPost assigns a timezone to each connected social account, not to the user. Therefore, posts are published according to the local time zone of each client’s account. For example, an agency managing clients in the US, the EU, and Australia sets each account to its own zone. A post scheduled for 9 a.m. will then go live at 9 a.m. in each client’s respective time zone, all managed from one dashboard.
When you schedule a post for later, RecurPost also offers Auto-schedule for the best time, which picks the best time on the date you select. You apply that slot directly instead of manually reviewing native platform insights for every account.
Per-account time zones matter most across multi-region portfolios. A solo operator in a single timezone gains little from them.

Catch a Failed Post Before Your Client Does
RecurPost reports every failed post in the History tab and names the exact reason for failure. For example, a Tweet that exceeds the 280-character limit appears in History with that explanation attached. This helps you to correct the caption and republish with Retry Now or Edit and Retry in one click.
The Queue tab covers the other direction, like preview, edit, delete, or publish any upcoming post before its scheduled time.
Furthermore, a generic failed label without a cause leaves the agency guessing and the client waiting. RecurPost catalogs more than 850 documented platform error types, including expired access tokens, image dimension mismatches, and GBP rejections. Failed posts can be retried from the History view. Google Business Profile sometimes accepts a post and rejects it hours later, and a rejection like that appears as a failed post in History.

Send the Calendar Out for Client Review
RecurPost generates a view-only link to the content calendar for clients. The client opens the link in a browser, with no account, no password, and no seat added to your plan. The shared calendar covers what the client sees, per-account scoping, comments versus the approval workflow, and agency branding.
The shared calendar is view-only, and clients can leave comments on it without a user seat or an account. Those comments are advisory. Formal sign-off runs through the approval workflow, where a content draft moves to approval and then becomes a scheduled post once a reviewer clears it. RecurPost pricing holds the current plan limits and add-ons.
Shareable calendars fit client-facing agencies whose clients want to see the plan and comment on it. Agencies that need sign-off before posts publish use the approval workflow instead. For solo operators who do not work with external stakeholders, this feature may offer limited value.

How the Calendar Fits Your Publishing Workflow
The social media content calendar plans and schedules content across selected client profiles. RecurPost’s calendar is the visibility layer over your automated publishing. Drafts move into the queue. The queue publishes on schedule. RecurPost’s calendar shows all of it in one view, so you can plan and adjust before posts go out. RecurPost Social Media Calendar FAQs
What Is the Social Media Calendar in RecurPost?
RecurPost’s social media calendar is a single view of every scheduled, published, failed, and draft post across your connected accounts. Queue, History, and Drafts tabs separate them, and the Queue offers Month, Week, List, and Instagram Grid views up to two months ahead.
Can I See All My Clients’ Posts in One Calendar?
RecurPost shows all your clients’ posts in one calendar, and you can filter by social profile, profile group, or content library. Each client sits in its own workspace, and inside it you view one profile at a time or scan the whole plan.
Can I Reschedule a Post by Dragging It?
RecurPost lets you drag and drop a post to a new time inside Month and Week views. You can move or reorder posts without reopening the composer, and you can pause a client’s whole schedule with a resume date.
Does the Calendar Handle Different Client Time Zones?
RecurPost sets the timezone per social account, so each client posts in its own local time. An agency with US, EU, and Australian clients schedules a 9 a.m. slot, which means 9 a.m. local for every account.
What Happens When a Scheduled Post Fails?
RecurPost flags a failed post in history and names the exact reason, drawing on more than 850 documented platform errors. You fix the issue and retry the post in one click, so a failure does not sit silently in the queue.
Can a Client See the Calendar Without a Login?
RecurPost gives clients a view-only calendar link with optional comments, and the client needs no login. The client reviews the plan and leaves feedback without a password or a paid seat. Formal approval runs through the approval workflow instead.
