Loomly alternatives split by the gap that pushes a team off Loomly. Loomly bundles social accounts and user seats together in two widely spaced plans, and each gap in that bundle points to a different replacement. The groups below match each Loomly gap to the tools that close it, and every group also says where RecurPost fits and where it does not.

Every Loomly alternative in that table misses somewhere, and the groups below show where. Loomly alternatives are social media management platforms that replace some mix of Loomly’s publishing, post-mockup approval, and bulk-scheduling workflows. You can also see the alternatives at a glance first.

Why Teams Leave Loomly

Loomly built a polished post-mockup and approval experience and then priced it in two widely spaced bundles. The Loomly gaps below drive most departures.

Loomly’s plan structure has no middle. Loomly Starter covers 12 social accounts and 3 users at $65 per month ($49 on annual billing). Loomly Beyond covers 60 accounts and unlimited users at $332 ($249 annual). Loomly documents no per-account and no per-user add-ons, so a roster of 13 accounts pays for 60.

Loomly does not publish to X (Twitter) on any plan. Loomly’s integrations page lists nine networks:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • TikTok
  • YouTube
  • Threads
  • Pinterest
  • Google Business Profile
  • Snapchat

X is absent from that list. Any client with an active X presence needs a second tool alongside Loomly or a different scheduler.

Loomly holds its automation features on the Beyond plan. Loomly puts bulk posting, recurring posts, custom roles, and the hashtag manager at $332 per month. Loomly’s recurring posts still need manual setup for each individual post once you get there. Loomly’s library stores photos, videos, and templates. Loomly does not schedule from that library.

Loomly’s custom roles sit on that same $332 plan. Access control is therefore a pricing question on Loomly rather than a feature question, which is why the roles group below exists.

Loomly caps social listening at 1 report per month on Starter and 4 per month on Beyond. A team selling listening insights to clients cannot run a practice on that quota.

Loomly’s annual discount carries a lock. Loomly’s pricing page states that the 25 percent yearly plan cannot be terminated early. Loomly’s trial runs 7 days, so evaluation time is short before that commitment question arrives.

Loomly’s Starter seat count stops at 3 users. A growing agency adding a fourth reviewer faces the same $332 jump as the account cap, because Loomly raises the seat limit and the account limit on the same plan.

A team of 3 running 12 or fewer accounts with no X clients has a weaker case for leaving. Loomly’s mockups, approval workflow, and Snapchat publishing hold real value at $65. The staying-on-Loomly section below covers that case honestly.

What a Loomly Alternative Has to Cover

Loomly prices in account-plus-user bundles, and that unit hides the real comparison. Loomly Starter works out to about $5.40 per account with all 12 slots filled. A 13-account roster on Loomly Beyond pays about $25.50 per account until the roster grows into the plan. Most Loomly alternatives price per account, per channel, per brand, or per seat instead. Count your accounts and your people separately before comparing anything.

Run six checks against that roster:

  1. Confirm the platforms your clients actually use, starting with X. Loomly skips X entirely, and HeyOrca dropped direct X publishing in April 2026.
  2. Find the tier that includes bulk CSV upload and RSS import. Loomly holds both on the $332 Beyond plan, and several rivals gate them too.
  3. Check what a fourth and fifth user cost. Per-seat tools multiply fast, and Loomly sells nothing between 3 users and unlimited.
  4. Check where each tool separates who drafts, who reviews, and who publishes. Loomly keeps custom roles on Beyond, so access control moves with the price.
  5. Price the loaded cost, meaning the base plan plus every add-on your roster forces. Vista Social’s $79 plan becomes $108 once X publishing joins.
  6. Read the contract terms before taking an annual discount. Loomly’s yearly plan cannot be terminated early, and its trial runs 7 days against 14 or more elsewhere.

Loomly, RecurPost, Metricool, Vista Social, and Publer answer the first, third, and fourth checks in the table below.

RecurPost’s directory of social media scheduling alternatives covers 40+ tools against its own five comparison dimensions. The groups below run the six Loomly checks above instead.

Loomly Alternatives by Switching Trigger

You Hit the 12-Account Cap

Closest fitRecurPost for 13 to roughly 40 accounts, or Metricool for 10 or fewer client brands
RecurPost fits whenThe roster runs past 12 accounts and each account needs its own publishing
Metricool fits whenAccounts fold into 10 or fewer client brands and analytics matter more than X
Loomly Beyond still fits when60 accounts and 10 or more users make unlimited seats at $332 the cheaper bundle
Price scenario13-account roster: RecurPost Agency $79/mo against Loomly Beyond $332/mo

RecurPost’s Agency plan covers 20 social accounts for $79 per month with 3 team members included, and RecurPost charges $4 per month for each account past 20. A 13-account roster pays $79 on RecurPost against $332 on Loomly Beyond. RecurPost prices per social account at every size, so account 21 costs the same $4 as account 41 and the curve has no cliff. RecurPost lists each plan’s account limit and the per-account add-on on its RecurPost pricing page.

Metricool prices by brand instead, and one Metricool brand holds one client’s whole profile set. Metricool’s Starter plan covers 5 brands at $25 per month or 10 brands at $45, the lowest published per-brand price on this page, which suits accounts that cluster into a handful of clients. Metricool sells X publishing as a paid add-on.

Vista Social reaches 15 profiles at $79 and 30 at $149. Vista Social’s listening and review management explain the steeper curve.

RecurPost fits a 13-account to roughly 40-account roster that needs every account published separately. RecurPost does not fit a roster that folds into 10 or fewer client brands with no X accounts, where Metricool costs less. A 60-account operation with 10 or more users should price Loomly Beyond honestly before leaving, because unlimited seats at $332 holds up at that scale.

Your Clients Post on X (Twitter)

Closest fitRecurPost, or Buffer for a small channel count
RecurPost fits whenAgency scale needs X publishing included and the link fee covered
Buffer fits whenX is one of only a few channels and nobody needs client approvals
HeyOrca does not fitHeyOrca dropped direct X publishing in April 2026

RecurPost publishes to X on every paid plan. RecurPost runs an X Wallet, funded by the account, that pays X’s $0.20 per-link posting fee, so agencies keep posting link content without setting up API billing per client. RecurPost publishes X posts past 280 characters only when the client holds their own X Premium subscription, which is worth knowing before migrating a long-form X account.

Buffer and Publer both publish to X on standard paid plans. Vista Social restores X for $29 per month on top of its $79 plan, and Metricool sells X as a paid add-on from its Starter tier. HeyOrca does not fix this trigger at all, because HeyOrca dropped direct X publishing in April 2026.

RecurPost fits any roster with an active X account that posts daily. RecurPost is not the deciding factor for a team that posts to X a few times a month, because that team can live with a second tool.

Bulk Posting Sits on the $332 Plan

Closest fitRecurPost at agency volume, or Publer at small scale
RecurPost fits whenAgency volume needs bulk CSV, RSS import, and per-client libraries below a top tier
Publer fits whenA small roster wants volume tools without an agency plan
SocialBee fits whenCategory-based recycling is the whole reason to switch

RecurPost takes CSV bulk uploads of hundreds of posts. RecurPost also imports content from RSS feeds and Google Alerts, keeps a separate content library for each client, and runs recurring content libraries as a bonus on top of core scheduling. RecurPost includes all of that on standard paid plans rather than a top tier. Loomly puts bulk posting and recurring posts on Beyond at $332, and Loomly’s recurring posts still need manual setup per post.

A 200-post seasonal calendar for six clients shows the difference. RecurPost loads that calendar from one CSV file on a $9 plan. Loomly loads it post by post until the agency pays $332.

Publer handles bulk work at roughly $5 to $10 per account per month, which suits small rosters that want volume tools without an agency plan. SocialBee built its whole product around category-based content recycling. SocialBee starts at $29 per month, with approvals and CSV import arriving at $49. SocialBee is the closer fit when a recycling library is the centerpiece rather than a bonus.

You Want Simpler and Cheaper Than $65

Closest fitBuffer
Buffer fits whenUnder roughly 10 channels with no client sign-off step
RecurPost fits whenA small roster still needs X publishing, error reporting, and team roles
Loomly’s floorLoomly has no plan under $65 per month

Buffer’s free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel. Buffer Essentials costs $6 per channel per month on monthly billing ($5 annual) with unlimited scheduling. Buffer publishes to X, Google Business Profile, Threads, and Bluesky. Loomly sells nothing under $65 monthly, so a solo freelancer on 4 accounts saves real money by downshifting.

Buffer’s simplicity has hard edges. Buffer requires account credentials at connection and offers no password-free client invite. Buffer surfaces no error when a post fails, so the post just does not go out and you find out manually. Buffer puts approval workflows only on the Team plan at $12 per channel per month, so a 12-channel roster with approvals costs $144, more than double Loomly Starter.

RecurPost Starter covers 2 accounts at $9 per month and RecurPost Personal covers 5 accounts at $25. Both plans include the full scheduler, team roles and permissions, and the Kanban board. RecurPost charges $20 per month for each extra member on either plan. RecurPost puts client workspaces and the approval workflow on the Agency plan at $79 per month, so a downshift below that price keeps the roles but not the client sign-off chain.

Buffer fits anyone under roughly 10 channels who needs no client sign-off step. Buffer does not fit an agency at 12 channels that needs approvals, and its silent post failures hand agencies back to the other groups.

Your Team Passed Three Users

Closest fitRecurPost or HeyOrca
RecurPost fits whenMixed rosters need X, bulk tools, and a fourth seat at $20 per month
HeyOrca fits whenClient-services teams have zero X clients
Loomly Beyond still fits when10 or more seats across 40 or more accounts make unlimited users at $332 the lower monthly total

RecurPost’s Agency plan includes 3 team members and prices each extra member at a flat $20 per month, so a fourth reviewer costs $20 rather than a plan jump. RecurPost onboards each client without passwords: the client receives an email or link invite, connects their own accounts, and never shares credentials. RecurPost gives each client a separate workspace on the Agency plan at $79 per month, which is also where RecurPost’s approval workflow lives.

Sendible matches that onboarding with Client Connect, which handles password-free client connection the same way. Sendible starts at $29 per month with Client Connect from $99, and Sendible’s per-plan value thins toward 20 or more accounts.

HeyOrca builds its whole product around the client review round. HeyOrca prices per client workspace at $59 and $149. HeyOrca lacks direct X publishing, which sends X-carrying rosters back to the second group.

Loomly Beyond deserves a fair hearing here. Loomly Beyond’s unlimited users at $332 costs less than every per-seat rival at high headcount. Ten users on Agorapulse cost $990 per month, and the same 10 users on Loomly Beyond cost $332 flat.

RecurPost fits a mixed roster that needs X, bulk tools, and one more seat at $20. RecurPost does not fit a 10-seat team already running 40 or more accounts, where Loomly Beyond is the answer rather than the problem.

Custom Roles and an Approval Trail Sit on the $332 Plan

Closest fitRecurPost for team roles below $332 and staged client approvals on Agency
RecurPost fits whenAccess has to differ by person and by client, a sign-off deadline has to act on its own, and the roster also needs X publishing
Loomly still fits whenThe review runs inside a branded platform on your own subdomain, or per-platform mockups decide the sign-off
Metricool or Publer fit whenA small roster needs preset roles and a client approve or reject step at a lower price

Loomly ships real collaboration depth, and this group is about where it sits in the price list rather than whether it exists. Loomly grants or restricts access with role-based permissions for clients and collaborators, sets custom user permissions for each workspace, and automates assignment with assignment rules. Loomly builds multi-tier approval workflows from presets or from scratch. Loomly notifies reviewers for one post or a full calendar. Loomly keeps comments private to the team until you toggle them public, and Loomly pushes notifications into Slack and Microsoft Teams. Loomly holds custom roles and assignment workflows on Beyond at $332 per month.

Several Loomly alternatives ship roles and approval workflows, so this group is a price and behavior question rather than a presence question. Metricool ships five preset roles plus custom roles, and Metricool’s Client role approves or rejects posts. Publer assigns Admin, Editor, and Client roles and sets approval per member. Vista Social routes multi-step approvals in a set order and shows a Kanban Board view inside Vista Work projects. Planable and Sked Social both run Kanban-style approval boards. RecurPost’s difference sits in what happens to a post when a review stage runs out of time.

RecurPost runs approvals as a staged workflow on a Kanban board. The account owner sets the stages up once for the whole account, because an agency’s review process stays the same from one client to the next. Each RecurPost post then moves across the board as a card with an assignee, labels, and a media preview. RecurPost bookends the board with an Ideas column and a Scheduled column. RecurPost’s default workflow chains four steps:

  1. A writer drafts the post in the Writing stage.
  2. A manager reviews the post in the Manager Review stage within 48 hours, or RecurPost escalates it.
  3. The client approves the post in the Client Review stage within 72 hours, or RecurPost moves the post one day later.
  4. A client who requests changes sends the post back to Writing with their comments.

RecurPost lets the account owner rename, add, and remove stages. Each RecurPost stage is a work stage, an internal review stage, or a client review stage. RecurPost sets each stage’s timeout at 4, 8, 24, 48, or 72 hours, or at 7 days. RecurPost warns the assigned role at 50 percent and 80 percent of that timeout and again when the stage is overdue. RecurPost then applies the rule the owner picked for that stage:

  1. RecurPost holds the post in its stage until someone acts.
  2. RecurPost approves the post automatically and moves it on.
  3. RecurPost escalates the post to the next approver.
  4. RecurPost reschedules the post, so a late client review never publishes on the wrong day.

RecurPost’s reschedule rule matters most at the client review stage. A client who goes quiet on a Friday launch post triggers that rule, and RecurPost moves the post to the next day instead of publishing it unapproved.

RecurPost controls who acts at each stage through roles. RecurPost starts every account with role templates:

RecurPost roleWhat the role can do
ContributorWrite their own drafts and send them for review, with no access to other people’s posts or approvals
WriterWrite and edit posts, manage the content library, and reply in the inbox
EditorApprove posts at internal review stages, edit anyone’s work, and manage the inbox
PublisherPublish and schedule, handle client approvals, export reports, and manage the team

RecurPost also lets the owner edit a template or build a custom role by ticking individual permissions. RecurPost’s permission sections cover posts, approvals and publishing, social profiles, the content library, the inbox, reports, DM automations, paid ads, client review, and workspace and team settings. Turning off a section such as Paid ads hides that page from the member’s sidebar entirely. A member who tries a blocked action sees the exact permission to ask the workspace owner for.

RecurPost assigns roles per workspace, so one person can hold different roles for different clients. A freelancer can be a Writer for one client, an Editor for a second, and have no access to a third. RecurPost also names an Account Manager for each workspace. RecurPost’s Account Manager is a guaranteed second approver and can approve on the client’s behalf, and RecurPost logs every approve-on-behalf.

RecurPost sends each role only the alerts for stages that role works in, by email and in the mobile app:

  • RecurPost alerts a member when a post is assigned to them.
  • RecurPost alerts approvers when posts are waiting for their review.
  • RecurPost alerts the writer when a post is approved or sent back with changes.
  • RecurPost alerts the assigned role as a stage nears or misses its timeout.
  • RecurPost alerts the team when a client approves, rejects, or receives an urgent approval request.
  • RecurPost alerts the team on publish success, publish failure, and accounts needing a reconnect.

A six-client agency maps onto that workflow directly. A freelance writer holds the Writer role only in the workspaces they cover. The account manager clears Manager Review from the board inside 48 hours, or RecurPost escalates the post. Each client opens RecurPost’s shareable calendar without logging in and approves each post or requests changes with one button, and RecurPost reschedules anything still unanswered after 72 hours.

RecurPost includes roles, permissions, and the Kanban board on every plan, starting with the $9 Starter plan. RecurPost includes client workspaces and the internal and external approval workflow on the Agency plan at $79 per month.

RecurPost does not fit three cases in this group:

  1. RecurPost keeps workflow stages account-wide and lets only the account owner configure them, so an agency whose clients each need a different stage sequence fits elsewhere.
  2. RecurPost has no branded client platform on your own subdomain, and Loomly sells exactly that with a custom subdomain, a custom logo, and a custom favicon.
  3. RecurPost previews posts in mobile view only, so a team whose sign-off depends on per-platform mockups stays with Loomly.

You Need Listening Beyond One Report a Month

Closest fitSprout Social, Hootsuite, or Agorapulse
Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and Agorapulse fit whenListening reports pay for themselves with clients
RecurPost does not fitRecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis at any price

Loomly caps its own listening at 1 report per month on Starter and 4 on Beyond, which is the whole trigger for this group. Sprout Social’s Essentials plan runs $99 per seat monthly ($79 annual) and Standard runs $249 monthly ($199 annual), with full social listening sold as an add-on from Standard upward. Hootsuite runs $99 to $399 per user on annual billing, and Hootsuite adds approvals at the $399 Advanced tier. Agorapulse covers listening at $99 per user monthly ($79 annual) alongside its inbox tooling, and Vista Social sells listening as a $75 per month add-on to its $79 plan.

RecurPost does not compete in this group. RecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis. A team selling listening reports to clients should shortlist from the four tools named above.

Where RecurPost Falls Short

RecurPost’s gaps deserve the same bluntness as Loomly’s.

  • RecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis, while Loomly includes at least a limited listening quota.
  • RecurPost shows post previews in mobile view only, with no desktop preview. Loomly’s per-platform post mockups are better, plainly.
  • RecurPost’s interface is utilitarian. Loomly’s interface is more polished, and that shows in a side-by-side demo.
  • RecurPost offers no competitor benchmarking.
  • RecurPost has no branded client platform on your own subdomain. Loomly sells a custom subdomain, a custom logo, and a custom favicon.
  • RecurPost does not publish to Snapchat and has no link-in-bio product, so one Loomly platform and one Loomly work-in-progress have no RecurPost equivalent.
  • RecurPost publishes X posts beyond 280 characters only when the client holds their own X Premium subscription.
  • RecurPost charges $20 per month per team member past the 3 included on Agency, where Loomly Beyond includes unlimited users at $332.

Agencies that moved from Loomly to RecurPost did it for the account math and the platform coverage. The RecurPost case studies show which rosters made that trade and why.

The Pricing Math, Both Ways

Want the numbers for your own roster? The social media tool pricing calculator prices 36 schedulers, including Loomly, for your profiles, seats, clients and must-have features, with the arithmetic shown.

Loomly is not always the expensive option. Loomly prices competitively inside its 12-account, 3-user bundle, and the table shows where the math flips.

ToolBase plan (monthly billing)Accounts and users includedWhat changes the real cost

Sources: Loomly, RecurPost, Buffer, Vista Social, and Metricool. Verified July 17, 2026. RecurPost verified September 15, 2026.

Most vendors in that table cut these prices by roughly 17 to 25 percent on annual billing. Run the math in both directions before switching.

A 3-person team with exactly 12 accounts and no X clients pays Loomly $65 monthly, or $49 on annual billing. RecurPost Agency costs $79 for the same roster. Loomly costs $14 to $30 less per month there, and the mockups and approval polish come with it. Staying put is the rational call.

A 13-account to 20-account roster flips the table hard. Loomly demands Beyond at $332, and RecurPost Agency covers all 20 accounts at $79. The gap runs $253 per month, or $3,036 per year, for one added account.

A solo operator with 2 or 3 accounts pays less almost anywhere else. Buffer’s free plan covers 3 channels. RecurPost Starter costs $9 for 2 accounts, and Publer lands near $5 to $10 per account. Loomly sells no plan under $65 monthly.

A 12-user team managing 50 accounts lands back on Loomly. Loomly Beyond costs $332 flat. RecurPost Agency reaches $379 for that shape: $79 plus 30 extra accounts at $4 and 9 extra members at $20. Agorapulse would run $1,188 monthly at 12 seats. Loomly’s unlimited-user bundle prices below both of those totals at that headcount.

When Staying on Loomly Is the Right Call

Loomly keeps several things nobody on this page fully replaces. No scheduler here matches Loomly’s per-platform post mockups. Loomly puts its approval workflow and advanced analytics on the cheapest plan rather than a top tier. Loomly publishes to Snapchat, which RecurPost, Buffer, and Metricool do not. Loomly’s AI Knowledge feature feeds your brand information and website into its content suggestions, and Loomly’s ideas board and slideshow creator round out a genuinely pleasant creation flow. Planable sells mockup-style approvals as its entire product.

A team of 3 or fewer with 12 or fewer accounts, no X clients, and a mockup-driven review culture should stay on Loomly. A team of 10 or more seats at 40 or more accounts should price Beyond before leaving, because unlimited users at $332 costs less than per-seat rivals at that headcount. Take Loomly’s annual discount only with eyes open, because the yearly plan cannot be terminated early.

Where RecurPost Fits, and Where It Does Not

RecurPost fits the roster that broke Loomly’s bundles. RecurPost charges $4 for the 13th account instead of $267 more per month, and $20 for the fourth team member instead of a plan jump. RecurPost includes X publishing with an account-funded X Wallet paying X’s per-link posting fee. RecurPost connects every client through an email or link invite without a shared password, and RecurPost gives each client its own workspace with staged approvals on the Agency plan at $79. RecurPost takes bulk CSV uploads and RSS imports without a top tier. When a post fails, RecurPost surfaces the reason against 850+ documented platform failure types instead of leaving a gap in the calendar.

RecurPost does not fit mockup-first review cultures, listening-driven agencies, or Snapchat publishers. RecurPost also does not fit an agency whose clients each need a different sequence of workflow stages, or one whose reviews have to run on the agency’s own branded subdomain. Those buyers have better answers above, and one of them is Loomly itself.

The RecurPost vs Loomly comparison walks both tools feature by feature if Loomly is your only other candidate.

Moving Off Loomly

Loomly exports calendars to PDF with a 100-post maximum, and Loomly puts full content export on the Beyond plan. A move from Loomly to RecurPost takes six steps:

  1. Export your Loomly calendar to PDF, and pull the full content export only if you are already on Beyond.
  2. Copy captions and download media from Loomly’s library while your plan is still active.
  3. Check your Loomly renewal date first, because Loomly’s yearly plan cannot be terminated early and its trial runs only 7 days.
  4. Invite each client to connect their own accounts to RecurPost through a password-free link instead of collecting passwords again.
  5. Import the last 6 months of posted content from each connected social account, which rebuilds a working content library without CSV formatting.
  6. Mirror your Loomly review sequence as RecurPost workflow stages, then assign a role to each teammate in every workspace they cover.

RecurPost’s first client goes live with a writer, an account manager, and a client sign-off chain already in place, because step 6 happens before the invites go out. Every post then enters the board with an owner before the second client migrates.

Loomly Alternatives FAQs

What is the best Loomly alternative for your switching trigger?

The answer changes with the gap pushing you off Loomly. RecurPost fits a roster past 12 accounts, an active X client, or a team that needs a fourth seat at $20 per month. RecurPost also fits when a review deadline has to act on its own. RecurPost does not fit mockup-first review cultures, listening-driven agencies, or Snapchat publishers. Metricool fits accounts that fold into 10 or fewer client brands. Buffer fits under roughly 10 channels with no client sign-off step. HeyOrca fits client-services teams with zero X clients. Sprout Social and Agorapulse fit teams selling listening reports. Loomly itself fits a team of 3 or fewer on 12 or fewer accounts with a mockup-driven review culture.

Who are Loomly’s main competitors?

Loomly competes with RecurPost, Metricool, Buffer, Publer, SocialBee, Sendible, HeyOrca, Sprout Social, and Hootsuite. Each one replaces a different part of Loomly. Buyers searching for apps like Loomly usually land on one of those nine. RecurPost prices per social account instead of per account-and-seat bundle. Metricool prices per client brand. Buffer and Publer compete on price. Sendible and HeyOrca compete on client onboarding and client review. Sprout Social and Hootsuite compete on listening depth. No competitor on this page matches Loomly’s per-platform post mockups.

Does Loomly publish to X (Twitter)?

Loomly does not publish to X on any plan, as of July 2026. RecurPost, Buffer, and Publer publish to X on standard paid plans. Vista Social adds X for $29 per month, and Metricool sells X as a paid add-on. HeyOrca dropped direct X publishing in April 2026.

How much does Loomly cost per social account?

Loomly Starter works out to about $5.40 per account per month with all 12 slots used ($65 divided by 12). Loomly Beyond runs about $5.50 per account at full 60-account capacity, but a 13-account roster on Beyond pays about $25.50 per account. RecurPost Agency runs $3.95 per account at 20 accounts.

Which Loomly alternatives include client approvals on the cheapest plan?

Loomly includes approval workflows on Starter at $65 per month, its cheapest plan. RecurPost includes staged client approvals and client workspaces on the Agency plan at $79 per month. RecurPost includes team roles, permissions, and the Kanban board from $9. Vista Social bundles approvals into its $79 plan. Buffer puts approvals on its Team plan at $12 per channel, and Metricool puts them on Advanced at $67.

Does RecurPost have team roles and permissions like Loomly?

RecurPost has team roles and permissions on every plan from $9 per month, with Contributor, Writer, Editor, and Publisher templates plus custom roles built from individual permissions. RecurPost assigns those roles per workspace, so one person can be a Writer for one client and an Editor for another. Loomly grants role-based permissions per calendar with custom user permissions per workspace, and Loomly holds custom roles on Beyond at $332 per month.

What happens when a client or reviewer misses an approval deadline in RecurPost?

RecurPost sets a timeout per approval stage of 4, 8, 24, 48, or 72 hours, or 7 days. RecurPost then applies the rule the account owner picked for that stage: hold the post, approve it automatically, escalate it, or reschedule it. RecurPost warns the assigned role at 50 percent and 80 percent of the timeout and again when the stage is overdue. RecurPost’s default Client Review stage waits 72 hours and then moves the post one day later.

Can a client sign off on posts without a RecurPost login?

A client signs off on RecurPost posts without logging in. The client opens the shareable calendar and approves each post or requests changes with one button. A change request sends the post back to the Writing stage with the client’s comments attached. RecurPost also lets each workspace name an Account Manager who can approve on the client’s behalf, and RecurPost logs every one of those approvals.

Is there a free or cheaper Loomly alternative?

Buffer’s free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel. Metricool’s free plan manages 1 brand with up to 20 posts per month, without X or LinkedIn publishing. HeyOrca offers a free single-workspace tier. Free tiers fit a single-brand test rather than a 12-account roster. RecurPost Starter at $9 and Publer at roughly $5 to $10 per account both undercut Loomly’s $65 floor without dropping to a free tier.

What does replacing Loomly cost at 13 to 20 accounts?

RecurPost Agency covers 20 accounts and 3 team members at $79 per month, against Loomly Beyond at $332 for the same roster size. Vista Social reaches 15 profiles at $79 plus $29 for X publishing. Metricool covers 10 client brands at $45. Loomly is the outlier in this range because nothing sits between its $65 and $332 plans.

Can I cancel a Loomly annual plan early?

You cannot terminate Loomly’s yearly plan early. Loomly’s pricing page states that the 25 percent yearly discount plan cannot be terminated early, while monthly Loomly plans cancel anytime. You get a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee on RecurPost, so both the evaluation and the first month stay reversible.

Which Loomly alternative matches its post mockups?

None of them fully match it. No scheduler on this page previews content per platform the way Loomly’s post mockups do. Planable focuses its whole product on mockup-style approvals but trades away scheduling depth for the price. RecurPost previews posts in mobile view only, with no desktop preview. Buyers who rank mockups first should stay on Loomly.

Try RecurPost

RecurPost’s Agency plan covers 20 social accounts for $79 per month with 3 team members included and no per-seat license fee, and each extra member past those 3 costs a flat $20 per month. RecurPost bills per social account, so leaving Loomly’s account-and-seat bundle keeps the bill flat as the roster grows.
