Hopper HQ alternatives split by the gap that pushes an agency or a creator out. Hopper HQ charges $6 per social account per month on Grow and $12 on Scale, and Hopper HQ puts content approvals and team permissions on Scale only. Six switching triggers follow, each with cost math in both directions and the cases where each tool loses, RecurPost included. See the alternatives and competitors at a glance.

Each Hopper HQ alternative in that table misses somewhere, and the sections below name where. Hopper HQ alternatives are social media management platforms that replace some mix of Hopper HQ’s per-account pricing, its Scale-only approvals, and its Instagram-centered platform list. No replacement matches Hopper HQ’s grid planner and link-in-bio tool at $6 per account, so the trigger decides the pick rather than the feature count.

Nine Hopper HQ alternatives close at least one of the gaps above, and Hopper HQ is one of the nine. The table below names the buyer each alternative fits.

Why Agencies Leave Hopper HQ

Hopper HQ built a per-account scheduler around Instagram planning and held the line there. Six gaps drive most departures.

  1. Hopper HQ multiplies its per-account rate by every account you connect, and no volume discount interrupts that line. A roster that doubles in size doubles the bill.
  2. Hopper HQ’s Grow plan allows one user account. A two-person team pays Scale rates before approvals enter the conversation at all.
  3. Hopper HQ does not list Google Business Profile among its supported platforms. A roster with local businesses on it loses GBP posts entirely.
  4. Hopper HQ publishes YouTube Shorts only. Full-length YouTube videos need a second tool.
  5. Hopper HQ advertises no social inbox anywhere on its site. An agency that sells engagement management answers comments in the native apps instead.
  6. Hopper HQ’s analytics center on post-level performance. An agency that owes each client a monthly cross-platform report rebuilds that report by hand.

An eight-client agency with 16 profiles, two local businesses that need Google Business Profile posts, and one client contract requiring pre-publish approval pays Hopper HQ Scale $192 per month and still cannot publish a single GBP post. That roster is the one this page follows to the end.

A solo Instagram creator with two or three accounts has not outgrown Hopper HQ. Hopper HQ gives that creator the grid planner, the link-in-bio tool, the hashtag explorer, and saved captions for $12 to $18 per month on Grow, with unlimited posts included.

What a Hopper HQ Alternative Has to Cover

Hopper HQ prices per social account, which makes the conversion easier than most migrations. Multiply your account count by $6 or $12 and you have your current bill. The alternatives price on four other units: RecurPost and Vista Social sell flat plans with included accounts, Metricool prices per brand, Agorapulse and Sprout Social price per user seat, and HeyOrca prices per client workspace. One Metricool brand holds one client’s whole profile set, so convert your roster to an account count plus a user count before comparing anything.

Run five checks against that roster:

  1. Confirm the platforms your clients actually need, starting with Google Business Profile and full YouTube videos, since Hopper HQ covers neither.
  2. Separate the three review jobs on your roster: who drafts a post, who reviews it internally, and who signs it off for the client. Several Hopper HQ alternatives gate that separation behind a higher tier.
  3. Count the people who need access. Hopper HQ’s Grow plan allows one user, and per-seat rivals charge again for each person you add.
  4. Price the loaded cost, meaning the base plan plus every add-on your roster forces, such as Vista Social’s $79 plan reaching $108 once X publishing joins.
  5. Map the migration path before canceling, starting with where your saved captions and staged posts will land.

RecurPost’s directory of social media scheduling alternatives covers 40+ tools and runs its own five evaluation dimensions across them, including pricing under team growth and migration depth. The six groups below run the Hopper HQ checks above instead.

Hopper HQ Alternatives by Switching Trigger

Your Per-Account Bill Outgrew Your Roster

Closest fitRecurPost past ten accounts, Metricool for per-client analytics
RecurPost fits whenFlat pricing past ten accounts matters most
Metricool fits whenEach client needs its own analytics dashboard and X is optional
Hopper HQ Grow still fits whenThe roster sits under five accounts

RecurPost’s Agency plan covers 20 social accounts for a flat $79 per month with 3 team members included. RecurPost charges $4 per month for each account past the 20. The same 20 accounts cost $240 on Hopper HQ Scale, or $120 on Grow with one user and no approvals. RecurPost bills per social account rather than per user seat, so a second person on the team does not reprice the roster.

RecurPost’s flat plan also removes the pause an agency feels before connecting a new client account, because account 21 costs $4 rather than another $12. Twenty-five accounts run $99 per month on RecurPost against $300 on Hopper HQ Scale.

Metricool’s Starter plan covers 5 brands for $25 per month, or 10 brands for $45, with unlimited publishing. A ten-client roster with three profiles per client costs $45 on Metricool’s 10-brand tier against $180 to $360 on Hopper HQ. Metricool sells X publishing as a paid add-on, so an X-heavy roster loses part of that saving.

Publer prices per account at roughly $5 to $10 per month, which repeats Hopper HQ’s curve rather than escaping it. Publer suits a buyer leaving Hopper HQ for workflow reasons rather than price reasons.

RecurPost fits this group when flat pricing past ten accounts matters most. Metricool fits instead when each client needs its own analytics dashboard and X is optional. A buyer under five accounts gains little by leaving Hopper HQ Grow at all. RecurPost’s pricing page lets you compare plan costs against your own account count before you move anything.

You Need Client Approvals and Team Roles Without Doubling Your Rate

Closest fitRecurPost for staged review with deadlines that act, HeyOrca for a large client review committee
RecurPost fits whenReview runs more than one step, each person needs different access per client, and the roster wants flat per-account pricing
HeyOrca fits whenThe roster carries no X clients and several named people must approve each post
Hopper HQ Scale still fits whenA large internal team works on few accounts and one approve step is enough

Hopper HQ’s Grow plan card lists 1 User Account and shows Team Permissions and Content Approvals greyed out as exclusions. Hopper HQ’s Scale card lists Unlimited User Accounts, Team Permissions, and Content Approvals. Hopper HQ applies that upgrade to the whole roster at once, so one reviewer reprices every connected account.

Hopper HQ documents approvals as a single step. Any Hopper HQ team member creates draft posts for approval, and a team member with Full Publishing or Admin permissions approves or disapproves them from the Pending Approval toggle in the Posts, Stories and Reel tab. Hopper HQ sets each member’s permissions at invite time, then edits them under Team Member settings, Manage Members, Edit Permissions, where permissions work on an account basis with a default permission level for new accounts.

RecurPost runs review as a staged workflow on a Kanban board. The RecurPost account owner sets the stages up once for the whole account, because an agency’s review process stays the same from one client to the next. Each RecurPost post then moves across the board as a card with an assignee, labels, and a media preview, with Ideas and Scheduled columns at each end. RecurPost builds stages in three types: work, internal review, and client review.

RecurPost’s default workflow chains four steps:

  1. A writer drafts the post in the Writing stage.
  2. A manager reviews the post in the Manager Review stage within 48 hours, or RecurPost escalates it.
  3. The client approves the post in the Client Review stage within 72 hours, or RecurPost moves the post one day later.
  4. A client who requests changes sends the post back to Writing with their comments.

RecurPost lets the owner rename, add, and remove those stages. The owner sets each stage’s timeout at 4, 8, 24, 48, or 72 hours, or at 7 days. RecurPost warns the assigned role at 50 percent and 80 percent of that timeout and again once the stage is overdue. The owner also picks what RecurPost does when the timeout runs out:

  1. RecurPost holds the post in its stage until someone acts.
  2. RecurPost approves the post automatically and moves it on.
  3. RecurPost escalates the post to the next approver.
  4. RecurPost reschedules the post, so a late client review never publishes on the wrong day.

Competitor documentation checked in September 2026 describes no stage timeout that automatically holds, auto-approves, escalates, or reschedules a post. HeyOrca reminds approvers ahead of publish time and takes no action of its own when a review stays overdue. Vista Social reaches SLA reminders and escalation through the third-party ApproveThis integration.

RecurPost controls who acts at each stage through roles, and RecurPost includes those roles on every plan from the $9 Starter, which covers one user, with each additional member at $20 per month. RecurPost starts every account with role templates:

RecurPost roleWhat the role can do
ContributorWrites their own drafts and sends them for review, with no access to other people’s posts or approvals
WriterWrites and edits posts, manages the content library, and replies in the inbox
EditorApproves posts at internal review stages, edits anyone’s work, and manages the inbox
PublisherPublishes and schedules, handles client approvals, exports reports, and manages the team

RecurPost also lets the owner edit a template or build a custom role by ticking individual permissions. RecurPost’s permissions cover posts, approvals and publishing, social profiles, the content library, the inbox, reports, DM automations, paid ads, client review, and workspace and team settings. Turning a section off hides that page from the member’s sidebar. A member who tries a blocked action sees the exact permission to ask the workspace owner for.

RecurPost assigns roles per workspace, so one person holds different roles for different clients. A freelancer can be a Writer for one client, an Editor for a second, and have no access to a third. RecurPost also names an Account Manager for each workspace. RecurPost’s Account Manager is a guaranteed second approver and can approve on the client’s behalf, and RecurPost logs every approve-on-behalf.

RecurPost’s clients never log in to approve. The client opens the shareable calendar, then approves each post or requests changes with one button. RecurPost keeps onboarding password free through an email or link invite, so the client connects their own accounts and never shares credentials. RecurPost includes client workspaces and the internal and client approval workflow on the Agency plan at $79 per month.

The eight-client agency described above maps onto that workflow directly. A freelance writer holds the Contributor role in the two workspaces they cover and drafts inside them. The account manager clears Manager Review within 48 hours from the board, or RecurPost escalates the post. The approval-requiring client approves from the shareable calendar within 72 hours, or RecurPost reschedules the post by a day. On Hopper HQ, adding that one reviewer moves the agency’s 16 accounts from Grow to Scale and takes the bill from $96 to $192 per month.

Metricool, Vista Social, and Sprout Social carry roles and approvals of their own. Metricool ships preset roles named Manager, Editor, Content Creator, Analyst, and Client, plus custom roles, and Metricool’s Client role approves or rejects posts. Vista Social routes multi-step approvals in a set order, always requires approval on a contributor’s posts, and lets clients approve without logging in. Vista Social also offers a Kanban Board view inside Vista Work projects. Sprout Social runs multi-step, multi-role approval workflows at $199 per seat per month on annual billing.

RecurPost does not fit a team that wants unlimited user accounts on one bill. Hopper HQ Scale includes unlimited user accounts, while RecurPost Agency includes 3 team members and charges $20 per month for each extra member. RecurPost also does not fit an agency that wants a different approval chain per client, because the RecurPost account owner configures workflow stages once for the whole account.

Your Clients Need Google Business Profile

Closest fitRecurPost for agencies, Metricool for per-brand analytics
RecurPost fits whenCTA buttons and rejection monitoring matter for local clients
Metricool fits whenThe same local client also wants a per-brand analytics dashboard
Buffer fits whenA plain GBP post is enough at $6 per channel

RecurPost publishes to Google Business Profile on every paid plan and adds CTA buttons to those posts, including Book, Call Now, and Offer. RecurPost also monitors GBP posts for rejections, which Google issues after initial acceptance without notifying anyone. RecurPost publishes full YouTube videos alongside Shorts, which closes Hopper HQ’s second platform gap in the same move.

Metricool publishes to Google Business Profile on every tier including its free plan, so a roster tests GBP posting at no cost before committing anywhere. Buffer publishes GBP posts only, without CTA buttons or rejection monitoring, at $6 per channel per month.

RecurPost fits this group for an agency with local clients, because CTA buttons and rejection monitoring turn GBP into a managed channel rather than a checkbox. The two local businesses inside that eight-client roster are the exact case. Metricool fits instead when the same local client also wants a per-brand analytics dashboard.

You Need an Inbox and Engagement Tools

Closest fitAgorapulse for inbox depth, RecurPost for scheduler-priced reply management
Agorapulse fits whenEngagement volume justifies per-seat pricing and deeper moderation tooling
RecurPost fits whenReply management at $79 flat is enough without a per-seat bill
Vista Social fits whenClient review management sits alongside the inbox work

Agorapulse fits when a brand answering high comment volume across platforms needs inbox depth a scheduler does not carry. Agorapulse includes a unified inbox on every tier, runs $99 per user per month on Standard ($79 annual) with 10 profiles included, and charges $10 per month for each extra profile. Agorapulse also assigns permissions through four roles: co-owner, manager, advanced member, and member.

Vista Social covers inbox work inside a broader feature set at $79 for 15 profiles and 2 users, with review management included and social listening as a $75 per month add-on. Vista Social adds X publishing for $29 per month.

RecurPost ships a social inbox with AI reply suggestions at scheduler prices. RecurPost scopes inbox access by role, so a Writer replies in the inbox, an Editor manages it, and a Contributor never sees it. That role scoping matters on a roster where a freelancer answers comments for two clients and touches nothing else.

RecurPost fits this group when reply management at $79 flat covers the work. Agorapulse fits when engagement volume justifies its per-seat price and its moderation tooling. Vista Social sits between them when client review management matters too.

You Want Client Reporting, Deeper Analytics, or Social Listening

Closest fitRecurPost for client reporting, Metricool for per-brand analytics on a budget, Sprout Social or Hootsuite for listening
RecurPost fits whenEach client needs a white-label PDF report across platforms
Metricool fits whenAn analytics-first buyer wants per-brand dashboards with ads in the same place
Sprout Social or Hootsuite fits whenListening reports go to enterprise stakeholders
RecurPost does not fitRecurPost has no social listening, no sentiment analysis, and no competitor benchmarking

Hopper HQ’s analytics stop at post-level performance, which leaves the monthly client report as manual work. RecurPost’s Custom Reports builder assembles 200+ metrics across 10 platforms with drag and drop, and RecurPost ships 58 templates and 11 chart types inside it. RecurPost’s reports include audience demographics, Meta ads reporting metrics, and Google Business reviews. RecurPost delivers each report as a white-label PDF that downloads or emails to as many as 25 recipients, and RecurPost’s Chat with Reports AI answers questions about the numbers in the report. RecurPost includes white-label reports on the Agency plan at $79 per month.

An agency that owes eight clients a monthly report currently copies Hopper HQ’s post-level numbers into a slide deck by hand. A white-label PDF emailed to the client’s stakeholders replaces that hour-per-client rebuild.

Metricool covers the budget half of this group. Metricool’s free plan holds 1 brand with up to 20 posts per month, Metricool Starter covers 5 brands at $25 per month and 10 brands at $45 with unlimited publishing, and Metricool keeps ads management in the same dashboard. Metricool fits a Hopper HQ user leaving over post-level-only analytics when the reporting budget caps at $45 per month.

Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and Agorapulse cover the listening half. Sprout Social sells listening as an add-on from its Standard plan upward, Hootsuite carries listening in its higher tiers, and Agorapulse sells an Advanced Listening add-on.

RecurPost does not compete on listening. RecurPost has no social listening, no sentiment analysis, and no competitor benchmarking, so a buyer who sells any of those three should shortlist Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or Agorapulse and treat everything else on this page as a scheduler.

You Are Staying Instagram-First and Visual

Closest fitPlanoly, or stay on Hopper HQ
Planoly fits whenA creator store and Instagram-native planning matter more than platform breadth
Hopper HQ still fits when1 to 3 accounts, no review step, and daily grid-planner use
RecurPost does not fitRecurPost has no link-in-bio product

Planoly serves a solo Instagram-first creator at $16 per month, with grid planning as the core of the product and a creator store attached. Planoly weakens fast outside Instagram, so a multi-platform roster should not stop here.

Hopper HQ built its product for exactly this buyer, and the section on staying with Hopper HQ makes that case in full. A creator who lives in the grid planner, uses the link-in-bio tool, and posts unlimited Instagram content at $6 per account may have no reason to move at all.

Where RecurPost Fits a Hopper HQ Team, and Where It Does Not

RecurPost fits the roster that broke Hopper HQ’s per-account curve. That eight-client agency lands on RecurPost Agency at $79 per month: its 16 profiles sit inside the 20 included, the two local businesses get Google Business Profile posts with CTA buttons and rejection monitoring, and the approval-requiring client reviews posts inside its own client workspace on that plan. RecurPost gives the writer, the account manager, and the client three different roles across the workspaces they touch, and RecurPost reschedules a post whose client review passes 72 hours instead of publishing it unapproved. Every client connects accounts through an email or link invite without sharing a password. When a post fails, RecurPost surfaces the reason from 850+ documented platform error types instead of leaving the miss for the client to find.

RecurPost does not fit a Hopper HQ team that depends on any of these:

  • RecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis. Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and Agorapulse all sell listening.
  • RecurPost offers no competitor benchmarking, so an agency that sells benchmarking fits Metricool or Sprout Social better.
  • RecurPost charges $20 per month for each team member past the 3 included on Agency. Hopper HQ Scale includes unlimited user accounts on one bill.
  • RecurPost applies workflow stages account-wide, so an agency that wants a different approval chain per client cannot have one.
  • RecurPost’s interface is utilitarian. It handles large client rosters fine and wins no design awards doing it.
  • RecurPost has no link-in-bio product and does not publish to Snapchat. Hopper HQ ships a link-in-bio tool on both plans.
  • RecurPost publishes X posts over 280 characters only when the client holds their own X Premium subscription.

Hopper HQ Pricing Math, Both Ways

Want the numbers for your own roster? The social media tool pricing calculator prices 36 schedulers, including Hopper HQ, for your profiles, seats, clients and must-have features, with the arithmetic shown.

Hopper HQ Scale costs a 20-account agency three times RecurPost Agency’s price, and Hopper HQ Grow costs a one-account creator less than any paid plan here. The direction depends on account count and on whether review steps are in play.

Sources: Buffer, Metricool, and Agorapulse pricing pages, verified July 16, 2026. Hopper HQ plan contents checked against Hopper HQ pricing on September 15, 2026. RecurPost plans verified September 15, 2026. Annual billing lowers most of these prices by roughly 15 to 20 percent.

Run the math in both directions.

A single-account solo operator stays cheaper on Hopper HQ. Hopper HQ Grow costs $6 per month for one account against RecurPost Starter at $9 for two. Buffer’s free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel, so the smallest rosters can start at zero.

A five-account solo operator lands near a tie. Hopper HQ Grow costs $30 per month ($25 on annual billing) against RecurPost Personal at $25 for 5 accounts. RecurPost’s $25 adds Google Business Profile, full YouTube videos, team roles, and the Kanban board. Hopper HQ’s $30 keeps the grid planner and the link-in-bio tool. A five-account roster that needs client sign-off compares RecurPost Agency at $79 against Hopper HQ Scale at $60, and Hopper HQ is cheaper at that size.

A 20-account agency that needs review saves $161 per month by moving from Hopper HQ Scale to RecurPost Agency at identical roster size, and that single scenario moves most Hopper HQ switchers. Buffer Team costs the same $240 as Hopper HQ Scale at that size (20 channels at $12), so Buffer offers this roster no relief.

A two-person engagement team on 10 profiles pays Agorapulse $198 per month for two Standard seats against RecurPost Agency at $79. Agorapulse justifies the gap with inbox depth and moderation tooling. A buyer selling community management to clients should pay it.

When Staying on Hopper HQ Is the Right Call

Hopper HQ keeps four advantages nobody should wave away.

  1. Hopper HQ’s $6 per account entry costs less than every paid plan on this page for a one-account or two-account roster.
  2. Hopper HQ’s visual grid planner, link-in-bio tool, hashtag explorer, and saved captions form a tight Instagram workflow, with unlimited posts standard.
  3. Hopper HQ publishes to Threads and Bluesky, which several older schedulers still miss.
  4. Hopper HQ Scale includes unlimited user accounts, which suits a large internal team working on a small account list.

A solo Instagram creator with one to three accounts, no review step, and no local-business clients should stay on Hopper HQ. A twelve-person in-house team running four brand accounts should also do the math on Scale before moving, because four accounts on Scale cost $48 per month with unlimited user accounts.

Hopper HQ Features With No RecurPost Equivalent

Hopper HQ’s link-in-bio tool and its Instagram-first grid planner have no RecurPost equivalent, and no amount of scheduling depth substitutes for either. A creator who monetizes through a bio link needs a standalone link-in-bio service alongside any scheduler on this page. An agency that manages one creator account this way often keeps Hopper HQ Grow on that single account and runs the client roster elsewhere.

Moving Off Hopper HQ

Run both tools in parallel through the trial window before canceling anything. A move from Hopper HQ to RecurPost takes five steps.

  1. Copy your Hopper HQ saved captions out by hand, since caption libraries rarely transfer between schedulers.
  2. Start RecurPost’s 14-day free trial, which needs no credit card and overlaps comfortably with a monthly Hopper HQ billing cycle.
  3. Build your workflow stages first, because the account owner sets them once for the whole account.
  4. Invite each client through a password-free email or link invite, then assign each teammate a role in every workspace they cover.
  5. Import your past posts straight from each connected social account, which recreates a working content library without CSV formatting.

Rebuild the draft, internal review, and client sign-off chain during that trial while Hopper HQ still publishes. RecurPost case studies show which agency rosters made this trade and why.

Hopper HQ Alternatives FAQs

How does Hopper HQ pricing work in 2026?

Hopper HQ multiplies a per-account rate by the number of social accounts you connect. Hopper HQ Grow costs $6 per account per month on monthly billing ($5 annual) with one user and no approvals. Hopper HQ Scale costs $12 per account per month ($10 annual) with unlimited users, team permissions, and content approvals. Ten accounts therefore cost $60 to $120 per month depending on plan.

Does Hopper HQ support Google Business Profile?

Hopper HQ does not list Google Business Profile among its supported platforms. RecurPost, Metricool, Buffer, Publer, and Vista Social all publish to Google Business Profile. RecurPost adds GBP CTA buttons (Book, Call Now, Offer) plus rejection monitoring on those posts.

Which Hopper HQ alternatives include client approvals on entry plans?

RecurPost includes team roles, permissions, and the Kanban board on every plan from $9 per month, and RecurPost includes the internal and client approval workflow with client workspaces on the Agency plan at $79. HeyOrca includes unlimited approvals from its Basic workspace tier. Hopper HQ holds content approvals at Scale ($12 per account) and Buffer holds them at Team ($12 per channel), which both double the entry rate.

Which Hopper HQ alternative fits an agency that needs client approvals?

The answer changes with the roster and the review chain. RecurPost fits an agency past ten accounts that needs staged review, because RecurPost’s Agency plan covers 20 social accounts for $79 per month with client workspaces and the internal and client approval workflow included. HeyOrca fits a roster that carries no X clients and needs several named approvers on each post. Vista Social fits a buyer who wants multi-step approvals and inbox work in one place at $79 for 15 profiles. RecurPost does not fit a team that wants unlimited user accounts on one bill, which Hopper HQ Scale includes at $12 per account. A creator with 1 to 3 accounts and no review step stays cheaper on Hopper HQ Grow.

Does RecurPost have team roles and permissions like Hopper HQ Scale?

RecurPost has team roles and permissions on every plan from $9 per month, assigned per workspace. RecurPost starts you with role templates named Contributor, Writer, Editor, and Publisher, and you can edit a template or build a custom role by ticking individual permissions. Hopper HQ includes team permissions on Scale at $12 per account and sets them per member on an account basis. Hopper HQ Scale includes unlimited user accounts, while RecurPost Agency includes 3 team members and charges $20 per month for each extra member.

What happens if a client does not review a RecurPost post in time?

RecurPost acts on a missed review according to the rule the account owner set for that stage. Each RecurPost stage carries a timeout of 4, 8, 24, 48, or 72 hours, or 7 days, and RecurPost then holds the post, approves it automatically, escalates it, or reschedules it. RecurPost’s default Client Review stage waits 72 hours and reschedules the post by one day. RecurPost also warns the assigned role at 50 percent and 80 percent of the timeout and again once the stage is overdue.

Which Hopper HQ competitors offer a Kanban board for content review?

RecurPost includes a Kanban board on every plan from $9 per month, and RecurPost’s posts move across it as cards with an assignee, labels, and a media preview. Vista Social offers a Kanban Board view inside Vista Work projects. HeyOrca reviews posts in month and day calendar views, and Hopper HQ plans content in a visual post planner. RecurPost’s board also acts at the deadline. RecurPost holds, auto-approves, escalates, or reschedules a post when a stage timeout runs out, and no competitor source checked in September 2026 documents that behavior.

Is there a free Hopper HQ alternative?

Buffer’s free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel. Metricool’s free plan manages 1 brand with up to 20 posts per month, without X or LinkedIn publishing. HeyOrca offers a free single-workspace tier with 15 scheduled posts per month. Hopper HQ itself sells no free plan, only a 14-day trial.

Does Hopper HQ publish full YouTube videos?

Hopper HQ publishes YouTube Shorts only. RecurPost publishes both full YouTube videos and Shorts on every paid plan. A channel built on long-form video needs that distinction settled before choosing.

What does a 20-account roster cost on Hopper HQ versus alternatives?

Hopper HQ Scale prices 20 accounts at $240 per month, and Hopper HQ Grow prices them at $120 without approvals or a second user. RecurPost Agency covers 20 accounts for $79 with 3 team members, client workspaces, and the approval workflow included. Buffer Team reaches $240 at 20 channels, and Vista Social covers 15 profiles at $79 plus $29 for X publishing.

Try RecurPost

RecurPost bills per social account rather than per user seat, so RecurPost’s Agency plan covers 20 social accounts for $79 per month with 3 team members included.

  • RecurPost includes team roles, custom permissions, and a Kanban board on every plan from $9.
  • RecurPost includes the internal and client approval workflow inside client workspaces on the Agency plan at $79.
  • RecurPost acts on a missed review deadline by holding, auto-approving, escalating, or rescheduling the post.
  • RecurPost’s clients approve posts or request changes from the shareable calendar without logging in.
  • RecurPost onboards each client through a password-free email or link invite.
  • RecurPost publishes Google Business Profile posts with CTA buttons and rejection monitoring.
  • RecurPost publishes full YouTube videos and Shorts on every paid plan.
  • RecurPost adds social accounts at $4 per month and team members at $20 per month.
  • RecurPost offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

RecurPost has no link-in-bio product, no social listening, no competitor benchmarking, and no grid planner built for Instagram-first creators. A solo creator with 1 to 3 accounts and no review step still pays less on Hopper HQ’s $6 per account plan.
