Social Champ alternatives divide by the gate that pushes an agency out. Social Champ prices workspaces, approvals, X publishing, and listening in separate tiers and add-ons, and each gate points at a different replacement.

The groups below sort Social Champ alternatives by that gate rather than by tool. Each group runs the cost math in both directions and names the roster where RecurPost is the wrong answer. Social Champ alternatives at a glance lists every tool with its starting price.

The short version, before the evidence:

The gap that’s moving youClosest fitStarting price
Workspace caps force the $149 planRecurPost$79/mo (Agency, 20 accounts)
Approvals and roles sit behind ProfessionalRecurPost, or HeyOrca for zero-X rosters$79/mo Agency, or $59 per workspace

Analytics and ads in one dashboardMetricoolFree (1 brand)
Listening deeper than a $29 add-onSprout Social, Agorapulse, or Vista Social$99/seat/mo, or Vista Social at $79/mo plus a $75 listening add-on

Every tool in that table misses somewhere, and the rest of this page shows where. Social Champ alternatives are social media management platforms that replace some mix of Social Champ’s workspace-tiered pricing, approval gating, and dual bundle and pay-as-you-go pricing. No replacement here matches Social Champ’s WhatsApp Business and Mastodon publishing or its unlimited-user Agency plan.

Why Buyers Leave Social Champ

Social Champ covers more networks than most schedulers at its price, including WhatsApp Business, Mastodon, and Discord in beta. One caveat sits under that breadth. Social Champ sells X (Twitter) publishing as a paid add-on per profile on every plan, and its free plan carries no X at all. The departures still come from how Social Champ cuts its plans, not from missing platforms. Four gates drive most of them:

  1. Social Champ meters workspaces by tier. Standard includes one workspace, Professional includes three, and unlimited workspaces arrive only on the $149 Agency plan. An agency that keeps each client in a separate workspace hits that wall at client number four.
  2. Social Champ meters approvals the same way. The free plan and the Starter pay-as-you-go tier carry no approval workflow. Standard carries a basic approval, and the multi-layer approval workflow starts at Professional, $59 per month. A freelancer who needs one client to sign off on posts pays for a 12-account, 5-user plan to get it.
  3. Social Champ runs two pricing models side by side, flat bundles and pay-per-profile tiers, and the overlap makes cost forecasting hard. The Growth pay-as-you-go tier charges $9 per profile for the first ten, which is pricier per account than almost every rival on this page. The Starter tier drops to $5 per profile and locks the account to one user and one workspace with no approvals.
  4. Social Champ holds its AI volume and its agency reporting features for the higher tiers. The table below lists where each one starts.
Social Champ featureWhere it starts
AI content credits3 lifetime on free, 50 per month on Standard $29, 100 on Professional, 250 on Agency; extra packs $9 per 100

Social Champ’s white label stops at reports. Social Champ ships no client portal, no custom domain, and no shareable report link, so branded reporting means exporting PDF, PPT, or CSV files and sending them by hand.

None of these gates matter to a large in-house team that lives inside one workspace. Every one of them matters to an agency with six clients, three team members, and a review step per client. That agency is who the rest of this page is for.

What a Social Champ Alternative Has to Cover

Social Champ sells the same roster two ways, and the unit conversion decides which numbers you should compare. The bundles price a fixed pack: 6 accounts and 2 users for $29, 12 accounts and 5 users for $59, 30 accounts and unlimited users for $149. The pay-as-you-go tiers price each profile at $5 on Starter or $9 on Growth, with volume discounts past account ten. Write down three numbers for your roster first: total social accounts, total people who need access, and how many clients need their own separated workspace with approvals.

Then run six checks against those numbers:

  1. Find the tier where client approvals start. Social Champ holds multi-layer approval at $59, Buffer holds approvals at $12 per channel, Metricool holds them at $67, and RecurPost includes its internal and client approval workflow on the Agency plan at $79 with 20 social accounts.
  2. Count the workspaces, not just the accounts. A 12-account plan with 3 workspaces cannot separate six clients.
  3. Confirm platform coverage against your actual roster. Social Champ publishes to WhatsApp Business and Mastodon, and most alternatives on this page (RecurPost among them) do not.
  4. Price the loaded cost, meaning the base plan plus every add-on your roster forces. Vista Social’s $79 plan becomes $108 once X publishing joins.
  5. Check how clients connect their accounts. Password-free client invites (RecurPost on the Agency plan at $79, Sendible from its $99 Plus plan) skip the credential handoff that user-seat models require.
  6. Check who is allowed to do what, and whether access follows the person or the client. RecurPost assigns roles per workspace on every plan from $9. Social Champ assigns Admin, Editor, or Author per workspace at invite time, and the invited team member needs their own Social Champ account.

RecurPost’s directory of social media scheduling alternatives runs these same checks across 42 schedulers. The five groups below run them for the Social Champ case only.

Social Champ Alternatives by Switching Trigger

Your Client Roster Outgrew the Workspace Caps

Closest fitRecurPost on price, or Vista Social for added review and listening depth
RecurPost fits whenThe roster passes three separated clients and 20 social accounts covers it
Vista Social fits whenReview management or listening justifies a $108 loaded cost
Social Champ still fits whenThe whole team works out of one or two workspaces

RecurPost’s Agency plan covers 20 social accounts for $79 per month with a separate workspace per client, 3 team members, and 5 shareable client calendars included. RecurPost prices each extra account at $4 per month rather than a tier jump, each extra team member at $20 per month, and each further block of 10 shareable calendars at $10 per month. The same six-client agency on Social Champ needs the $149 Agency bundle purely for the workspace count, even when its account total fits the $59 Professional tier.

A separated RecurPost workspace holds more than a folder of posts, because RecurPost assigns roles per workspace. RecurPost includes team roles, custom permissions, and the Kanban board on every plan, starting with the $9 Starter plan. One person can therefore hold a different role on each client.

Take a six-client agency with 18 social accounts and 3 team members, one of them a contract writer who covers two clients. RecurPost gives that writer the Writer role in one workspace, the Editor role in the second, and no access to the other four. The client rosters stay separate without a second subscription.

Vista Social solves the same problem with more product around it. Vista Social’s Professional plan covers 15 profiles and 2 users for $79, includes approvals, and adds an inbox, review management, and reporting that go deeper than either Social Champ or RecurPost. Vista Social’s X add-on at $29 per month raises the real price to $108 for rosters that post to X.

RecurPost does not fit a team of eight or more people running out of one or two workspaces. Social Champ’s unlimited-user Agency plan at $149 prices that team lower, and the pricing section below runs the numbers.

Approval Workflows, Roles, and Client Onboarding Sit Behind the Wrong Tier

Closest fitRecurPost, or HeyOrca for zero-X, review-heavy agencies
RecurPost fits whenThe chain needs named stages, a different role at each stage, and a deadline that acts on its own
HeyOrca fits whenNo client posts to X and client review depth matters most
Sendible fits whenThe budget clears $99 and unlimited users matter

Social Champ and RecurPost both run staged approvals, so the difference sits in what each stage does and how access is scoped. Social Champ configures its Multi-Layer Approval Workflow in Workspace settings, with named stages, a choice of one approver or several required per stage, optional external email approvers, and one active default workflow chosen from several. Social Champ’s One-Step Approval Workflow instead sends every scheduled post in a workspace to an Admin or the Owner, or applies to a single Author on selected accounts.

Sources: Social Champ help center on one-step approval, multi-stage approvals, and Author permissions (that last guide carries Social Champ’s own note that it describes an earlier version), fetched September 15, 2026. Social Champ tier prices verified July 28, 2026. RecurPost product verified September 15, 2026.

RecurPost’s account owner sets up the stages once for the whole account, because an agency does not change how it works from one client to the next. RecurPost’s default workflow chains four steps and bookends the board with an Ideas column and a Scheduled column:

  1. A writer drafts the post in the Writing stage.
  2. A manager reviews the post in the Manager Review stage within 48 hours, or RecurPost escalates it.
  3. The client approves the post in the Client Review stage within 72 hours, or RecurPost reschedules the post one day later.
  4. A client who requests changes sends the post back to Writing with their comments.

RecurPost sets each stage’s timeout at 4, 8, 24, 48, or 72 hours, or at 7 days. RecurPost warns the assigned role at 50 percent and 80 percent of that timeout, then again once the stage is overdue. The account owner also picks what RecurPost does when the time runs out:

  1. RecurPost holds the post in its stage until someone acts.
  2. RecurPost approves the post automatically and moves it on.
  3. RecurPost escalates the post to the next approver.
  4. RecurPost reschedules the post so a late review never publishes on the wrong day.

RecurPost’s reschedule rule carries the most weight at client review. A client who goes quiet before a Friday launch triggers that rule, and RecurPost moves the post to the next day instead of publishing it unapproved.

RecurPost controls who acts at each stage through roles rather than through profile counts. RecurPost starts every account with role templates:

RecurPost roleWhat the role can do
ContributorWrite their own drafts and send them for review, with no access to other people’s posts or approvals
WriterWrite and edit posts, manage the content library, and reply in the inbox
EditorApprove posts at internal review stages, edit anyone’s work, and manage the inbox
PublisherPublish and schedule, handle client approvals, export reports, and manage the team

RecurPost also lets the owner build a custom role by ticking individual permissions. RecurPost’s permissions cover posts, approvals and publishing, social profiles, the content library, the inbox, reports, DM automations, paid ads, client review, and workspace and team settings. Switching a section off hides that page from the member’s sidebar. A member who tries a blocked action sees the exact permission to ask the workspace owner for.

RecurPost names an Account Manager for each workspace as well. RecurPost’s Account Manager is a guaranteed second approver and can approve on the client’s behalf, and RecurPost logs every approve-on-behalf.

RecurPost sends each role only the alerts for the stages that role works in, by email and in the mobile app:

  • RecurPost alerts a member when a post is assigned to them.
  • RecurPost alerts approvers when posts are waiting for review.
  • RecurPost alerts the writer when a post is approved or sent back with changes.
  • RecurPost alerts the assigned role as a stage nears its timeout and again when it misses it.
  • RecurPost alerts the team when a client approves, rejects, or receives an urgent approval request.
  • RecurPost alerts the owner when a publish succeeds, fails, or needs an account reconnected.

Notification coverage is where a hands-on Social Champ trial in July 2026 found a hole. Social Champ sent no notification email to internal reviewers when a post was waiting, so an internal reviewer discovered a pending post by logging in or opening the shared link. Social Champ’s multi-layer workflow does email an external approver a link to the post.

RecurPost’s client side needs no login at all. The client opens RecurPost’s shareable calendar and approves each post or requests changes with one button. RecurPost also onboards each client without passwords, through an email or link invite that lets the client connect their own accounts. Social Champ instead routes access through user seats: 2 on Standard, 5 on Professional, and $8 per extra user at the Professional level.

Map that onto the six-client agency. The contract writer drafts on Monday. The account manager has 48 hours in Manager Review before RecurPost escalates the post. The client then has 72 hours on the shareable calendar before RecurPost reschedules the post by a day. RecurPost includes that workflow on the Agency plan at $79 per month, and the roles and board that carry it from the $9 Starter plan.

Sendible matches the onboarding move with Client Connect, which handles password-free client connections the same way. Client Connect and approvals both start on Sendible’s Plus plan at $99 per month, and the $29 Core plan carries neither.

HeyOrca builds every workspace around review rounds. HeyOrca prices per client workspace at Free, $59, or $149 per workspace, with unlimited users on every tier. HeyOrca has not published directly to X since April 2026, which rules it out for any roster with active X clients, and RecurPost carries the same six clients inside one $79 Agency plan with X publishing included.

RecurPost does not fit an agency that needs a differently shaped workflow for each client, because RecurPost’s stages are account-wide and only the account owner edits them. RecurPost also does not fit a team of eight or more people, where Social Champ’s unlimited users at $149 decide the bill.

You Want Free or Nearly Free for One Brand

Closest fitBuffer under roughly 10 channels, Publer for cheap plus bulk
Buffer fits whenNo client approvals are in sight
Publer fits whenCheap plus bulk tools matter more than simplicity
RecurPost fits whenA paid scheduler with team roles and a board beats a free tier

Buffer fits most solo operators in this group. Buffer’s free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel, against Social Champ’s free plan of 3 accounts and 15 scheduled posts total. Buffer Essentials costs $6 per channel per month with unlimited scheduling, and Buffer sells that plan on the simplicity of its own interface.

Buffer’s edges are sharp. Buffer requires account credentials at connection, surfaces no error when a post fails, and holds approvals at the Team plan, $12 per channel per month. A solo brand without client review never touches those edges.

Publer answers the same cheap-for-one-brand gate with more volume tooling. Publer charges a $5 Professional base plus $4 per extra account, with bulk features included. SocialBee starts at $29 with its category-based content library as the centerpiece. RecurPost takes bulk CSV uploads and RSS imports on every paid plan from $9, so the budget question here is per-account price rather than bulk tooling.

RecurPost Starter covers 2 social accounts for $9 per month with the scheduler, team roles, and the Kanban board. RecurPost’s client-facing pieces sit higher up. Client workspaces, the staged approval workflow, and client review start on the Agency plan at $79. A solo operator running one brand across 4 accounts with no reviewer should compare RecurPost Personal at $25 for 5 accounts against Buffer’s per-channel price, and step to Agency only when a client joins the chain.

RecurPost does not fit a buyer who wants a free tier. RecurPost sells a 14-day trial with no credit card and no permanent free plan.

You Need Analytics and Ads in One Dashboard

Closest fitMetricool
Metricool fits whenThe deliverable is a performance report or an ads dashboard
RecurPost fits whenThe deliverable is a white-label client report built from your own accounts
Neither fits whenThe contract requires competitor benchmarks

Metricool is the tool here that puts ads management in the same dashboard as organic reporting. Metricool’s free plan covers 1 brand with up to 20 posts per month, without X or LinkedIn publishing. Metricool Starter covers 5 brands at $25 per month or 10 brands at $45, publishes to Google Business Profile on every tier, and puts ads management inside the same dashboard as organic reporting. One Metricool brand holds one client’s whole profile set, so the brand unit converts generously from Social Champ’s per-account counts. Metricool sells X publishing as an add-on and holds approvals until the $67 Advanced plan.

RecurPost competes on the report itself. RecurPost’s Custom Reports builder assembles 200+ metrics across 10 platforms with 58 templates, 11 chart types, and a drag-and-drop layout. RecurPost’s reports carry audience demographics for Instagram and Facebook age, gender, and location, plus LinkedIn industry, seniority, and function. RecurPost adds Meta ads reporting metrics and Google Business reviews, then exports a white-label PDF for download or email to as many as 25 recipients. RecurPost’s Chat with Reports AI answers questions about the numbers in the report.

A six-client agency whose monthly deliverable is one white-label PDF per client gets it from RecurPost Agency at $79. RecurPost boosts published Facebook and Instagram posts into ads, with budget, audience, and duration set inside RecurPost and the spend billed through the connected Meta ad account. RecurPost does not fit a buyer who needs competitor benchmarking, ads built from scratch, Google, LinkedIn, or TikTok campaigns, scheduled report delivery, shareable public report links, or a PowerPoint export. A buyer whose campaigns run past boosted Facebook and Instagram posts belongs on Metricool.

You Need Listening Deeper Than an Add-On

Closest fitAgorapulse on entry price, Sprout Social on depth, Vista Social on one bill
Agorapulse fits whenListening plus a strong inbox has to arrive at the lowest per-seat price
Sprout Social fits whenReporting needs to reach enterprise depth
RecurPost does not fitRecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis at any price

Social Champ sells listening as a $29 add-on on Professional and bundles it into Agency. A hands-on trial in July 2026 found that module thinner than its price suggests. Social Champ’s listening monitors keywords across YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Reddit. It sends no alerts or notifications when a mention lands, tracks no hashtags, and offers no way to reply from the listening dashboard. That covers periodic keyword check-ins rather than the brand-health reporting enterprise clients expect.

Sprout Social and Hootsuite are the two tools here that sell enterprise-tier listening. Sprout Social’s Standard plan runs $199 per seat on annual billing and $249 monthly, with listening sold as an add-on from Standard upward. Hootsuite runs $99 to $399 per user on annual billing, with approvals at the $399 Advanced tier. Agorapulse covers listening at $99 per user monthly, $79 annual, with a strong inbox, and holds approvals until its $149 Professional plan. Vista Social sells listening as a $75 add-on on top of plans that already include approvals.

RecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis at any price, so RecurPost does not compete in this group. A client contract that requires brand-health reporting with mention alerts belongs on Agorapulse, Sprout Social, or Vista Social. Social Champ’s own $29 add-on sends no alert when a mention lands, so a buyer who needs that alert leaves both Social Champ and RecurPost behind.

Where RecurPost Falls Short

RecurPost’s gaps deserve the same bluntness as Social Champ’s.

  • RecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis. Social Champ ships listening as a $29 add-on or bundled at Agency.
  • RecurPost does not publish to WhatsApp Business or Mastodon, and Social Champ publishes to both.
  • RecurPost includes 3 team members on Agency and charges $20 per month for each extra member. Social Champ’s $149 Agency plan carries unlimited users, so a team past about eight people costs more on RecurPost.
  • RecurPost’s workflow stages are account-wide and only the account owner configures them. A team that wants a different stage shape for each client cannot have one.
  • RecurPost’s interface is utilitarian. It handles large client rosters fine and wins no design awards doing it.
  • RecurPost offers no competitor benchmarking.
  • RecurPost includes 5 shareable client calendars on the Agency plan, so a sixth reviewing client adds $10 per month for a block of 10 more.
  • RecurPost has no Snapchat publishing and no link-in-bio product.
  • RecurPost publishes X posts beyond 280 characters only when the client has their own X Premium subscription.

Agencies that switched anyway did it for the workspace and approval economics. The RecurPost case studies show which rosters made that trade and why.

Social Champ Plans and Pricing Math, Both Ways

Want the numbers for your own roster? The social media tool pricing calculator prices 36 schedulers, including Social Champ, for your profiles, seats, clients and must-have features, with the arithmetic shown.

Social Champ is not an expensive tool, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. The table shows where each option lands on monthly billing.

Annual billing lowers most of these prices by roughly 17 to 25 percent, including Social Champ’s 20 percent discount. Run the math in both directions before switching.

A solo brand with 5 accounts pays about the same everywhere. Social Champ Starter pay-as-you-go costs $25 for 5 profiles, Social Champ Standard costs $29 for 6, RecurPost Personal costs $25 for 5, and Buffer Essentials costs $30. Nobody should switch a 5-account roster to save money.

A six-client agency with 18 accounts, 3 team members, and per-client approvals pays Social Champ $149, because six separated workspaces exceed Professional’s cap of three. RecurPost Agency covers the same roster for $79 with a separate workspace per client and the staged approval workflow included. A sixth reviewing client passes the 5 shareable calendars Agency includes, so add a $10 block of 10 and price that roster at $89. RecurPost saves that agency $60 per month, $720 per year.

A 30-account brand team with 10 users flips the result. Social Champ Agency covers all of it for $149 with unlimited users. RecurPost needs $79 plus 10 extra accounts at $4 and 7 extra members at $20, which totals $259. Social Champ costs $110 per month less for that team, and no tool in the groups above prices it lower.

A 20-account roster on Social Champ’s Growth pay-as-you-go tier costs $130 per month, at 10 profiles for $9 and 10 for $4, with unlimited users and listening included. RecurPost Agency prices the same roster at $79 without listening. That $51 gap buys Social Champ’s listening and open user count, so pay it only if you use them. Head count decides the direction of this switch more than account count does. See RecurPost pricing for every add-on with its unit price.

When Staying on Social Champ Is the Right Call

Social Champ keeps four things most of this page cannot replace:

  1. Social Champ publishes to WhatsApp Business and Mastodon, plus Discord in beta, and no tool in the groups above covers even the first two.
  2. Social Champ’s Agency plan carries unlimited users at $149, which beats every per-seat and per-member model here once the team passes about eight people.
  3. Social Champ’s free plan of 3 accounts and 15 scheduled posts exists at all, where RecurPost sells only a trial.
  4. Social Champ’s pay-as-you-go volume tiers drop to $1 or $2 per profile past account 40, which keeps very large single-team rosters cheap.

A large in-house team on one or two workspaces, a roster with WhatsApp Business channels, or a 50-account operation run by a single coordinator should stay. The gates that push agencies out never touch those buyers.

Where RecurPost Fits a Social Champ Roster, and Where It Does Not

RecurPost fits the roster that hit Social Champ’s gates. The six-client agency from the math above lands on RecurPost because every client gets a separated workspace with staged internal and client approvals on the Agency plan at $79, every client connects accounts through a password-free email or link invite, and 20 social accounts cost $79 flat with no per-user seat charge, plus $10 for the calendar block a sixth reviewing client needs. RecurPost surfaces failed posts with a reason drawn from 850+ documented platform error types, so a rejected post shows up as a fixable item instead of a silent gap in the calendar. Social Champ’s calendar draws no such distinction, because scheduled, published, and failed posts carry no status colors and look identical until opened.

RecurPost publishes to these networks on its paid plans:

  • Facebook Pages, Groups, and personal profiles, the last two through mobile push notifications
  • Instagram, including Feed, Story, and Reels, plus personal profiles through push notifications
  • X, with an X Wallet the account funds to pay the $0.20 per-link fee
  • LinkedIn, including PDF documents and carousels
  • Pinterest
  • Google Business Profile, with CTA buttons
  • YouTube, including Shorts
  • TikTok
  • Threads
  • Bluesky

RecurPost adds comment-to-DM automation on Instagram, where Social Champ offers saved reply templates and no DM automation.

RecurPost does not fit teams that need WhatsApp Business or Mastodon publishing, buyers whose deliverable is listening or benchmarking reports, agencies that need a differently shaped approval workflow for each client, or big in-house teams where Social Champ’s unlimited-user Agency plan prices the seats lower. Those buyers have better answers in the groups above, or in staying put.

Moving Off Social Champ

Run both tools in parallel through a trial period rather than cutting over on a deadline. Download any media stored only in Social Champ’s library before the subscription lapses. A move from Social Champ to RecurPost then takes four steps:

  1. Reconnect each client’s accounts in RecurPost first, because client-owned channels need the client to approve access again.
  2. Import the last 6 months of posted content from each connected social account, which rebuilds a working content library without CSV exports.
  3. Build the workflow stages once at the account level, since RecurPost applies those stages across every client workspace.
  4. Assign roles per client workspace, then name an Account Manager for each client before the first post enters Writing.

RecurPost’s setup order matters because stages come before invitations. A teammate invited into a workspace picks up the stages that already exist there. A brand-new client profile with no posting history has nothing to import, so start those clients with a fresh library instead. The RecurPost migration checklist runs the longer version of the same move.

Which Social Champ Alternative Fits an Agency That Needs Client Approvals?

The fit depends on the roster size and on who signs off. RecurPost fits an agency past three separated clients that needs internal review and client sign-off on every post, because RecurPost’s Agency plan covers 20 social accounts for $79 per month with a separate workspace per client and the staged approval workflow included. HeyOrca fits an agency whose clients never post to X, at $59 per workspace with unlimited users. Vista Social fits an agency that wants approvals sitting beside review management, at $79 per month for 15 profiles and $108 once X publishing joins. Sendible fits a budget past $99, where Client Connect and approvals start together. RecurPost does not fit an agency that needs a differently shaped workflow for each client, because RecurPost’s stages are account-wide. An agency running eight or more people out of one or two workspaces pays less on Social Champ’s unlimited-user Agency plan at $149.

Does RecurPost Have Team Roles and Permissions Like Social Champ?

RecurPost has team roles and permissions on every plan from $9, assigned per workspace. RecurPost starts every account with role templates, Contributor, Writer, Editor, and Publisher, and the owner can edit a template or build a custom role by ticking individual permissions. Social Champ assigns Admin, Editor, or Author per workspace at invite time, where the Admin can approve and decline posts and the Editor cannot, because the Editor lacks the Manage Teams permission. Social Champ’s Author role manages only its own posts and can be limited to selected profiles.

What Happens When a Client Does Not Review a RecurPost Post in Time?

RecurPost acts on the rule the account owner set for that stage. RecurPost can hold the post, approve it automatically, escalate it to the next approver, or reschedule it. Each RecurPost stage carries a timeout of 4, 8, 24, 48, or 72 hours, or 7 days, and the default Client Review stage runs 72 hours and then moves the post one day later. RecurPost warns the assigned role at 50 percent and 80 percent of the timeout and again once the stage is overdue.

Which Social Champ Competitors Let Clients Sign Off Without a Login?

RecurPost’s clients open a shareable calendar and approve each post or request changes with one button, without logging in, and RecurPost onboards each client through a password-free email or link invite on the Agency plan at $79 per month. Sendible handles the same password-free connection through Client Connect, which starts on its $99 Plus plan. HeyOrca builds each of its per-workspace tiers around review rounds, at $59 and $149 per workspace with unlimited users. Social Champ’s multi-layer approval workflow, from the $59 Professional plan, emails an external approver a link to the post, and Social Champ’s other access runs through user seats, 2 on Standard and 5 on Professional. RecurPost’s team tracks that review on a Kanban board included from the $9 Starter plan, where each post moves as a card with an assignee, labels, and a media preview.

Which Social Champ Alternative Is Cheapest for a Solo Creator?

Buffer costs the least at 3 or fewer channels, where it is free, and $6 per channel after that. Publer starts at a $5 base plus $4 per extra account. RecurPost Starter covers 2 social accounts for $9 per month with the scheduler, team roles, and the Kanban board, and RecurPost’s client approvals start on Agency at $79. Social Champ’s own Starter pay-as-you-go tier at $5 per profile stays competitive for a solo user who never needs approvals.

What Do 20 Social Accounts Cost After Leaving Social Champ?

RecurPost Agency covers 20 accounts for $79 per month with 3 team members. Vista Social reaches 15 accounts at $79 and needs the $149 Advanced plan for 30, plus $29 for X. Buffer Essentials prices 20 channels at $120 without approvals. Social Champ prices the same 20 accounts at $90 on Starter pay-as-you-go with 1 user and no approvals, $130 on Growth, or inside the $149 Agency bundle.

Do Any Social Champ Alternatives Publish to WhatsApp or Mastodon?

Buffer publishes to Mastodon. None of the tools this page names publishes to WhatsApp Business, and RecurPost, Vista Social, Metricool, Sendible, and Buffer all skip it. A roster that depends on WhatsApp Business broadcasts should stay on Social Champ or add a dedicated WhatsApp tool beside the new scheduler.

Which Social Champ Alternatives Include Social Listening?

Sprout Social sells listening as an add-on from its Standard plan at $199 per seat annual upward, Hootsuite includes listening in its higher tiers, Agorapulse covers it from $99 per user monthly, and Vista Social offers it as a $75 add-on. Social Champ’s own listening costs $29 on Professional and comes bundled at Agency. RecurPost, Buffer, Publer, and Metricool have no social listening.

Is Social Champ’s Agency Plan Good Value at $149?

Social Champ Agency bundles 30 accounts, unlimited users, unlimited workspaces, listening, and white-label reports for $149 per month, or $119 annual. For a 10-person team those unlimited seats price lower than RecurPost’s equivalent build at $259 and far lower than per-seat tools like Sprout Social. For a 3-person agency with 20 accounts, RecurPost Agency delivers the workspace and approval structure for $79, so the answer depends on head count.

Try RecurPost

RecurPost’s Agency plan covers 20 social accounts for $79 per month, with a separate workspace per client, the staged approval workflow, and 3 team members included. RecurPost bills per social account, so leaving Social Champ’s workspace tiers keeps the bill flat as the client list grows.
