Onlypult alternatives split by the gap that pushes a buyer out. The groups below match each Onlypult gap to the tools that close it, starting with failed posts. Each group also states where RecurPost fits and where it does not.
| The gap moving you | Closest fit | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| Failed posts reach the client before you | RecurPost | $9/mo |
| Approvals stop at the $25 Start plan | RecurPost | $79/mo (Agency, 20 accounts) |
| One person needs different access per client | RecurPost | $79/mo (Agency, client workspaces); roles from $9/mo |
| A dated interface, with depth everywhere | Vista Social | $79/mo |
| Analytics past Instagram, plus ads | Metricool | Free (1 brand) |
| Solo, and $25 is too much | Buffer | Free (3 channels) |
| Instagram-only planning | Planoly | $16/mo |
| Listening reports for enterprise stakeholders | Sprout Social or Hootsuite | $99/seat/mo |
Every pick in that table misses somewhere. Onlypult alternatives are social media management platforms that replace some mix of Onlypult’s account-bundle pricing, Instagram-centered analytics, and Telegram or VKontakte publishing reach. No replacement on this page matches Onlypult’s reach on those messaging and Eastern European networks. See the alternatives at a glance.
Onlypult Alternatives at a Glance
Twelve tools close at least one of the gaps above, and Onlypult itself closes the gap that resolves by staying put. The table below names the buyer each tool fits.
| # | Tool | Fits when | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | RecurPost | A failed post needs its reason attached, one person needs different access per client, and clients sign off inside staged deadlines | $9/mo (2 profiles); Agency $79/mo for 20 profiles and 3 users |
| 2 | Sendible | Clients connect their accounts from the agency’s own page and the budget clears $99 | $29/mo (6 profiles); Client Connect from $99/mo |
| 3 | HeyOrca | Client review drives the switch and no client posts to X | Free tier; $59 per workspace |
| 4 | Vista Social | Full-suite depth and a modern interface justify the loaded cost | $79/mo (15 profiles, 2 users); X +$29/mo, listening +$75/mo |
| 5 | Publer | Modern, cheap scheduling with pre-publish validation is enough | $5 first account, $4 each extra |
| 6 | Metricool | Reporting past Instagram, plus ads management, drives the switch | Free (1 brand); $25/mo for 5 brands |
| 7 | Buffer | A solo operator runs 3 or fewer channels with no client workflow | Free (3 channels); $6/channel/mo after |
| 8 | Planoly | A solo creator plans Instagram only | $16/mo |
| 9 | Sprout Social | Listening reports go to enterprise stakeholders | $99/seat/mo ($79 annual) |
| 10 | Hootsuite | Enterprise listening runs at larger scale | $99 to $399/user/mo (annual) |
| 11 | Agorapulse | Listening and an inbox cost less per user | $99/user/mo ($79 annual) |
| 12 | Onlypult | The roster needs Telegram or VKontakte, or a large account count at the lowest price | $25 to $99/mo; Agency $65/mo for 25 accounts |

Why Agencies and Creators Leave Onlypult
Onlypult publishes to 16 networks, including Telegram, VKontakte, Tumblr, and Medium, so platform coverage rarely drives the exit. Five other gaps do.
- Onlypult holds content approval until its $35 SMM plan. Onlypult’s $25 Start plan schedules posts for 5 accounts and 2 team members, so a Start buyer who lands a client needing sign-off pays 40 percent more before the first review round runs.
- Onlypult reviewers describe recurring error messages when scheduling video posts and support replies that do not resolve them. Reviewers also report verification-code prompts and security alerts when connecting Instagram accounts.
- Onlypult’s analytics center on Instagram. Onlypult’s plan grid lists Instagram account metrics, audience, posts and Reels, and Stories as its analytics rows. Onlypult’s best-time-to-post recommendations cover Instagram only, and Onlypult holds analytics history to 1 month on Start and starts its custom report builder on SMM.
- Onlypult’s interface draws the most consistent criticism in independent reviews, which describe a dashboard that looks and feels like the mid 2010s. Onlypult started as an Instagram posting tool, and the product still shows that heritage outside Instagram.
- Onlypult caps resources by plan. Onlypult’s AI credits run from 100 per month on Start to 1,000 on Pro, and file uploads cap at 100 MB on Start and 500 MB on Pro. A video-heavy team hits Onlypult’s file ceiling before its account ceiling.

A four-person studio managing 12 client accounts on Onlypult SMM pays about $50 per month, the $35 plan plus two extra profiles at $5 each and one extra seat at $5. That studio starts shopping the week a launch Reel fails with a generic error and the client emails first. That studio’s trigger returns in the failure, approvals, and per-client access groups below.
A team publishing to Telegram, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, or Medium has not outgrown Onlypult at all. Almost no Western scheduler covers those networks, and the staying-on-Onlypult section below covers that case.
What an Onlypult Replacement Has to Cover
Onlypult prices in account bundles. Onlypult Start includes 5 accounts and 2 team members, SMM includes 10 and 3, Agency includes 25 and 10, and Pro includes 50 and 20. Onlypult charges $5 per month for an extra profile ($2 on Pro) and $5 per extra team member ($3 on Pro). Most Onlypult alternatives price per account, per channel, per brand, or per user seat, so count your roster as a flat account number and a flat seat number first.
Run three Onlypult-specific checks against that roster:
- Find the plan tier where client approvals start. Onlypult holds them until $35, Buffer until its Team plan, Metricool until $67, and RecurPost until Agency at $79.
- Check who drafts, who reviews, and who publishes, then check whether one person can hold different access on different clients.
- Confirm analytics for every platform your clients report on, not just Instagram.
The coverage table below settles the approval-tier and pricing-unit checks for the tools this page recommends most often.
| Tool | Client approvals included from | Pricing unit | X publishing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Onlypult | SMM, $35/mo | Account bundles (5 to 50) | Yes, all plans |
| RecurPost | Agency, $79/mo | Per social account | Yes, every paid plan |
| Buffer | Team, $12/channel/mo | Per channel | Yes |
| Metricool | Advanced, $67/mo | Per brand | Paid add-on |
| Vista Social | Included in plans | Profile bundles (15 or 30) | Add-on, $29/mo |
Sources: Onlypult, Buffer, Metricool, and Vista Social pricing pages. Competitor cells verified July 2026, Onlypult’s approval row verified September 15, 2026. RecurPost verified September 15, 2026.
RecurPost separates those plan facts. RecurPost includes the internal and external approval workflow plus client workspaces on the Agency plan at $79 per month. RecurPost includes team roles, permissions, and the Kanban board on every plan, starting with Starter at $9 per month. Onlypult’s pricing page lists Role assignment as included on all four of its plans.
RecurPost’s directory of social media scheduling alternatives runs the checks that apply to every tool across 40+ alternatives, including what happens when a post fails, the loaded cost once each add-on joins the base plan, and the platform parity you would gain or lose. The groups below run the Onlypult-specific checks only.
Onlypult Alternatives by Switching Trigger
Failed Posts Reach Clients Before You Do
| Closest fit | RecurPost, or Publer for pre-publish validation |
| RecurPost fits when | A failed post needs its reason attached before the client notices |
| Publer fits when | Preventing the failure matters more than explaining it |
| Buffer does not fit | Buffer surfaces no error when a post fails |
RecurPost checks every failed post against 850+ documented platform failure types and attaches the reason. A rejected Google Business Profile post reaches RecurPost’s rejection monitoring instead of disappearing, and an expired Instagram token names itself instead of producing a generic error. The four-person studio above buys exactly this visibility.
Publer works the front end of the same problem. Publer validates a post before scheduling it and blocks the schedule when it finds an error, which prevents a class of failures rather than explaining them.
Buffer is the cautionary pick in this group. Buffer surfaces no error when a post fails, so the post simply does not go out and the agency finds it by hand. A buyer leaving Onlypult over silent failures would rebuild the same problem on Buffer.
RecurPost fits this trigger from $9 per month, where the reason behind a failure matters more than anything else on the shortlist. RecurPost does not fit a buyer whose real priority is listening or benchmarking, because RecurPost carries neither.
Client Approvals Stop at Onlypult’s Start Plan
| Closest fit | RecurPost for approval stages with deadlines, Sendible or HeyOrca for specific tradeoffs |
| RecurPost fits when | Every post needs internal review and client sign-off, a missed deadline must not stall the calendar, and each client needs a named second approver |
| Sendible fits when | The budget clears $99 for a client-connect flow on the agency’s own site |
| HeyOrca fits when | The roster has zero X clients |
| Onlypult still fits when | The lowest approval entry price decides, at $35 on SMM |
Onlypult lists Content approval on SMM, Agency, and Pro, and not on Start. Onlypult describes that feature on its own pricing page as choosing the team members who need to approve a post before publishing. Onlypult lists access rights for employees and clients from SMM upward as well, and Onlypult’s collaboration model gives team members no direct access to the connected social accounts.
RecurPost answers this trigger on the Agency plan at $79 per month. RecurPost’s Agency plan covers 20 social accounts, 3 team members, client workspaces, and the internal and external approval workflow. The price gap against Onlypult SMM is real, and the depth below is what the gap buys.
RecurPost runs approvals as a staged workflow on a Kanban board. The account owner configures the stages once for the whole account, because an agency’s review process stays the same from one client to the next. RecurPost’s stages come in three types: work, internal review, and client review. Each RecurPost post then crosses the board between the Ideas and Scheduled columns as a card with an assignee, labels, and a media preview.
RecurPost seeds every account with a default four-step workflow:
- A writer drafts the post in the Writing stage.
- A manager clears the post in the Manager Review stage within 48 hours, or RecurPost escalates it.
- The client signs off in the Client Review stage within 72 hours, or RecurPost moves the post one day later.
- A client who requests changes sends the post back to Writing with their comments.
RecurPost lets the owner rename, add, and remove those stages. The owner sets each stage’s deadline at 4, 8, 24, 48, or 72 hours, or at 7 days. RecurPost warns the assigned role at 50 percent and 80 percent of that deadline, and again once the stage runs overdue. The owner also picks what RecurPost does when the deadline passes:
- RecurPost holds the post in its stage until someone acts.
- RecurPost approves the post automatically and moves it on.
- RecurPost escalates the post to the next approver.
- RecurPost reschedules the post, so a late client review never publishes on the wrong day.
RecurPost’s client review stage needs no login from the client. The client opens RecurPost’s shareable calendar, then approves each post or requests changes with one button. RecurPost also names an Account Manager for each workspace. RecurPost’s Account Manager is a guaranteed second approver and can approve on the client’s behalf, and RecurPost logs every approval made that way.
| Approval capability | Onlypult | RecurPost |
|---|---|---|
| Approvals included from | SMM, $35/mo | Agency, $79/mo |
| Who approves | Team members chosen to approve a post before publishing | Editors at internal review stages, clients at client review stages, plus a named Account Manager |
| Stage deadlines | Not listed in Onlypult’s pricing feature grid | 4, 8, 24, 48, or 72 hours, or 7 days |
| When a deadline passes | Not listed in Onlypult’s pricing feature grid | Holds, approves automatically, escalates, or reschedules the post |
| Client-facing review | Access rights for employees and clients, plus shared post and calendar links, from SMM upward | Client approves or requests changes on the shareable calendar without logging in |

Approval workflows are common in this category, so the stage deadline is the part worth checking. HeyOrca moves a post through Draft, Awaiting approval, Approved, and Revise, and HeyOrca reminds approvers 24 hours, 3 days, or 7 days before publish time. Vista Social routes multi-step approvals in a set order and runs a Kanban board inside its Vista Work projects, and Vista Social reaches escalation through the third-party ApproveThis integration. Metricool, Publer, Planable, Sked Social, and Sprout Social all document approval steps of their own. None of those vendors documents a stage deadline that holds, auto-approves, escalates, or reschedules a post on its own.
Sources: HeyOrca approval stages, HeyOrca approval reminders, Vista Work project views, ApproveThis for Vista Social, Metricool team roles, Publer member roles, Planable, Sked Social approvals board, and Sprout Social. Verified September 15, 2026.
Sendible and HeyOrca each answer part of this trigger. Sendible onboards clients through Client Connect, which lets a client connect their accounts from the agency’s own page without password sharing, and Sendible puts both Client Connect and approval workflows on its $99 Plus plan. Sendible’s $29 Core plan covers 6 profiles with unlimited users and includes neither, so Sendible carries a plan jump of its own here. HeyOrca prices per client workspace, a free tier and then $59 per workspace on monthly billing, and HeyOrca lets external stakeholders review posts through a link with no account. HeyOrca dropped direct X publishing in April 2026, so an X-carrying roster rules HeyOrca out immediately.
The four-person studio maps onto RecurPost’s default workflow directly. The freelance writer drafts inside the Writing stage. The account manager clears Manager Review within 48 hours from the board. The client signs off within 72 hours, or the post reschedules itself by a day instead of publishing unapproved.
RecurPost does not fit a buyer shopping for the lowest approval entry price. Onlypult reaches content approval at $35 on SMM, where RecurPost’s approval workflow starts at $79 on Agency. Onlypult Agency also bundles 10 team members into $65, while RecurPost Agency includes 3 and charges $20 per extra member. Compare RecurPost plans against your seat count before you price the switch.
Your Team Needs Different Team Roles for Different Clients
| Closest fit | RecurPost for per-client roles at small-plan prices |
| RecurPost fits when | One person’s access must differ from client to client, and the agency wants that separation below Agency pricing, from $29 per month once the shared member is added |
| RecurPost does not fit when | The agency wants a different stage chain per client, or needs many team members cheaply |
| Onlypult still fits when | Role assignment plus its 10-member Agency bundle at $65 covers the team |
RecurPost includes team roles and permissions on every plan, starting with Starter at $9 per month. Starter and Personal include 1 user each, and RecurPost charges $20 per month for every extra team member, so a shared teammate holding different access on different clients starts at $29 per month, the $9 Starter plan plus one member. RecurPost opens every account with role templates:
| RecurPost role | What the role can do |
|---|---|
| Contributor | Writes their own drafts and sends them for review, with no access to other people’s posts or approvals |
| Writer | Writes and edits posts, manages the content library, and replies in the inbox |
| Editor | Approves posts at internal review stages, edits anyone’s work, and manages the inbox |
| Publisher | Publishes and schedules, handles client approvals, exports reports, and manages the team |
RecurPost also lets the owner edit a template or build a custom role by ticking individual permissions. RecurPost’s permissions cover posts, approvals and publishing, social profiles, and the content library. RecurPost’s permissions also cover the inbox, reports, DM automations, paid ads, client review, and workspace and team settings. Turning off a section such as Paid ads or Inbox hides that page from the member’s sidebar. A member who tries a blocked action sees the exact permission to ask the workspace owner for.
RecurPost assigns roles per workspace, so one person holds different access on different clients. A freelance writer shared across a five-client roster can be a Writer on two clients, an Editor on a third, and have no access to the rest. RecurPost also puts the Kanban board on every plan, with cards carrying an assignee, labels, and a media preview between the Ideas and Scheduled columns.
RecurPost sends each role only the alerts for the stages that role works in, by email and in the mobile app. Those alerts cover:
- A post assigned to a member, and posts awaiting that member’s review.
- A post approved, and a post sent back with a change request.
- A stage deadline nearing, and a stage deadline missed.
- A client approval, a client rejection, and an urgent client approval request.
- A publish success, a publish failure, and an account that needs reconnecting.
Onlypult covers part of this trigger already. Onlypult’s pricing page lists Role assignment as included on all four plans, from Start upward, and describes it as assigning roles to team members according to their tasks. Onlypult lists access rights for employees and clients from SMM upward, and Onlypult keeps team members out of the connected accounts themselves.
RecurPost does not fit an agency that wants its stage chain to differ per client, because RecurPost’s workflow stages are account-wide and only the account owner edits them. RecurPost also does not fit a team that needs many members cheaply, because Onlypult Agency bundles 10 team members into $65 where RecurPost charges $20 per member past the three on Agency.

The Interface Feels Dated and You Want Depth Everywhere
| Closest fit | Vista Social for full-suite teams, Publer for solo operators |
| Vista Social fits when | A $108 loaded monthly cost with X included clears the budget |
| Publer fits when | Modern and cheap matters more than full-suite depth |
| RecurPost does not fit | RecurPost’s interface is utilitarian, not a polish upgrade |
Vista Social fits when a modern interface has to arrive with full-suite depth behind it. Vista Social’s Professional plan covers 15 profiles and 2 users at $79 per month with a custom report builder, a social inbox with assignment and saved replies, DM automation flows, and ads management. Vista Social sells X publishing at $29 per month and cross-web listening at $75 per month, so the loaded cost climbs fast.
Publer answers the same trigger at solo scale. Publer runs a clean dashboard with a dark mode at $5 per month for the first social account and $4 for each extra one, and Publer’s mobile app is stronger than most rivals’. Publer carries no inbox, no white-label reports, and no DM automation, so Publer stays a scheduler.
RecurPost does not fix this trigger. RecurPost’s interface is utilitarian, and a buyer leaving Onlypult over polish would judge RecurPost the same way.
You Need Analytics Beyond Instagram, or Ads
| Closest fit | Metricool |
| Metricool fits when | Reporting depth across platforms, plus ads management, drives the switch |
| RecurPost fits when | Clients want white-label PDF reports across 10 platforms with no competitor benchmarks |
| RecurPost does not fit when | The agency sells competitor benchmarking |
Metricool answers this trigger with reporting and ads management in one dashboard, priced per brand. Metricool’s free plan covers 1 brand with up to 20 posts per month, and Metricool sells X publishing as an add-on on every tier. Metricool’s $25 Starter covers 5 brands with unlimited publishing and its $45 tier covers 10, Google Business Profile works on every tier, and ads management sits inside the same dashboard. One Metricool brand holds one client’s whole profile set, so 10 brands can mean 10 clients, which makes Metricool’s $45 tier cover far more surface than Onlypult’s 10-account SMM plan at $35.
RecurPost competes here through its Custom Reports builder. RecurPost assembles reports by drag and drop from 200+ metrics across 10 platforms, with 58 templates and 11 chart types. RecurPost’s reports carry audience demographics: Instagram and Facebook age, gender, and location, plus LinkedIn industry, seniority, and function. RecurPost’s reports also include Meta ads reporting metrics and Google Business reviews. RecurPost delivers a white-label PDF as a download or emails it to up to 25 recipients, and RecurPost’s Chat with Reports AI answers questions about the numbers inside the report.
RecurPost offers no competitor benchmarking, so an agency that sells benchmarking fits Metricool better. Metricool buyers with X-heavy rosters should price the X add-on before committing.
You Are Solo and $25 Is Too Much
| Closest fit | Buffer at 3 or fewer channels, RecurPost Starter at 2 accounts, Publer per account |
| Buffer fits when | 3 or fewer channels carry no client workflow |
| RecurPost fits when | A solo manager at 2 accounts wants a board view, roles, and bulk staging |
| Onlypult Start fits when | You need exactly 5 accounts, because Buffer saves nothing there |
Buffer costs the least at small scale. Buffer’s free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel, and Buffer Essentials costs $6 per channel per month on monthly billing. Buffer asks for account credentials at connection and shows no error when a post fails, which matters more as clients enter the picture.
RecurPost Starter covers 2 social accounts for $9 per month. RecurPost Starter carries these tools at that price:
- Team roles and permissions, including custom roles.
- The Kanban board, with its Ideas and Scheduled columns.
- Bulk CSV uploads of hundreds of posts.
- RSS feed and Google Alerts import.
- X publishing, with the account-funded X Wallet paying X’s $0.20 per-link posting fee.
RecurPost Starter does not carry the client approval workflow, which starts on Agency at $79. Publer lands in the same price range at $5 for the first account plus $4 per extra.
Onlypult holds its own at exactly 5 accounts. Onlypult Start costs $25 for 5 accounts, Buffer Essentials reaches $30 for the same 5 channels, and RecurPost reaches 5 accounts at $21, the $9 Starter plan plus three extra accounts at $4 each. A 5-account solo operator saves nothing by moving to Buffer.
You Only Ever Used Onlypult for Instagram
| Closest fit | Planoly |
| Planoly fits when | A solo Instagram-first creator has no team or X plans |
| Planoly does not fit when | You are adding a team or an X presence |
Planoly fits the Instagram-only creator, because Instagram planning is the whole product rather than one view inside a general scheduler. Planoly’s Starter plan costs $16 per month with grid planning as the core of the product, a dedicated Instagram dashboard, and a creator store. Onlypult’s Instagram heritage means many of its solo users only ever touched the Instagram half, and those users pay $25 for coverage they do not use.
Planoly’s limits arrive quickly outside that case. Planoly cannot auto-post to X, Planoly’s team invitations are unreliable, and Planoly’s analytics sit in beta. A creator planning to add a team or an X presence fits the groups above instead.
You Need Social Listening or Enterprise Monitoring
| Closest fit | Sprout Social or Hootsuite for enterprise, Agorapulse for lower per-user pricing |
| Agorapulse fits when | Keyword monitoring and a strong inbox matter at a lower per-user price |
| Sprout Social or Hootsuite fits when | Listening reports go to enterprise stakeholders |
| RecurPost does not fit | RecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis at any price |
Sprout Social and Hootsuite fit when listening reports go to enterprise stakeholders and the per-seat price is not the constraint. Sprout Social’s Essentials plan runs $99 per seat on monthly billing ($79 on annual), Sprout Social’s Standard plan runs $199 per seat on annual billing, and Sprout Social sells social listening as an add-on. Hootsuite runs $99 per user on annual billing for Standard with 10 accounts, $199 for Professional, and $399 for Advanced, with listening in the higher tiers. Agorapulse covers keyword monitoring, sentiment, and competitor tracking at $99 per user on monthly billing ($79 on annual) with a strong inbox.
Onlypult’s product line of Publishing, Analytics, Social Inbox, and Builder carries no listening product, so this trigger means leaving Onlypult’s class of tool entirely. RecurPost does not compete in this group either. An agency that sells listening reports should shortlist Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or Agorapulse and treat every other tool on this page as a scheduler.
Where RecurPost Fits an Onlypult Team, and Where It Does Not
RecurPost fits the four-person studio from the top of this page. RecurPost Agency covers that studio’s 12 client accounts at $79 per month, plus $20 for the fourth team member, against about $50 on Onlypult SMM. RecurPost’s extra $49 per month buys the two things that sent the studio shopping. The failed launch Reel surfaces with its reason attached. Every client connects their own accounts through an email or link invite, which ends the security-alert emails. Each post then crosses the board from writer to account manager to client, and a client who goes quiet past 72 hours gets the post rescheduled rather than published unapproved. RecurPost also gives the studio’s Google Business Profile clients CTA buttons such as Book, Call Now, and Offer, plus post-rejection monitoring.
RecurPost does not fit an Onlypult team that depends on any of these:
- RecurPost does not publish to Telegram, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Tumblr, Medium, or WordPress. Onlypult publishes to all six.
- RecurPost has no link-in-bio product and no landing-page builder. Onlypult bundles its Builder micro-site tool into every plan.
- RecurPost has no social listening and no sentiment analysis.
- RecurPost offers no competitor benchmarking.
- RecurPost’s interface is utilitarian. RecurPost handles large client rosters and wins no design awards doing it.
- RecurPost keeps its workflow stages account-wide, so an agency that wants a different stage chain per client cannot have one.
- RecurPost Agency includes 3 team members against Onlypult Agency’s 10, and charges $20 per month for each extra member.
- RecurPost does not publish to Snapchat, and RecurPost publishes X posts over 280 characters only when the client has their own X Premium subscription.
Agencies that switched anyway did it for failure visibility and client workflow. The RecurPost case studies show which rosters made that trade and why.
Onlypult Pricing Against the Alternatives, Both Ways
Want the numbers for your own roster? The social media tool pricing calculator prices 36 schedulers, including OnlyPult, for your profiles, seats, clients and must-have features, with the arithmetic shown.
Nobody should leave Onlypult to save money. Onlypult’s account bundles sit among the cheapest in this category, and the table shows it.
| Tool | Base plan (monthly billing) | Social accounts included | What changes the real cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Onlypult Agency | $65 | 25 | 10 team members included; extra account $5/mo; 12-month billing drops 30% |
| RecurPost Agency | $79 | 20 | Approval workflow, client workspaces, white-label reports, and 3 team members included; extra account $4/mo; extra member $20/mo |
| Buffer Essentials | $6 per channel | Per channel | Approvals need Team at $12/channel; no error shown on failed posts |
| Vista Social Professional | $79 | 15 | X publishing adds $29/mo; listening adds $75/mo |
| Metricool Starter | $25 | 5 brands (1 brand = 1 client’s profiles) | 10 brands cost $45; X publishing costs extra as an add-on |
| Publer | $5 first account, $4 each extra | Per account | Cheap at small scale; per-account pricing grows with the roster |
Sources: Onlypult, Buffer, Vista Social, Metricool, and Publer pricing pages. Competitor prices verified July 2026. RecurPost verified September 15, 2026. Onlypult discounts 15 percent on 6-month terms and 30 percent on 12-month terms, and the other vendors discount roughly 17 to 25 percent on annual billing.
A 25-account team with 5 users pays Onlypult $65 per month, or $45.50 on a 12-month term. The same roster on RecurPost costs $79 for Agency, $20 for five extra accounts, and $40 for two extra team members, which totals $139. Onlypult wins that scenario by $74 a month, and no reliability argument erases a gap that size for a team that has not felt the failures.
A six-client agency at 18 accounts and 3 users pays RecurPost Agency $79 against Onlypult Agency at $65. Onlypult stays $14 cheaper on paper. RecurPost’s $79 buys a failure reason on every post, password-free client onboarding, and staged approvals inside each client’s workspace. If no client on your roster has felt a failed post or asked about a security alert, staying on Onlypult is the rational call.
A 10-client reporting-led agency pays Metricool $45 for 10 brands where Onlypult’s SMM plan covers only 10 individual accounts for $35. One Metricool brand carries a whole client’s profile set, so Metricool covers several times the surface for $10 more. RecurPost bills per social account rather than per brand, so a 10-client roster prices on its total account count, and RecurPost answers the reporting trigger with a builder covering 200+ metrics across 10 platforms and no competitor benchmarks.
A full-suite buyer pays Vista Social $108 loaded, the $79 plan plus the $29 X add-on, for 15 profiles against Onlypult’s $65 for 25. Vista Social costs $43 more for fewer accounts and answers for it with a report builder, an inbox, DM automation, and ads management that Onlypult lacks. RecurPost Agency prices between the two, $79 for 20 social accounts with X publishing included on every paid plan. RecurPost boosts published Facebook and Instagram posts into ads, with budget, audience, and duration set inside RecurPost and billing through the connected Meta ad account, but RecurPost does not build ad campaigns from scratch.
When Staying on Onlypult Is the Right Call
Onlypult keeps three things almost nobody on this page replaces:
- Onlypult publishes to Telegram, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Tumblr, Medium, and WordPress. Among the tools here, only Publer touches even two of those, Telegram and WordPress.
- Onlypult bundles its Builder micro-site tool into every plan, which covers landing pages and link-in-bio pages, and sells the Shorty URL shortener alongside it.
- Onlypult’s Agency bundle of 25 accounts and 10 team members costs $65, or $45.50 on a 12-month term, which undercuts every full-suite rival on this page.
A team whose roster leans on Telegram or VKontakte should stay. A price-first team with a large account count and no reliability complaints should probably stay too, and pocket the 12-month discount.
Moving Off Onlypult
Onlypult sells 6-month and 12-month terms, so a move off Onlypult starts with the renewal date. The switch takes five steps:
- Check your Onlypult renewal date before anything else, because a 12-month term you just renewed changes the timing.
- Download your media and copy the captions of scheduled posts while your Onlypult plan is active, because staged content needs rebuilding in the new tool.
- Import the last 6 months of posted content per profile into RecurPost straight from each connected social account, which rebuilds a working content library without CSV formatting.
- Invite each client on the Agency plan to connect their own accounts to RecurPost through an email or link invite instead of collecting credentials again.
- Rebuild your Onlypult approval step as RecurPost workflow stages, then assign each teammate a role in every workspace they cover before the first post ships.
Run RecurPost’s 14-day trial alongside a live Onlypult schedule so no client calendar goes dark during the switch. RecurPost’s trial needs no credit card, so those 14 days of parallel running cost nothing while the Onlypult term plays out.
Onlypult Alternatives FAQs
How Much Does Onlypult Cost in 2026?
Onlypult sells four plans on monthly billing: Start at $25 (5 accounts, 2 team members), SMM at $35 (10 accounts, 3 members), Agency at $65 (25 accounts, 10 members), and Pro at $99 (50 accounts, 20 members). Onlypult discounts a 6-month term by 15 percent and a 12-month term by 30 percent. Onlypult charges $5 per month for an extra profile ($2 on Pro).
Which Onlypult Plan Includes Content Approval?
Onlypult includes content approval on SMM ($35), Agency ($65), and Pro ($99), and not on Start ($25). RecurPost includes its internal and external approval workflow on the Agency plan at $79 per month. Buffer holds approvals until its Team plan at $12 per channel.
Does RecurPost Have Team Roles and Permissions?
RecurPost has team roles and permissions on every plan, starting with Starter at $9 per month. RecurPost opens each account with role templates: Contributor, Writer, Editor, and Publisher. The account owner can edit a template or build a custom role by ticking individual permissions. RecurPost assigns roles per workspace, so one person can hold different access on different clients. Onlypult’s pricing page lists Role assignment on all four of its plans.
What Happens in RecurPost When a Reviewer Misses an Approval Deadline?
RecurPost applies the rule the account owner picked for that stage. RecurPost can hold the post, approve it automatically, escalate it to the next approver, or reschedule it. RecurPost warns the assigned role at 50 percent and 80 percent of the deadline, and again once the stage runs overdue. RecurPost’s default Client Review stage waits 72 hours and then moves the post one day later.
Can a Client Approve a Post Without a Login After Leaving Onlypult?
A client approves a RecurPost post without logging in, at the client review stage on the Agency plan. The client opens RecurPost’s shareable calendar and approves each post or requests changes with one button. A change request sends the post back to the Writing stage with the client’s comments attached.
Is There an Onlypult Alternative With Client Approvals and Team Roles?
RecurPost carries client approvals and team roles, on different plans. RecurPost includes team roles, permissions, and the Kanban board on every plan from Starter at $9 per month. RecurPost puts the internal and external approval workflow and client workspaces on Agency at $79 per month, where each stage carries a deadline that holds, approves, escalates, or reschedules the post. Onlypult lists Role assignment on all four of its plans and content approval from SMM at $35, so Onlypult reaches approvals at a lower price. Vista Social, Metricool, Publer, HeyOrca, Planable, Sked Social, and Sprout Social each document approval steps of their own.
Which Onlypult Alternatives Publish to Telegram or VKontakte?
Almost none. Publer publishes to Telegram and WordPress. RecurPost, Buffer, Metricool, Vista Social, and Sendible publish to none of Onlypult’s extra networks: Telegram, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Tumblr, and Medium. A roster built on those platforms should stay on Onlypult.
Is There a Free Onlypult Alternative?
Buffer’s free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel. Metricool’s free plan manages 1 brand with up to 20 posts per month, without X publishing. Publer’s free plan covers 3 accounts except X, and HeyOrca offers a free single-workspace tier. Onlypult itself offers a 7-day trial and no permanent free tier.
Which Onlypult Alternative Is Cheapest for a Solo Creator?
Buffer costs the least at 3 or fewer channels, which its free plan covers, and $6 per channel after that. Publer prices at $5 for the first account and $4 per extra. RecurPost Starter covers 2 social accounts for $9 with team roles, the Kanban board, and bulk CSV uploads included. Planoly starts at $16 for Instagram-first creators, and Onlypult’s cheapest plan is $25.
Do Any Onlypult Alternatives Offer Password-Free Client Onboarding?
RecurPost onboards clients on the Agency plan through an email or link invite, so the client connects their own accounts and never shares credentials. Sendible offers the same through Client Connect from its $99 Plus plan. HeyOrca lets external stakeholders review and approve posts through a link without an account, though HeyOrca does not publish to X.
What Does Replacing Onlypult Cost at 25 Social Accounts?
Onlypult Agency covers 25 accounts and 10 team members at $65 per month. RecurPost reaches 25 accounts at $99, the $79 Agency plan plus five extra accounts at $4 each, with 3 team members included. Vista Social’s Professional plan stops at 15 profiles for $79 plus $29 for X, so 25 accounts push it into a higher tier. The Onlypult number stays lowest, and the gap buys failure reporting, client onboarding, and workflow depth rather than savings.
Which Onlypult Alternative Fits an Agency Roster?
No single Onlypult alternative fits every agency. RecurPost fits an agency that needs a failure reason on every post, per-client team roles, and staged client sign-off, with 20 social accounts at $79 per month. Sendible fits an agency whose budget clears $99 for client onboarding on its own page. A client-review-led agency with no X clients fits HeyOrca at $59 per workspace, and a reporting-led agency fits Metricool at $45 for 10 brands. Vista Social fits full-suite depth at $108 loaded with X publishing. An agency publishing to Telegram or VKontakte, or running 25 accounts at the lowest price, stays on Onlypult at $65.
Try RecurPost
RecurPost’s Agency plan covers 20 social accounts for $79 per month, with client workspaces, the internal and external approval workflow, and 3 team members included. RecurPost bills per social account rather than per user seat, so the bill stays flat as the client list grows.
- RecurPost runs approval stages on Agency, with deadlines that hold, approve automatically, escalate, or reschedule a post.
- RecurPost onboards clients on Agency through password-free email or link invites.
- RecurPost includes team roles, custom permissions, and the Kanban board on every plan from $9 per month.
- RecurPost’s clients approve posts or request changes on the shareable calendar without logging in, at the client review stage on Agency.
- RecurPost attaches the reason to a failed post instead of leaving the agency to find it by hand.
- RecurPost posts to Google Business Profile with CTA buttons and monitors post rejections after acceptance.
- RecurPost adds social accounts at $4 per month and team members at $20 per month.
- RecurPost offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
RecurPost does not publish to Telegram, VKontakte, or Odnoklassniki, has no link-in-bio builder, and has no social listening. If your roster leans on those networks, or you need a large account count at the lowest possible price, Onlypult still wins that math.
