Facebook Scheduler

Schedule Facebook posts for every client Page, Group and profile

The RecurPost social media scheduler publishes to client Facebook Pages without anyone sharing a password. Pages publish on their own. Groups and personal profiles publish through a tap on your phone.

Schedule Facebook posts for every client Page, Group and profile

3  Facebook surfaces published

850+  platform errors handled

20  accounts for $79/mo

8,000  first-comment characters

Every Facebook post type, from one composer

RecurPost publishes three content types to Facebook Pages and keeps the Page-only extras most schedulers skip.

Feed posts

Text, image, video and link posts, with colored backgrounds and an 8,000-character first comment.

Stories

Vertical 9:16, auto-published to Pages.

Reels

Vertical 9:16 video with audio, auto-published to Pages.

Groups and profiles

Scheduled like any post. At publish time your phone gets a notification. Tap, review, publish.

RecurPost publishes to Pages through Facebook’s API with no step in between. Groups and personal profiles publish through the RecurPost mobile app because Meta retired automatic Group posting in April 2024. No scheduler can auto-post there anymore.

From client invite to published post

1

You invite the client by email or link.

2

The client logs into their own Facebook and picks their Pages. No password changes hands.

3

Your team queues posts on the social media calendar, or imports hundreds at once with bulk scheduling.

4

The client approves the queue. Approvals come with every paid plan, from $9 per month.

5

RecurPost publishes on schedule. Page posts go out on their own. Group posts arrive as phone notifications at post time.

In practice

An agency running 12 client Pages and 3 community Groups fills a month from one calendar. The Page posts publish themselves. The Group posts wait on the manager’s phone, three taps each.

Ads

Boost the winners without opening Ads Manager

A client’s post pulls three times its usual engagement. RecurPost boosts it from the same dashboard.

Cold-audience funnels, new ad creatives and lead-form campaigns still belong in Meta Ads Manager. RecurPost’s boost flow is amplification for posts that already earned it.

Reporting

Organic and boosted results in one client report

RecurPost’s Facebook report puts each Page’s reach, engagement and audience growth next to its boosted-post results. One story per client, not two exports. The PDF carries your agency’s logo instead of RecurPost’s, and label reports group every account a client owns into one document.

RecurPost’s inbox pulls comments and messages from every client Page into the same workspace, so the person who scheduled the post answers its comments.

Reliability

When a Facebook post fails, you get the cause and the fix

RecurPost recovers first and reports second.

RecurPost normalizes video to Facebook’s H.264 codec before upload, clamps the frame rate to 24 to 60 fps, and adds silent audio when the file has none.

RecurPost checks every image against Facebook’s size and dimension limits before upload and automatically shrinks anything too large, scaling the dimensions down and re-compressing the file so an oversized photo goes out cleanly instead of bouncing back as a failed post.

RecurPost upscales undersized Stories videos before upload. Facebook rejects small Stories but fixes small Reels itself. RecurPost handles the asymmetry.

A failure that survives recovery shows a named error from RecurPost’s 850+ catalog, with the cause and the fix. An expired token shows a one-click reconnect instead of a cryptic API code.

If a first comment does not post on the first try, RecurPost retries it about a minute later on its own, so the hashtags or link you park in the first comment do not quietly go missing while the main post publishes fine.

In practice

A Page token quietly expires over the weekend. Monday’s post fails loudly in the dashboard with the fix spelled out, instead of leaving a silent gap the client finds first.

Some schedulers drop failed posts silently, and the client notices before the agency does.

Facebook's rules, handled before publish day

Facebook's rules, handled before publish day

RecurPost’s image editor carries Facebook crop presets, strips EXIF data, and scales an oversized image’s longest edge down to 1920 pixels. Reels need 9:16 and audio; the composer flags a wrong ratio at compose time instead of failing at publish.

Facebook scheduler FAQs

No scheduler can. Meta retired the Groups API in April 2024, for every tool. RecurPost schedules the Group post, then sends a notification to its mobile app at publish time. You tap the notification, review the post and publish it in seconds.

Clients connect their Facebook Pages through an email or link invite. The client logs into their own Facebook, picks the Pages, and the connection lands in their workspace. No password changes hands and the client doesn’t need a paid seat.

RecurPost publishes feed posts (text, image, video and link), Stories and Reels to Facebook Pages. Text-only posts can use colored background presets, and a first comment up to 8,000 characters posts automatically after publish.

RecurPost fixes media before Facebook sees it. Images get EXIF-stripped and scaled to fit. Video gets normalized to H.264 with the frame rate clamped to 24 to 60 fps, and RecurPost adds a silent audio track when the file has none. Undersized Stories videos get upscaled because Facebook rejects them while fixing undersized Reels itself.

RecurPost boosts published Page posts. You connect the client’s ad account, choose a saved audience, set budget, dates and a CTA, and run engagement, awareness or traffic objectives in a new or existing campaign. RecurPost estimates the bid from audience size and budget. New ad creatives and lead-form campaigns stay in Meta Ads Manager.

RecurPost shows a named error with the cause and the fix, drawn from a catalog of 850+ handled platform errors. An expired token gets a one-click reconnect prompt. And if a first comment does not post on the first try, RecurPost retries it about a minute later on its own.

RecurPost puts your agency’s logo on client report PDFs. The Facebook report covers reach, engagement, audience growth and boosted-post results in one document, and label reports group all of a client’s accounts together.

RecurPost computes best posting times per account from the connected Page’s own audience activity. The wider guidance in the best-time guide comes from 2M+ Facebook posts published through RecurPost.
