RecurPost and Postfity both schedule social media posts for client accounts. The difference appears before you create the first post. A Postfity sign-up now directs you to Simplified, an AI content suite where social publishing is one module alongside design, video, audio, and article generation. That platform structure shapes the supported networks, pricing tiers, and client approval workflows. The full set of RecurPost comparisons covers the other schedulers agencies weigh against RecurPost.
Four conditions decide which platform fits an agency.
- X support on the client roster. RecurPost publishes to X. Postfity does not.
- Client approval before publication. RecurPost includes internal and external approval on the $79 Agency plan. Postfity reserves external client approval for the $85 Growth plan.
- Reuse of the same posts across quarters. RecurPost stores reusable posts in content libraries. Postfity’s My Assets holds media files only.
- Scope of the subscription. RecurPost is a social media scheduler. Postfity delivers a broader AI content suite.
What You Actually Get When You Sign Up
RecurPost is a social media scheduler for agencies and freelancers that publish content across client accounts. A Postfity sign-up provides access to the Simplified application instead. The dashboard uses Simplified branding and plan names, and its mobile application appears in app stores as Simplified AI rather than Postfity.
This distinction matters because the Postfity marketing site still presents features from the earlier standalone product. The site advertises a VKontakte Scheduler, Facebook Groups Scheduler, Facebook Cover Scheduler, and Employee Advocacy tool. Our testing found that new buyer accounts could not access any of them. Buyers should read the Postfity website as a description of the earlier product, and the Simplified dashboard as the current paid one.
RecurPost maintains a narrower scope. RecurPost:
- Publishes and schedules social media posts
- Routes client approvals
- Manages social inbox conversations
- Reports performance results
Instead of providing video, article, or product photography tools, RecurPost focuses on social publishing and client workflow execution.

A four-person agency managing 18 client accounts priced Postfity’s One plan at $20 per month through the marketing site. Nine of those clients needed publishing support for X. After signup, the agency found that the delivered product did not connect to X at all, so those nine rosters had no publishing path.
This platform limitation directly affects product fit. Postfity fits teams that require design, video, and copy-generation tools within the same subscription as social media scheduling. Postfity does not fit teams that want a focused social media scheduler, because the subscription carries a broader content suite they will not use. RecurPost fits agencies that prioritize social publishing and client workflow management.
Which Social Networks Each Tool Publishes To
RecurPost publishes to X, whereas Postfity does not. This difference provides the shortest version of the network comparison. For many agency rosters, X support can determine the final platform choice.
RecurPost publishes to 10 social networks, which include:
- Facebook Pages, Groups and personal profiles
- Instagram business and personal accounts
- X, with premium account support up to 25,000 characters
- LinkedIn profiles and company pages
- Google Business Profile
- TikTok
- YouTube
- Threads
- Bluesky

By comparison, Postfity publishes to 13 social networks:
- Facebook Pages
- Instagram business accounts, and personal accounts by mobile notification
- LinkedIn profiles and company pages
- YouTube
- TikTok
- Google Business Profile
- Threads
- Bluesky
- Mastodon
- Telegram
- WhatsApp Business
The broader Postfity network list includes 4 platforms that RecurPost does not currently support:
- Mastodon
- Telegram
- WhatsApp Business
Postfity holds a clear advantage for community-led and support-led client rosters that depend on these platforms. RecurPost lists Reddit as coming soon and does not currently connect to the other 3.
The network count does not explain every publishing method. Postfity does not connect to Facebook Groups or Facebook personal profiles. RecurPost supports both account types through mobile push notifications instead of direct publishing. Postfity uses the same notification method for Instagram personal accounts, and its premium plans support direct connections for Instagram business accounts. Postfity also requires users to add the Simplified bot to a Telegram group and grant the required permissions before the group appears.
X support also carries a separate cost condition. RecurPost charges a pass-through fee of $0.20 for each X post that contains a link and deducts it from a prepaid wallet. RecurPost refunds the charge when the post fails, and text-only X posts do not carry the fee at all. Budget this cost into an X-heavy client roster.
These network and publishing differences define the strongest fit conditions for each tool. RecurPost fits an agency roster in which X, Facebook Groups, or Instagram personal accounts carry client work. RecurPost does not fit a roster whose primary deliverables are WhatsApp Business messaging, Reddit publishing, or Mastodon community management.
What Each Plan Costs, and What Sits Behind an Add-On
RecurPost and Postfity both advertise annual pricing and place some scheduling features behind paid add-ons. Compare both pricing structures on the same billing period, or the cost difference will not be a fair one.
| Plan | RecurPost | Postfity |
| Free | None. 14-day free trial, no credit card | $0, 3 social accounts, limited AI credits |
| Entry | Starter $9/month, 2 social accounts, 1 user, 10 daily posts per account | One $29.99/month, or $20/month billed annually, 7 social accounts, 1 user, 1 Brandbook |
| Mid | Personal $25/month, 5 social accounts, 1 user, 20 daily posts per account | No mid tier |
| Agency | Agency $79/month, 20 social accounts, 3 users, 80 daily posts per account | Growth $119.99/month, or $85/month billed annually, 30 social accounts, 5 users, 3 Brandbooks |
| Top | Enterprise, custom, 100+ social accounts | Enterprise $399/month billed annually, 10 seats |
The RecurPost plans and pricing page prices each add-on per unit and states the cost for each category:
- Extra social profile costs $4 per month
- Extra team member costs $20 per month
- 10 extra recurring daily posts per profile cost $20 per month
- One RSS feed costs $10 per month
- A block of 100 stored posts costs $20 per month
- A block of 200 AI posts costs $10 per month
- A block of 200 AI images costs $10 per month
- A block of 10 shareable calendars costs $10 per month
- An ads boost costs $5 per month for each social profile
By comparison, Postfity offers 4 paid add-ons:
- An extra social media account costs $5 per month.
- An extra user costs $10 per month.
- Bulk Post Scheduling costs $19 per month.
- Each extra AI Brandbook costs $35 per month.
Among these add-ons, bulk scheduling requires closer attention. Postfity sells Bulk Post Scheduling as a paid add-on instead of including it as a standard plan feature. During our testing, the free-plan dashboard displayed the bulk scheduling option but did not provide access to it. Although some comparison pages list this feature as included, Bulk Post Scheduling costs an extra $19 per month on every applicable plan.
This add-on structure changes the total cost for a 5-person agency managing 20 client accounts. RecurPost costs $119 per month for this team: the $79 Agency plan plus two extra team members at $20 each. The Agency plan includes 20 social accounts and 3 team members. RecurPost charges a flat monthly fee for each extra team member and does not multiply the plan price by the number of seats.
The same team on Postfity Growth pays $85 per month billed annually. The base price includes 30 accounts and 5 users, plus $19 for bulk scheduling, which raises the total to $104 per month. That figure excludes any extra AI Brandbook at $35 per month.
For this team structure, Postfity Growth costs $15 less per month and includes 10 more social accounts. The extra $15 on RecurPost buys X publishing, RSS imports, content libraries, Instagram direct message automation, and white-label reports that cost $399 on Postfity.
These pricing differences also affect smaller teams. Postfity fits a solo freelancer who manages fewer than 7 accounts and wants design, video, and social scheduling in one subscription. RecurPost does not fit that freelancer if replacing separate design or video subscriptions is the main goal. RecurPost does fit when the freelancer prioritizes focused social publishing and account management.
Scheduling, Queues and Bulk Uploads
RecurPost and Postfity both schedule, queue, and repeat social media posts. Each platform stores and processes the content feeding that queue differently.
Postfity schedules each post according to a selected date, time, and timezone. It also adds posts to the next available queue slot, supports custom time slots, and publishes approved posts automatically. When an approval workflow applies, Postfity holds the post until a user approves it. On premium plans, Postfity can also repeat an individual scheduled post at a selected frequency. The user can set the number of copies and define an end date for the recurring schedule.
Beyond standard scheduling, Postfity provides an AI feature called Best Time to Post. The feature proposes 21 publishing times for a selected account, with 3 time options per day across 7 days. Each option includes a checkbox that adds the time to the account’s timetable. RecurPost provides best-time suggestions for Facebook only. Postfity provides timetable suggestions for every connected account, which helps agencies managing clients across several networks.

While suggested times support schedule planning, publishing reliability determines whether posts reach each network. RecurPost handles more than 850 documented platform error types that can cause posts to fail. These errors include:
- Image-size mismatches
- False access-token expiry
- Unsupported video codecs
- Google Business Profile posts that platforms reject after initial acceptance
When a post fails, RecurPost displays a clear error message and the post can be retried from the History view, so the failure does not sit silently in the queue. Postfity checks platform file-size limits and media requirements before publishing, which catches formatting errors. Those checks do not cover access-token failures or post rejections that arrive after platform acceptance.
Timezone controls create another difference. Postfity sets one default timezone at the workspace level, while RecurPost assigns a timezone to each social profile. An agency managing one client across 3 time zones must convert each Postfity schedule manually or change the timezone on every post. RecurPost’s profile-level timezone setting removes that step for agencies managing accounts across several regions.
Bulk Scheduling
Postfity imports up to 300 posts from one CSV file. The import supports text, image, and video posts, and lets users review and edit each one before it completes. Postfity does not support RSS feed imports. RecurPost imports posts through CSV files and RSS feeds, then places the content in a library or sends it straight to the publishing queue.
This RSS workflow carries a separate pricing condition. RecurPost charges $10 per month for each RSS feed, so an agency managing 8 client feeds pays $80 per month. RecurPost does not fit agencies that depend on many feeds and need lower RSS costs.
RecurPost stages each imported RSS item for approval or rejection before it enters a content library, which keeps feed content from publishing without review.
Content Libraries and Reusing Posts
Postfity does not provide a library for reusable social media posts. My Assets stores media files, Brand Templates, and Components instead. Postfity does not let users tag completed posts into folders, schedule posts from a content library, or import existing posts from a connected profile.

RecurPost stores reusable posts in content libraries and connects those libraries to recurring time slots.
Calendar
Postfity provides day, week, and month calendar views. The calendar reschedules posts through drag-and-drop controls, previews each post, and filters content by account and platform. Postfity marks scheduled, published, and failed posts with color and logo indicators, and flags content holidays on the grid. On paid plans, Postfity exports calendar data in PDF, PNG, CSV, and JSON formats.

RecurPost provides week, month, and list views plus an Instagram grid preview, which Postfity does not offer. RecurPost also shares a calendar with a client through a link that needs no login. The Personal plan includes 2 shareable calendars and the Agency plan includes 5. The Starter plan requires an add-on: a block of 10 shareable calendars at $10 per month.
Per-Platform Customization in One Composer
RecurPost and Postfity both customize posts per network through a single composer. The difference is the depth of the platform-native fields each composer exposes.
Postfity opens an Original tab and creates a separate tab for each connected account. Users can edit the text and select a different image for each account. They can also preview how each network will display the post. Beyond these controls, Postfity supports several additional features, such as:
- Instagram first comments
- Labels
- Grouped posts
- Customization resets

Its composer also includes an image editor, a link shortener for each account, and per-account UTM link creation.
RecurPost provides platform-native controls that change how each network publishes a post:
- Google Business Profile CTA buttons: Learn More, Sign Up, Buy, Order Online, Book, Call Now, Offer
- Instagram collaborator invites, location tagging, and people and product tagging on Reels
- TikTok privacy status, comment, duet, and stitch controls, and branded content disclosure
- YouTube privacy status, custom title, category, and tags
- LinkedIn document and carousel upload as PDF, PPT, or DOC
- Pinterest custom title and destination link
- Facebook text background customization and content type selection
- Alt text on images across every platform
RecurPost also supports native audio selection for scheduled Instagram Reels. Users search licensed music or trending sounds while creating a Reel, then adjust the selected track and the video’s original audio separately on a scale from 0 to 100. RecurPost keeps audio selection and mixing inside the scheduling workflow.
Beyond native audio controls, RecurPost includes a built-in image editor with platform-specific crop presets. The composer imports media from 8 sources, including:
- Canva
- Google Drive
- Unsplash
- Pixabay
- Giphy
- Native upload
- URL import
- Zapier
RecurPost also stores hashtag groups as Bags of Tags. Custom fields replace account-specific details at publication, such as a client’s business name, phone number, or location.
Postfity does not create post variations for A/B testing or content rotation, and does not publish threads or polls. Postfity’s AI creates a caption for one selected platform at a time instead of producing a platform-specific set.
A restaurant client posting one launch across Instagram, TikTok, and Google Business Profile needs different settings on each network. Instagram needs a location tag and a collaborator, TikTok needs comments turned off, and Google Business Profile needs an Order Online button. RecurPost sets all three from the composer. Postfity sets the text and image for each account, and leaves the platform-specific settings to the networks themselves.
Postfity fits a roster where per-network differences are mostly caption length and image cropping. Postfity does not fit a roster where platform-specific fields are part of the publishing requirement.
Client Onboarding, Approvals and Team Access
Postfity provides external client approval on the Growth plan at $85 per month with annual billing. RecurPost provides internal and external approval on the Agency plan at $79 per month. Neither platform includes client approval in its entry-level plan.
Although Postfity reserves client approval for the Growth plan, its internal approval process starts with the One plan. On the Growth plan, your agency can create a group of draft posts. You can then send the review link by email or copy it for sharing. Postfity then marks each post as:
- Approved
- Rejected, or
- Pending Review
Clients and team members can comment on posts. Postfity sends automatic notification emails for pending approvals and shares a content calendar with the client.
RecurPost connects client approval with password-free account access. Your agency invites a client by email or link, and the client connects a social account without sharing a password. Your agency never updates shared login details when a client’s marketing contact leaves. RecurPost includes this onboarding process, client workspaces, post approvals, and white-label reports on the Agency plan. That plan includes 3 team members; the Starter and Personal plans include one each.

Approval depth differs beyond the plan gate. RecurPost routes a post through a multi-step approval path with workspace roles and permissions, then tracks it across Ideas, Writing, Review, Client Approval and Scheduled stages on a Kanban board. Postfity marks each post in a shared review bundle as Approved, Rejected or Pending Review, with no configurable stages and no per-stage owner. An agency that runs a two-tier internal review before client sign-off models both tiers in RecurPost. The same review collapses into a single approval step in Postfity.
While RecurPost uses plan-based access, Postfity assigns access to each product. An invited user can receive or lose access to Social Media, AI Writer, Videos, Chatbot, Link in Bio, Project Management, and Graphic Design. For each product, Postfity assigns the user a specific role, such as:
- Admin
- Member
- Guest

Postfity also separates clients into private Teamspaces on paid plans, and its Social Accounts screen includes an Account Permissions tab. Postfity does not support custom roles, and charges $10 per month for each user above the plan limit.
These plan rules directly affect agencies whose clients approve every post. Postfity requires the $85-per-month Growth plan, because the One plan supports internal approval only. RecurPost provides client approval on the $79-per-month Agency plan, which costs $6 less per month for the same workflow.
Postfity fits a team that already needs the Growth plan for its account limit, because external client approval arrives with that plan. RecurPost does not fit a team that wants to stay on the Starter or Personal plan and still run client approvals. RecurPost reserves that workflow for the Agency tier.
Social Inbox and Engagement
RecurPost connects 4 business account types to its social inbox. Postfity connects 5. Postfity provides its entire social inbox on paid plans only.
| Inbox capability | RecurPost | Postfity |
| Account types | Facebook Pages, Instagram Business, LinkedIn Company Pages, Google Business Profile | Facebook Pages, Instagram Business, LinkedIn company pages, YouTube, Google Business Profile |
| Direct messages | Yes, on connected business accounts | Facebook Pages and Instagram Business only |
| Comments | Yes | Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn company pages, YouTube, Google reviews |
| Mentions | Yes | Facebook and Instagram |
| AI reply drafts | Yes, and they do not spend AI post credits | Yes, plus AI conversation summaries |
| Assign to a teammate | Yes | Yes |
| Labels and tags | Yes, with a Labels tab | No |
| Auto-reply | No | No |
| Plan | Included, gated per plan | Paid plans only |
Postfity supports YouTube comments and Google reviews, which gives it one more supported account type than RecurPost. The RecurPost inbox covers supported business accounts only. RecurPost does not include Instagram or Facebook personal profiles, Facebook Groups, or LinkedIn personal profiles. When your agency connects an account for the first time, RecurPost imports the previous 30 days of conversations and sorts them into:
- To Review
- Assigned
- Reviewed
- Labels
RecurPost creates AI replies for inbox messages without spending AI post credits, so the replies carry no usage-based cost. Postfity measures inbox AI use against the plan’s shared AI credits.
These inbox controls matter when several team members manage the same client conversations. Two people sharing one inbox across 20 client accounts need to see which messages already have a reply. RecurPost marks each completed conversation as Reviewed and lets the team add a label. Postfity filters conversations by account and content type but provides no labels, so the team tracks completed conversations somewhere else.
DM Automation
Postfity does not automate direct messages. It does not provide comment-to-DM flows, a visual flow builder, welcome messages, keyword replies, or DM templates. Instead, you have to manually read and reply to messages through the inbox.
RecurPost automates Instagram direct messages through keyword triggers, and adds clickable CTA buttons to each automated message.
RecurPost has also updated DM Automation with more control over who receives a message and how each person moves through the flow. The controls include “DM Only If Follow” and a separate Non-Follower Flow.
The “DM Only If Follow” option sends direct messages to followers only. If someone comments without following, RecurPost holds the message until they follow, then sends it. The option concentrates direct messages on users who signal stronger interest.
The Non-Follower Flow supports the same process with an extra prompt. When a non-follower comments, RecurPost asks the person to follow the account before receiving the message. Once the person follows, RecurPost sends the original direct message. This process creates a clear path from comment to follow and then to direct message.
These controls make the setup suitable for campaigns such as exclusive offers and flash sales. Your agency can send the offer to interested followers instead of sending it to every person who comments.
A course-launch client publishes a post asking users to “comment GUIDE for the link.” RecurPost collects the comments and sends each user a direct message with a clickable button. The same campaign on Postfity needs a person watching the comments and replying by hand.

The follower-based process also fits clients that want to limit offers to interested followers. Postfity fits an agency roster that runs no comment-to-DM campaigns. Postfity does not fit a client that collects leads through Instagram direct messages, where RecurPost supplies the automation.
Analytics, Reporting and White Label
RecurPost and Postfity both create custom reports. Each platform gates client branding on a different plan, which changes the cost of sending branded reports.
Postfity provides reports on paid plans only. Its reports include:
- Platform-level metrics
- Post-level metrics
- Engagement
- Follower growth
- Custom date ranges
You select the accounts, metrics, modules, branding, and export format for each report. Postfity shares the report through a link or PDF and can create an AI summary. Postfity gates white-label reporting behind the Enterprise plan at $399 per month with annual billing. Postfity reports do not include competitor comparisons.
RecurPost lets users pick the exact metrics that appear in a Custom Report and compare results across several social profiles. The Agency plan includes Custom Reports at no extra cost; other plans get a 14-day trial, after which RecurPost Support activates continued access. Administrators control access through the Custom Reports permission in the Admin Panel.
RecurPost provides white-label reports on the Agency plan at $79 per month, and schedules report delivery within a workspace. RecurPost’s Chat with Reports reviews report data through conversational AI on the Agency and Enterprise plans.
Beyond social media reports, RecurPost also includes Google Business Profile analytics in the same dashboard. These reports cover:
- Customer action
- Impressions
- Reviews
- Ratings
- Search keywords
- Q&A activity
- Publishing results
Businesses review listing visibility, customer interest, and reputation from one place.
RecurPost also connects content labels with campaign reports through Post-Wise Labels. Users create and manage labels under Plugins, then assign several labels to one-time posts and library posts. The labels appear in the Queue, History, and content libraries.
After publication, Label-Wise Reports use published posts from History to compare performance by:
- Campaign
- Content theme
- Team
- Client
- Business group
Agencies connect daily content organization with campaign-level reporting, which removes a separate tracking sheet.
Postfity uses a different process for automatic report delivery. The AI Workflow Builder sends reports rather than a delivery setting inside the analytics screen, and Postfity’s support team confirmed this. The AI Workflow Builder requires the Growth plan, so Free and One plan users cannot automate report delivery.
These plan rules create a large price difference for agencies that need branded reports. An agency sending 20 branded monthly client reports needs Postfity Enterprise for white-label branding, plus the AI Workflow Builder for automatic delivery. RecurPost provides white-label reports and scheduled delivery on the Agency plan for $79 per month.
Postfity fits teams that share standard report links instead of branded PDF reports. RecurPost does not fit teams that want to stay below the Agency plan and still get white-label reports. RecurPost fits agencies that need branded reports at a lower plan price.
AI Content Studio vs Publishing Assistant
Postfity provides a wider set of AI content creation tools, and RecurPost focuses AI on social media publishing. Postfity Simplified works as an AI content suite. Compare the AI features against the work your agency actually does.
Postfity includes Riley, an AI assistant within the post composer. Riley works without an external API key. Beyond caption writing, the wider Simplified suite creates:
- Images
- Videos
- Audio
- Blog articles
- Designs
- Product photos
It also provides named product photo workflows, such as Studio Shot, Flat Lay and Recolor Product.
Postfity also provides an AI chatbot in the inbox. Its AI Workflow Builder collects data, reviews results, creates reports, and sends them automatically. That workflow tool requires the Growth plan.
To guide its AI, Postfity stores brand details in a Brandbook. The product describes this feature as a Brand Brain. Each Brandbook can hold:
- Client’s visual identity
- Image style
- Brand rules
- Ideal customer profiles
- Content strategy
- Reference files

Postfity’s AI reads this information before creating content. Each Brandbook above the plan limit costs $35 per month. An agency with 10 clients and three included Brandbooks needs 7 extra Brandbooks, which adds $245 per month to keep a separate brand profile for every client.
RecurPost applies AI to social media publishing tasks. RecurPost creates images inside the post composer, drafts inbox replies without spending AI post credits, and turns Google Business Profile reviews into testimonial images. RecurPost’s Chat with Reports answers questions about report data. RecurPost charges $10 per month for each block of 200 AI posts or 200 AI images.
These different AI roles change which platform fits each agency. A two-person agency without a designer creating monthly graphics for 10 clients can drop a separate design subscription by using Postfity. A team with an in-house designer pays for content creation tools it does not use. RecurPost handles scheduling and publishing after the content exists, which suits teams that already own their creative resources.
Postfity fits a team that creates as much content as it schedules. Postfity does not fit a team whose clients or in-house designer deliver finished content, where RecurPost’s AI covers publishing, engagement, and reporting instead.
Social Listening, Paid Ads, Integrations and Support
Neither RecurPost nor Postfity provides keyword-based social listening. Although both marketing sites use the term “social listening,” their tools do not track keywords across public conversations.
Postfity provides a Streams view within its paid social inbox. This view displays:
- Messages
- Comments
- Mentions
- Reviews
- Tags from connected accounts
Postfity does not monitor public keywords, track hashtag results, or reply through a separate listening view. RecurPost includes no social listening feature. Neither platform fits agencies that need public keyword or hashtag tracking.
The two platforms differ more clearly in paid advertising. Postfity does not create ads, boost posts, manage campaigns, or report paid ad results. RecurPost turns a published Facebook or Instagram post into an ad from the dashboard, with a daily or total budget and fixed start and end dates.
RecurPost also imports 4 targeting options from the connected Meta ad account, and its reports separate paid from organic results. The feature costs $5 per month for each social profile and covers Facebook and Instagram only. RecurPost does not create custom audiences, because Meta does not allow third-party tools to do it. RecurPost fits agencies that need basic post boosting inside their publishing workflow.
| Integration | RecurPost | Postfity |
| Public API | Yes | Growth plan and above |
| MCP server | Yes | Yes |
| Command line tool | No | Simplified CLI |
| AI agent access | Through MCP | Native Claude, Codex and Cursor |
| Zapier | Yes | No |
| n8n | Native node, 8 actions | No |
| Webhooks | Yes | Not documented |
| Canva | Yes | No |
| Cloud storage | Google Drive | Google Drive and Shopify as media sources |
Integration options create a different fit for technical and non-technical teams. Postfity provides a CLI and direct access through Claude, Codex, and Cursor, which fits technical teams that publish through AI agents or a command line. Postfity does not connect with Zapier, Make, or IFTTT. RecurPost fits teams that use those automation platforms to wire several business tools together.
Support access also differs. Postfity provides live chat on every plan, including the Free plan. During our testing, the support team replied within about two hours. Postfity answers emails within 24 to 48 hours and provides a help center and video tutorials. Postfity does not provide phone support or a community forum, and reserves a dedicated account management team for Enterprise customers. RecurPost provides human support rather than tiering chatbots by plan.
The mobile experience follows the same product structure as each web platform. Postfity does not provide a Postfity-branded mobile application. Instead, users can install Simplified AI on iOS or Android and sign in with their Postfity account. The application includes most web features, including the paid social inbox.
RecurPost provides RecurPost-branded applications for Android and iOS. These applications support:
- Scheduling
- Publishing
- Social inbox management
- Content access
RecurPost keeps one product identity across its web and mobile applications.
Where RecurPost Fits Agency Workflows and Where It Does Not
RecurPost supports many agency publishing workflows, and not every set of client requirements. Compare its limits against the services your agency sells. RecurPost does not fit an agency that needs AI design, video, or article creation inside the same subscription. RecurPost also does not fit a client roster that publishes to:
- WhatsApp Business
- Mastodon
- Telegram
Teams below the Agency plan do not receive approvals, client workspaces, or white-label reports. Agencies managing many RSS feeds should price the $10 per feed each month. RecurPost provides no keyword listening or competitor tracking, so a client that needs brand monitoring needs a second tool.
RecurPost fits several common client workflows despite those limits. RecurPost supports agencies that publish to X and need client approval before posts go live, and provides white-label reports without an enterprise-level plan. RecurPost’s content libraries hold seasonal posts an agency reuses across several quarters. RecurPost also lets clients connect their social accounts through an email or link without sharing passwords.
These fit conditions apply directly to a three-person agency that creates all creative in-house, manages 15 accounts, and publishes to 4 X accounts. If the agency also sends branded monthly reports, RecurPost supports each main requirement. Teams can manage their key needs without adding tools it does not require.
Where Postfity Fits and Where It Does Not
Postfity provides 5 main benefits worth weighing before its limits. Postfity includes an AI content creation suite within the scheduling price. Postfity provides a free plan with 3 social accounts and no time limit. Postfity supports an MCP server, a CLI, and direct access through Claude, Codex, and Cursor for technical teams. Postfity’s Brandbook gives its AI clear brand details for content creation. Postfity also creates separate UTM links for each connected account.
These features make Postfity suitable for several agency workflows. Postfity fits a team that creates as much content as it schedules. Postfity fits a client roster that skips X and publishes to Reddit, Mastodon, Telegram, or WhatsApp Business. Postfity supports teams that publish through an AI agent, CLI, or API. External client approval arrives with the Growth plan, which adds no upgrade cost for teams already on Growth for their account limit.
Postfity does not fit every workflow. Postfity does not support X, which rules it out for agencies with clients on that platform. Postfity provides no reusable post library and no RSS feed imports, so it does not suit teams that reuse completed posts or build calendars from feeds. Postfity provides no comment-to-DM automation, which rules out campaigns that collect leads through Instagram direct messages. Postfity’s white-label reports require the $399 Enterprise plan, and CSV bulk scheduling costs an extra $19 per month. Price both into any plan comparison.
Switching From Postfity to RecurPost
RecurPost reconnects the same accounts you already run on Postfity, and adds X, Facebook Groups, and Facebook personal profiles that Postfity does not support. Export the Postfity calendar while the paid subscription is still active. Postfity exports calendar data in CSV, PDF, PNG, and JSON formats on paid plans. Scheduled posts do not transfer between the platforms, so rebuild them in RecurPost or import them through a CSV file.
Media files do not transfer either. Postfity stores client media, Brand Templates, and Components in My Assets, so download the assets you still need before the Postfity subscription lapses. RecurPost then imports media from 8 sources: native upload, Canva, Google Drive, Unsplash, Pixabay, Giphy, URL import, and Zapier.
Approval rules do not transfer either. RecurPost rebuilds internal and external approval on the Agency plan, with workspace roles and permissions set per team member. Your agency re-invites each client by email or link, and the client reconnects their own account without handing over a password.
RecurPost also imports existing posts from a connected social account, which fills a content library without retyping past work. The migration checklist covers the account-by-account process.
Try RecurPost
The RecurPost Agency plan costs $79 per month and includes 20 social accounts and 3 team members. The same plan provides password-free client onboarding, internal and external approvals, white-label reports, and Custom Reports. To compare the full cost, review the plans and pricing page. It lists each add-on by category and unit price. If the plan matches your agency’s requirements, you can start your 14-day free trial without a credit card. For evidence of how agencies run this plan, the RecurPost case studies record the workflow each team used and the result it measured.

RecurPost vs Postfity FAQs
1. Is Postfity the same product as Simplified?
A Postfity signup directs users to the Simplified application. The application uses Simplified branding, Simplified plan names, and a mobile app called Simplified AI. However, the Postfity website still describes parts of the earlier standalone scheduler. For example, it lists a VKontakte Scheduler and Facebook Groups Scheduler that the current product does not provide.
2. Does Postfity post to X?
Postfity does not publish to X. It also does not connect to Facebook Groups or Facebook personal profiles. In contrast, RecurPost publishes to X and supports premium posts containing up to 25,000 characters. RecurPost charges $0.20 from a prepaid wallet for each X post that includes a link.
3. How much does Postfity cost?
Postfity’s One plan costs $29.99 per month or $20 per month with annual billing. The plan includes 7 social accounts and 1 user. Meanwhile, the Growth plan costs $119.99 per month or $85 per month with annual billing. This plan includes 30 social accounts and 5 users. Postfity also lists its Enterprise plan at $399 per month with annual billing and includes 10 seats. Postfity charges separate monthly fees for 4 add-ons: an extra social media account costs $5 per month, an extra user costs $10 per month, Bulk Post Scheduling costs $19 per month, and each extra AI Brandbook costs $35 per month.
4. Does Postfity have a content library for reusing posts?
Postfity does not provide a library for reusable posts. Instead, its My Assets area stores media files, Brand Templates, and Components. However, users cannot organize completed posts into folders and schedule them from a content library. In addition, users cannot import existing posts from a connected profile. In contrast, RecurPost stores reusable posts in content libraries and connects those libraries to recurring time slots.
5. Can clients approve posts in Postfity before they publish?
Postfity includes internal approval on the One plan. However, external client approval requires the Growth plan that costs $85 per month with annual billing. Postfity sends a group of draft posts through a link or email and marks each post as Approved, Rejected, or Pending Review. In comparison, RecurPost includes internal and external approvals on the Agency plan for $79 per month.
6. Does Postfity offer white-label reports?
Postfity provides white-label reports on its Enterprise plan that costs $399 per month with annual billing. Its lower plans create custom reports with selected accounts, metrics, and modules. Users can then share these reports through a link or PDF, but the reports do not include agency branding. In contrast, RecurPost includes white-label reports on its $79-per-month Agency plan.
7. Does Postfity automate Instagram DMs?
Postfity does not automate direct messages. It does not provide comment-to-DM flows, keyword replies, welcome messages, or DM templates. In contrast, RecurPost can send an Instagram direct message when a comment contains a selected keyword. RecurPost can also add a clickable CTA button to the automated message.
8. What does RecurPost not do that Postfity does?
RecurPost focuses on social media publishing instead of broad content creation. Therefore, it does not create AI designs, videos, audio, or long-form articles. In contrast, Postfity includes these tools within its wider content creation suite. Postfity also supports 4 networks that RecurPost does not currently support: Mastodon, Reddit, which RecurPost lists as coming soon, Telegram, and WhatsApp Business. Beyond these network differences, Postfity provides a command-line tool and direct access through Claude, Codex, and Cursor. It also exports calendars in PDF, PNG, CSV, and JSON formats. RecurPost does not currently provide these options.
9. Does either tool offer social listening?
Neither RecurPost nor Postfity provides keyword-based social listening. Postfity’s Streams view shows messages, comments, mentions, reviews, and tags from connected accounts. However, it does not track keywords across public conversations. RecurPost focuses on inbox management and does not provide a separate social listening feature.
10. How do you move from Postfity to RecurPost?
The migration starts by connecting your supported social accounts to RecurPost. You can then add X, Facebook Groups, and Facebook personal profiles. Before the Postfity subscription ends, export the calendar to CSV because scheduled posts do not transfer between the platforms. Next, use the CSV file to rebuild the queue in RecurPost. You can also import existing posts from a connected account into a RecurPost content library.
