RecurPost and Emplifi both schedule client posts to Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, but each tool serves a different buyer. RecurPost is social media management software built for agencies and freelancers that run client accounts. Emplifi is a customer-experience suite sold as 3 separate clouds:

  1. Social Marketing
  2. Social Care
  3. Social Commerce

This comparison covers the Emplifi Social Marketing Cloud, which is the Emplifi product that publishes content. The Emplifi Care inbox appears only where it overlaps with the RecurPost social inbox.

RecurPost publishes 4 plan prices, starting at $9 per month, and offers a 14-day free trial that requires no credit card. Emplifi Social Marketing starts at $1,249 per month on a minimum annual term. The Emplifi price includes unlimited users, and Emplifi offers no free trial.

The decision is therefore not about which tool is better overall. The decision depends on whether a team requires the full Emplifi enterprise suite or only the scheduler inside it. The Emplifi suite adds a care desk, CRM connectors and unlimited seats to that scheduler.

What RecurPost and Emplifi each are

RecurPost is a single workspace for composing, scheduling, content libraries, the social inbox, reports and client review. An agency selects a client workspace and completes the daily publishing work within that workspace.

Emplifi divides its product into 3 clouds, and each cloud carries a separate price:

  1. The Social Marketing Cloud covers publishing, community management, analytics and AI. Listening is an add-on on Advanced and is included on Intelligent.
  2. The Social Care Cloud functions as a customer-service desk.
  3. The Social Commerce Cloud covers user-generated content, ratings and reviews, and shoppable galleries.

Emplifi prices each cloud on usage volume and scale rather than on seats. Usage volume includes measures such as audience size and interaction volume. Consequently, an agency that only composes, schedules, approves and reports buys the Social Marketing Cloud mainly for its scheduler, and pays for an enterprise structure that it does not use.

Emplifi fits a buyer that uses publishing, care and commerce together, because Emplifi prices the suite around that combination. RecurPost fits a team whose daily work is composing, scheduling, approving and reporting across client accounts. The RecurPost features page lists the full product.

What Emplifi costs, and what RecurPost costs

RecurPost publishes 4 plans priced from $9 to $79 per month, and RecurPost Enterprise is quoted from 100 accounts. Emplifi Social Marketing publishes 2 prices, $1,249 and $2,499 per month, and quotes its Intelligent tier.

Emplifi Essential$1,249 per month, annual termUnlimited owned profilesUnlimited
Emplifi Advanced$2,499 per month, annual termUnlimited owned profilesUnlimited
Emplifi IntelligentCustom quoteUnlimited owned profilesUnlimited

RecurPost sells capacity as add-ons on top of each plan instead of moving the customer to a larger tier. The RecurPost add-on prices are listed below.

RecurPost add-onPriceUnit
Extra social account$4 per monthPer account
Extra team member$20 per monthPer member
AI posts$10 per monthPer block of 200
AI images$10 per monthPer block of 200
RSS feeds$10 per monthPer feed
Recurring time slots$20 per monthPer 10-slot block
Shareable calendars$10 per monthPer block of 10
Ads boost$5 per monthPer social account

The RecurPost Agency plan covers 20 social accounts and includes 3 team members. RecurPost charges a flat $20 per month for each extra teammate on any plan, so RecurPost does not multiply the plan price by every seat. A five-person team running 20 client accounts pays $119 per month.

Emplifi Essential costs $1,249 per month on a minimum annual term. An Emplifi Essential customer therefore commits $14,988 before publishing the first post. Emplifi also quotes the Social Care and Social Commerce clouds separately on every tier.

The Emplifi seat model carries a real advantage at large team sizes, because Emplifi’s price does not rise with headcount. RecurPost Agency costs $819 per month for 40 users, which combines the $79 plan with 37 extra teammates at $20 each. RecurPost Agency costs more than Emplifi Essential from 62 users onward, before any extra social accounts. Emplifi’s unlimited owned profiles also keep a very large roster at a fixed cost, while RecurPost adds $4 for each social account beyond 20.

Emplifi’s unlimited allowance still carries 2 limits. Essential allows 1 team, Advanced allows 3 teams, and Intelligent allows unlimited teams. Competitor profiles for benchmarking are capped at 10, 50 and 100 by tier.

Emplifi’s pricing model fits a team of more than 60 people, because unlimited seats turn a per-person cost into a fixed cost. The model does not fit a team of 3 to 10 people or a freelancer, for whom the Essential floor costs about 16 times the RecurPost Agency plan. The full plan details are available on RecurPost plans and pricing. Buyers comparing several replacements, not only RecurPost, can review the Emplifi alternatives guide.

Getting started: a sales-led rollout vs a self-serve trial

RecurPost opens a 14-day free trial from its website, and the trial requires no credit card. Emplifi provides access only after 3 sales steps: booking a meeting, attending a demo and purchasing a plan.

The RecurPost signup takes 4 steps and ends with the connection of at least 1 social account, so a RecurPost team connects accounts and schedules posts during the trial period. Emplifi requires the purchase to close before any account connection or scheduling begins.

Emplifi’s onboarding then runs in 4 stages:

  1. Kick-off meeting
  2. Implementation
  3. Company audit
  4. User training

Emplifi provides no in-app setup checklist or onboarding tour. Instead, the Emplifi team configures roles, permissions and channels together with the customer. A newly invited Emplifi user sees no data until an admin adds that user to a team.

Emplifi’s sales-led route fits an organization that requires implementation, an audit and formal training bundled into the purchase. The route does not fit an evaluation that lacks budget approval, because Emplifi cannot be used before purchase. RecurPost’s self-serve setup is shown step by step in how RecurPost works.

Which social networks each tool publishes to

RecurPost publishes to 10 networks, while Emplifi publishes to 8 networks. Google Business Profile and Bluesky account for the difference.

BlueskyYesNo

Emplifi connects more networks than it publishes to. Google Business Profile, Snapchat, Reddit and WhatsApp all connect to Emplifi as owned profiles, but none of these 4 networks is an Emplifi publishing channel. Emplifi reads Google Business Profile reviews in its inbox but cannot post Google Business Profile offers, events or updates.

Emplifi does not support Facebook Groups, personal Facebook profiles or personal Instagram accounts. RecurPost reaches these 3 account types through push-notification posting. RecurPost also publishes to Google Business Profile with call-to-action buttons, such as Book, Order Online and Call Now.

An agency with local clients that post weekly Google Business Profile offers therefore needs a second tool alongside Emplifi.

Emplifi fits a roster built on Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok and Threads. Emplifi does not fit a roster that posts to Google Business Profile or Bluesky, or a roster that publishes from Instagram Creator accounts. The full network list is available on RecurPost supported platforms.

One composer, many networks: customization and post types

RecurPost and Emplifi both customize one post per network from a single composer. The differences lie in the platform fields each tool exposes and in the way each tool handles media.

Emplifi’s multipost carries unique content for every network, and each network inside one multipost receives its own publish time. Emplifi’s platform fields include the following 4 groups:

  1. Alt text and location tags
  2. Instagram collaborators (up to 3) and Instagram product tags
  3. Facebook targeting and branded content
  4. YouTube title, tags, category, playlist, visibility, licence, language, subtitles and age restriction

RecurPost’s platform fields go deeper on 4 networks:

  1. Google Business Profile call-to-action buttons
  2. Instagram collaborator invites, location tagging, and people and product tagging on Reels
  3. TikTok privacy, comment, duet and stitch controls
  4. YouTube privacy, title, category and tags

Emplifi does not publish threads or polls; its X, Threads, Facebook and LinkedIn guides list neither option. Emplifi publishes Facebook dark posts immediately but cannot schedule them.

Emplifi checks every post against each network’s rules before publishing, flags failed posts and offers a Convert option for some files. Emplifi also warns users when Instagram or TikTok daily API limits are reached.

Emplifi pulls media from cloud drives and asset managers, including Google Drive, Dropbox, Bynder and Adobe Experience Manager, and applies UTM tagging automatically through Emplifi Campaigns.

Emplifi’s image editing is limited to cropping, converting, alt text and auto-resizing. Emplifi lacks a design editor, a Canva connection and a royalty-free image library, and rights-cleared visuals require the paid Social UGC add-on. RecurPost includes a built-in image editor with platform crop presets and connects to Canva, Unsplash, Pixabay and GIPHY.

Emplifi fits a team that publishes LinkedIn document posts, times each network separately, or stores assets in Bynder or Adobe Experience Manager. Emplifi does not fit a team that designs graphics inside the scheduler.

Bulk scheduling, queues and content reuse

RecurPost loads a month of client posts from 1 CSV file with media attached. Emplifi schedules each post individually.

Reusable weekly time slotsYes, set across many days and accounts at onceNo

Best-time slotsFacebookPrimeTime and AI PrimeTime

Emplifi’s scheduling options cover dates, time zones, PrimeTime and native Facebook scheduling. Every Emplifi post needs a specific time or a PrimeTime slot. Emplifi has no bulk video tool, although one video can reach several profiles as a single multipost.

Emplifi’s media store, Collections, accepts manual uploads with unlimited storage but supports no CSV import and accepts no GIFs. Emplifi’s Content Hub saves assets from past posts, but not the finished posts with their captions.

PrimeTime is a genuine Emplifi advantage. PrimeTime recommends posting slots for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok across 24-hour, 48-hour and seven-day windows, provided each profile has sufficient audience data. AI PrimeTime goes further and places posts into predicted peak windows automatically. RecurPost’s best-time suggestions, in comparison, cover Facebook only.

RecurPost imports hundreds of client posts through 1 CSV upload. Emplifi requires each of those posts to be built separately in the composer.

Reposting content on a schedule

RecurPost keeps content libraries that repost on repeating time slots, which suits seasonal posts that an agency runs again each year. Emplifi documents no recurring or evergreen reposting.

RecurPost content library for recurring posts

Emplifi fits a team that publishes a small number of high-production posts per brand and times each post with PrimeTime. Emplifi does not fit a team that loads hundreds of posts from spreadsheets, because Emplifi lacks CSV upload, a queue and reusable time slots.

The content calendar, approvals, and client review

RecurPost displays scheduled client posts on a drag-and-drop calendar with month, week, list and Instagram grid views. Emplifi’s Publisher calendar offers day, week and month views, plus an Instagram Grid View for arranging the feed by drag-and-drop.

Emplifi’s Unified Campaign Calendar holds organic, paid and regional content in one place and reschedules any post by drag-and-drop, including multiposts. Emplifi does not document a Publisher filter by account or platform, and it shows post status in left-panel sections rather than calendar colours. These sections are:

  • Sent
  • Scheduled
  • Awaiting approval
  • Publishing errors

Emplifi lists multi-stage approval workflows on its Advanced tier at $2,499 per month; Essential at $1,249 does not include them. On Advanced, standard flows route a post to selected approvers and flexible flows add sequential approval stages. An Emplifi approver can edit a post, approve it or reject it with a reason, and approvers receive email alerts for pending items. Emplifi also offers a Crisis Kill Switch that pauses every scheduled post at once, which matters to a brand that must stop publishing within minutes.

Emplifi’s client approval carries 1 condition: clients approve through the Client (External User) role, and they must log in. Emplifi offers no link-based review. Adding a client user costs nothing on Emplifi because seats are unlimited, but that client still requires a login.

RecurPost handles client review through 3 features:

  1. Shareable client calendars: Clients view and comment on scheduled posts without a login. The allowance is 2 calendars on Personal and 5 on Agency, and $10 per month buys 10 more.
  2. Approval workflow: One-off posts move through stages on a Kanban board. Assigned members receive alerts at 50 percent and 80 percent of a stage’s timeout, and again when the stage is overdue. The approval workflow is on the Agency plan.
  3. Invite-link connection: Clients connect their own profiles through an emailed invite link, so passwords are never shared.

Emplifi fits a client relationship in which the client already holds Emplifi seats, which is common when the brand bought Emplifi and the agency works inside it. Emplifi does not fit an agency whose clients refuse to create a software account, or an agency that needs multi-stage approval below the $2,499 Advanced tier.

Team roles, permissions and client workspaces

RecurPost controls each team member’s access through 4 editable role templates and 10 permission groups. These permissions apply per member and per workspace.

RecurPost’s 10 permission groups cover the following areas:

  1. Posts
  2. Approvals and publishing
  3. Social profiles
  4. Content library
  5. Inbox
  6. Reports and analytics
  7. DM automations
  8. Paid ads
  9. Client review
  10. Workspace and team

RecurPost assigns one role per member in each workspace, so a freelancer can be a Writer for one client and an Editor for another under a single login. RecurPost also names an Account Manager for each workspace, who can approve posts on the client’s behalf.

Emplifi matches RecurPost on permission depth: Emplifi’s custom roles and per-profile permissions perform the same function. The gap appears in client separation on Emplifi’s lower tiers. Emplifi Essential allows only 1 team, so all client profiles on Essential share that team, and separation depends on profile visibility settings and user groups. RecurPost gives every client a dedicated workspace.

Emplifi fits an enterprise with dozens of internal teams on the Intelligent tier, where teams are unlimited and governance spans regions. Emplifi Essential does not fit an agency that needs strict separation between many clients.

Social inbox, care automation and DM automation

RecurPost’s social inbox covers 4 business account types. Emplifi’s inbox covers 8 channels, including X, YouTube, TikTok and WhatsApp.

Emplifi’s inbox covers more channels and more automation than RecurPost’s. Emplifi Flow Automations send automatic replies when a new message arrives or when a label is applied, and each Emplifi account holds up to 100 flows.

Emplifi assigns conversations to people or groups, individually or in bulk, and filters conversations by:

  • Platform
  • Type
  • Status
  • Sentiment
  • Assignee
  • Label
  • Language
  • Media type

Emplifi’s AI Reply Assistant, listed on Advanced, drafts, shortens, rephrases and translates replies across 30 language options. Emplifi also reports each agent’s response time and resolved messages. Collected data stays in Emplifi feeds for 90 days.

RecurPost’s inbox is narrower. It covers:

  • Facebook Pages
  • Instagram Business
  • LinkedIn Company Pages
  • Google Business Profile

RecurPost backfills 30 days of conversations on first connection. RecurPost’s AI reply drafts are free and do not consume AI post credits.

RecurPost’s automation starts from the comment instead. RecurPost’s Instagram DM automation sends a direct message when someone comments on a client’s post or Reel. The trigger fires on specific keywords or on any comment. Each message holds up to 1,000 characters with an optional call-to-action button, and RecurPost can also post a public reply to the comment instantly.

Emplifi supports welcome messages and keyword auto-replies on incoming messages, but has no comment-to-DM trigger and no visual flow builder. Each tool therefore leads in a different area of automation: Emplifi reads and automates across more channels, while RecurPost automates the comment-to-DM path that Emplifi does not offer.

Emplifi fits a team that runs a care desk across X, YouTube, TikTok and WhatsApp with agent reporting. Emplifi does not fit a team that wants a post comment to open a private conversation. RecurPost sends 1 preconfigured DM per comment and runs no branching chatbot, so a team that needs multi-step conversations requires a dedicated chatbot tool.

Analytics, reporting and white label

RecurPost builds client reports in 2 ways, and each way carries a different strength. Emplifi offers deeper per-network analytics with more export formats.

RecurPost analytics

RecurPost’s Custom Reports build a white-label PDF from 200+ metrics across 10 platforms, with 60 templates and 11 chart types. Custom Reports are sent on demand to up to 25 addresses. RecurPost’s standard workspace report is the automated option: it is emailed weekly or monthly on a chosen day and includes a branded shareable link. No single RecurPost report is both metric-selectable and scheduled.

Emplifi ships preset analytics boards for each network, with the deepest sets for Facebook (25 boards) and Instagram (23 boards), and no dedicated Threads section. Emplifi schedules report emails daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly, and each scheduled report carries its own format, sending time and time zone.

White labelYour logo on the report coverYour logo, branded client portals and a custom domain or subdomain

Emplifi leads this section on export formats, scheduling cadence, benchmarking and white-label depth. Emplifi’s white label is partial, because it covers reporting and client-facing dashboards only; the core Emplifi application cannot be fully rebranded. RecurPost’s advantage is narrower: its standard report link opens for a client without a login, while Emplifi’s shared report links open only for Emplifi users.

Emplifi fits an agency whose clients want spreadsheet exports, competitor benchmarks and quarterly scheduled reports. Emplifi does not fit an agency that sends clients a report link to open without an account; for Emplifi, the scheduled email remains the only login-free route. RecurPost’s branded output is covered in white-label reports.

Social listening and competitor benchmarking

RecurPost does not offer social listening. Emplifi Listening monitors keywords, hashtags and competitors across news sites, social networks, forums, blogs and reviews. Emplifi Listening is not part of Essential: it is an add-on on Advanced and is included on Intelligent.

Emplifi social listening dashboard

Emplifi Listening draws on X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, plus news outlets, forums, blogs, and online ratings and reviews. Emplifi builds listening around keyword queries and tracks hashtag performance across networks.

Emplifi’s AI-driven Spike Alerts fire when mentions or conversation volume shift suddenly. Emplifi benchmarks competitors through tracked public profiles, capped at 10, 50 or 100 by tier. Replies to listening results go through Emplifi’s Community inbox rather than the listening dashboard.

RecurPost has no listening, mention monitoring, sentiment analysis or competitor benchmarking. A client that needs same-day spike alerts or competitor conversation reports therefore requires Emplifi or a comparable listening tool.

Emplifi fits a team with a reputation, care or crisis brief, or a team whose reporting obligation includes competitors, provided the team budgets for Advanced plus the Listening add-on or for Intelligent. Emplifi’s listening alone does not justify the contract for a team that reports only on owned-account performance.

AI features in each tool

RecurPost places AI in the composer, the inbox and the reports. Emplifi also builds AI into its composer and requires no separate purchase, credits or external API key, but places its stronger AI features on higher tiers.

Emplifi’s AI extends further into listening, reporting and performance prediction, while RecurPost prices AI in visible 200-unit blocks and generates images inside the composer, which Emplifi does not.

RecurPost fits a social manager who needs a first-draft caption and a generated image for each post, and RecurPost lets that manager flag a post as AI-generated at publish time for Facebook Reels, Instagram, X, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok. Emplifi fits a team that wants AI across listening, reporting and performance prediction on the Advanced or Intelligent tier. Emplifi does not fit a team that wants AI-generated images. The AI block prices appear in the RecurPost add-on table above.

Paid ads, mobile apps, integrations and support

RecurPost boosts an already-published Facebook or Instagram post into an ad from the dashboard. Emplifi reports on ad performance but neither creates nor boosts ads.

RecurPost customer support

Emplifi fits a team whose social data must reach a CRM or care platform, such as Salesforce Service Cloud. Emplifi does not fit a team that automates through Zapier or n8n, or a team that boosts posts without leaving the scheduler. RecurPost connects to Zapier, a native n8n node and an MCP server.

Where RecurPost fits an agency client operation

RecurPost fits an agency whose daily work is composing, scheduling, approving and reporting on many client accounts. RecurPost fits the following 7 conditions:

  1. The agency needs a published price for a client proposal.
  2. The agency keeps the Agency plan plus $20 teammates under $1,249 per month, which holds up to 61 users.
  3. The agency’s roster posts to Google Business Profile or Bluesky.
  4. The agency loads hundreds of posts from spreadsheets.
  5. The agency requires a separate workspace for every client.
  6. The agency’s clients receive Instagram comments that warrant automatic keyword DMs.
  7. The agency’s clients connect their own accounts by invite link instead of sharing passwords.

RecurPost does not fit a team that needs social listening or competitor benchmarking, a team whose inbox must cover X, YouTube, TikTok or WhatsApp, a team whose clients require spreadsheet report exports or CRM sync, or a team that wants a single fixed price for more than 61 users.

RecurPost Agency costs $139 per month for 6 team members and 20 client accounts, which combines the $79 plan with 3 extra teammates at $20 each. The same plan includes the Kanban approval workflow and a branded report link for each client. Agencies that made this trade are documented in RecurPost case studies, organized by operation type and account count.

This comparison supplies evidence for one decision: RecurPost or Emplifi. The broader judgment on whether RecurPost fits a team as its social media management software belongs to the RecurPost social media scheduler overview.

Where Emplifi fits an enterprise brand operation

Emplifi fits a brand that runs publishing, customer care and commerce from one suite with many users. Emplifi fits the following 7 conditions:

  • The team has more than 60 users or hundreds of owned profiles.
  • The team’s care desk spans WhatsApp, X, YouTube and TikTok.
  • The team’s social data must reach Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • The team needs the Crisis Kill Switch and Spike Alerts for crisis response.
  • The team’s assets live in Bynder or Adobe Experience Manager.
  • The team’s stakeholders want quarterly scheduled reports and spreadsheet exports.
  • The team wants implementation and formal training bundled into the purchase.

Emplifi does not fit a team that publishes to Google Business Profile or Bluesky, a team that bulk-loads or reruns content, or a team whose clients approve posts without logging in. Emplifi also does not fit a team with an annual budget below $14,988, or a team that must start an evaluation before purchase.

Emplifi’s unlimited seats, 8-channel inbox and Salesforce connector suit an in-house social and care team across several regions that logs inbound messages against Salesforce records at high weekly volume. Buyers who are leaving Emplifi and weighing more than one replacement can compare them in the Emplifi alternatives guide.

RecurPost vs Emplifi: who should pick which

Each row settles one RecurPost-or-Emplifi condition, not overall product fit. The full product evaluation lives on the RecurPost publishing platform homepage.

Switching from Emplifi to RecurPost

RecurPost connects a client’s social accounts through an emailed invite link, so the first switching step does not require the client’s passwords.

Emplifi’s minimum annual term usually sets the switch date, so an agency plans the move against the renewal date rather than against readiness. RecurPost imports the last 6 months of published content from each connected profile, but no scheduler import carries over unpublished queued posts. Emplifi’s Collections holds media files rather than finished posts, so scheduled Emplifi posts are rebuilt in RecurPost rather than migrated.

The switch from Emplifi to RecurPost follows 4 steps:

  1. Record the scheduled Emplifi queue as a planning list before the renewal date.
  2. Send an invite link to reconnect each client account. RecurPost then imports the last 6 months of published posts per profile.
  3. Rebuild the scheduled queue, either by bulk-loading a CSV file or by placing posts on the RecurPost calendar.
  4. Run both tools in parallel for 1 publishing week, then let the Emplifi term lapse.

Four kinds of Emplifi work have no destination in RecurPost:

  1. Listening queries and their history
  2. Competitor benchmarks
  3. Care conversations older than Emplifi’s 90-day feed window
  4. Flow Automations

The switch fits a team whose Emplifi use covers publishing, approvals and owned-account reporting. The switch does not fit a team running care flows, listening or CRM sync, because RecurPost has no destination for that work. The account-by-account process is set out in the RecurPost migration checklist.

RecurPost vs Emplifi FAQs

1. Which costs less for a small agency, RecurPost or Emplifi?

RecurPost costs less for any team under 62 users. A five-person agency running 20 client accounts pays $119 per month on RecurPost Agency, against $1,249 per month on Emplifi Essential on a minimum annual term. Emplifi becomes the cheaper option from 62 users onward, because its seats are unlimited on every tier. Emplifi’s full tier pricing is covered in the Emplifi alternatives guide.

2. How does getting started differ between RecurPost and Emplifi?

RecurPost opens a 14-day free trial with no credit card, so a team connects accounts and schedules posts before buying. Emplifi offers no free trial: access follows a meeting, a demo and a purchase, and onboarding then runs through a kick-off meeting, implementation, a company audit and user training.

3. How do RecurPost and Emplifi price extra users?

Emplifi includes unlimited users on every tier but caps teams at 1 on Essential and 3 on Advanced. RecurPost includes 3 users on its Agency plan and charges a flat $20 per month for each extra teammate. RecurPost’s per-member cost suits teams of 3 to 10 people, and Emplifi’s fixed price suits teams of more than 60.

4. Which tool publishes Google Business Profile posts, RecurPost or Emplifi?

RecurPost publishes Google Business Profile posts, including call-to-action buttons such as Book, Order Online and Call Now. Emplifi connects Google Business Profile only to bring reviews into its inbox. RecurPost also publishes to Bluesky, which Emplifi does not.

5. Does Emplifi support bulk or recurring scheduling like RecurPost?

Emplifi has no CSV bulk upload, no posting queue and no documented recurring schedule, so each Emplifi post is created and timed individually. Emplifi’s PrimeTime suggests peak slots for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, and AI PrimeTime can place posts into those slots automatically. RecurPost imports posts in bulk from a CSV file with media attached.

6. Do clients need an Emplifi login to approve posts?

Emplifi clients must log in to approve posts through the Client (External User) role, and multi-stage approval starts on the Advanced tier. Emplifi’s unlimited seats mean the client login costs nothing extra. RecurPost’s shareable client calendars let a client view and comment on scheduled posts without a login.

7. Does RecurPost do social listening like Emplifi?

RecurPost does not offer social listening, mention monitoring or competitor benchmarking. Emplifi Listening tracks keywords, hashtags and competitors across social networks, news, forums, blogs and reviews, as an add-on on Advanced or included on Intelligent. A team with a crisis or reputation brief requires Emplifi or a comparable listening tool.

8. How do RecurPost and Emplifi roles and permissions differ?

RecurPost controls member access through 4 editable role templates and custom roles built from 10 permission groups, assigned per member per workspace, so the same person can hold different permissions on different client accounts. Emplifi matches that depth with Account Roles, Profile Roles and per-profile permissions, but Emplifi Essential allows only 1 team, so client separation on Essential depends on visibility settings.

9. Which tool has the broader social inbox?

Emplifi’s inbox covers 8 channels, including X, YouTube, TikTok and WhatsApp, and adds Flow Automations, bulk assignment and per-agent response reporting. RecurPost’s inbox covers 4 business account types: Facebook Pages, Instagram Business, LinkedIn Company Pages and Google Business Profile. RecurPost adds Instagram comment-to-DM automation, which Emplifi does not offer.

10. Is RecurPost a replacement for Emplifi?

RecurPost replaces the publishing, approval and owned-account reporting work that a team performs in the Emplifi Social Marketing Cloud. RecurPost replaces none of Emplifi’s listening, care automation or CRM connections. A team that uses Emplifi only to schedule and approve client posts can move across; a team running a care desk or listening programme loses that work, because RecurPost has no destination for it.
