RecurPost Reports & Analytics: What It Measures on Every Platform

RecurPost Reports & Analytics measures every social account you connect and reports the results across 11 network types from one dashboard. An agency with 20 client accounts sees a combined Performance Snapshot, a separate detailed report for each network, Best Time to Post heatmaps, and an AI chat that answers performance questions typed in plain language.

Native platform dashboards keep every client behind a separate login and name the same metric differently in each one, so client reporting turns into a manual assembly job at month end. RecurPost pulls those numbers into one place so the month-end question (how did my accounts perform?) takes minutes to answer. Platform APIs also cap what any tool can pull. Those caps are listed further down, with exact numbers.

The snapshot

One Performance Snapshot for every connected account

RecurPost opens its reporting with a Performance Snapshot: six metric tiles that combine every account you’ve connected. The six tiles are:

  • Posts
  • Post likes
  • Post comments
  • Post views
  • Post shares
  • Link clicks

Each tile shows the raw number for your selected period plus the percentage change against the previous period. Green means up. Red means down. Grey means no change.

RecurPost puts movement first because agencies scan for trouble before they scan for totals. An agency running 20 client accounts opens the snapshot on Monday morning and spots the two accounts that lost engagement last week before either client emails about it.

RecurPost’s account tables under the snapshot carry a search bar, so a specific client account surfaces fast.

A View report button on each row jumps straight into that account’s detailed platform report.

RecurPost’s snapshot is a roll-up, not a data warehouse. A team that models custom metrics in Tableau or Looker should keep that BI stack. RecurPost reports on connected social accounts and stops there.

Platform reports

A separate detailed report for each of the 11 network types

RecurPost builds a dedicated report for every network type it measures: Facebook Pages, Instagram business profiles, X (Twitter), LinkedIn personal profiles, LinkedIn company pages, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Meta Threads, Bluesky, and Google Business Profile. That is 11 report types across 10 platforms, because LinkedIn personal and LinkedIn company are separate reports: LinkedIn exposes different data for each.

Platform reportWhat it tracks
Facebook PageImpressions, engagement rate trend, page follows, reaction type breakdown, post type performance, page video views, Best Time to Post
Instagram business profileReach, views, accounts engaged, total interactions, net new followers, profile link clicks, Reel performance, follower and audience demographics
X (Twitter)Post and account performance for connected X profiles. X report data is billed on usage from your prepaid X URL wallet.
LinkedIn personal profileImpressions, members reached, engagement rate, amplification rate, content type performance, net connections, Best Time to Post
LinkedIn company pageImpressions, engagements, engagement rate, post clicks, follower growth, audience and video demographics
TikTokViews, engagement rate, Engagement Quality Index, viral potential, day-of-week performance, hashtag performance, video duration and aspect ratio analysis
PinterestImpressions, saves, pin clicks, outbound clicks, board performance, pin performance, Best Time to Post
YouTubeSubscribers gained and lost, views, watch time, average view percentage, traffic sources, device breakdown, audience demographics
Meta ThreadsViews, engagement rate, likes, quote posts vs original posts, content mix, Best Time to Post
BlueskyImpressions, engagement rate, likes, replies, reposts, quotes, follower growth, post language distribution
Google Business ProfileAverage rating, total reviews, search and Maps impressions, website clicks, call clicks, direction requests, review response rate, device comparison

RecurPost names metrics at the level a platform actually reports them. TikTok’s report grades an Engagement Quality Index and a viral potential score. Google Business Profile’s report tracks review response rate next to call clicks and direction requests, which matters when the client is a local dentist rather than an online store.

A 15-client agency spread across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile pulls each client’s platform report plus the combined view from one dashboard, instead of opening each platform’s native dashboard in turn.

RecurPost measures the accounts you connect. It does not do social listening and it does not benchmark competitor accounts. An agency selling competitive intelligence needs a separate tool for that piece.

Best time to post

Best Time to Post heatmaps built from your audience’s behavior

RecurPost plots the best time to post as a heatmap: days of the week on the Y axis, hours of the day on the X axis, engagement intensity in the cells. The heatmap sits inside the Facebook, LinkedIn personal, Pinterest, and Meta Threads reports. Facebook adds a Publishing Behavior view that compares when you post against when your audience engages.

A freelancer managing a bakery’s Pinterest reads the heatmap, sees weekend mornings running hot, and moves the pin schedule there. No guesswork and no generic best-time listicle.

RecurPost renders the rest of each report in donut charts (engagement composition), area charts (engagement over time), line graphs with an average reference line, and bar charts (format comparisons). A brand-new account gives the heatmap little to work with. Expect a useful pattern only after the account has real posting history.

Reports AI

Chat with Reports AI answers performance questions in plain language

Chat with Reports AI takes a typed question about your accounts and returns an answer built from your report data. Ask which client’s Instagram grew fastest this month, or why engagement dipped in week three. The chat returns performance breakdowns and smart recommendations, not canned dashboard links.

An account manager preparing a monthly client call asks the chat for the month’s Instagram summary and pastes a three-bullet executive summary into the deck. That job took an evening of manual export work before. It takes about five minutes now.

RecurPost runs one AI layer across the product: image generation in the composer, drafted replies in the social inbox, and this report chat. Chat with Reports AI is included on the Agency and Enterprise plans; the pricing page lists which plans include it.

The chat answers from your connected account data. It is not a general research chatbot, so it won’t quote industry benchmarks it can’t see.

How date ranges, comparisons, and filters scope each report

Every RecurPost report compares your selected date range against the previous equal period and marks each metric’s percentage change. Instagram reports accept a custom date range longer than 30 days. A six-week product launch fits in one view, so launch performance reads against baseline without stitching exports together.

RecurPost’s report tables filter by connected account through dropdowns. The Top Posts section, for example, narrows to one client’s account in two clicks. A search bar above each account table finds a specific profile by name.

RecurPost’s date ranges still end where each platform’s API ends. The caps below are worth reading before you promise a client historical data.

Data limits

Platform data limits worth planning client reporting around

RecurPost pulls what each platform’s API allows, and some platforms cap that hard.

YouTube: 15 days of data

YouTube allows access to the past 15 days of data only. Report downloads and post history details are restricted for YouTube too.

Overview likes: 7 days

Overview reports stop retrieving likes and count data 7 days after a post is shared.

Instagram demographics

Instagram withholds demographic data until an account passes a follower minimum that Instagram sets.

Threads & Bluesky demographics

Threads and Bluesky withhold demographics below 100 followers.

These caps are set by the platform APIs themselves, so they apply to any tool reading the same endpoints. RecurPost lists them here so you can plan client reporting around them.

An agency onboarding a client’s YouTube channel states up front that history beyond 15 days won’t backfill, then reports on a rolling recent window. That one sentence in the kickoff call prevents an awkward month-three conversation.

White label

Sharing a report with a client

On the plans that include white labeling, the Share button at the top of any report page generates a shareable white-labeled link. Your client sees the numbers under your brand and never logs into RecurPost. The full white-label reporting capability (your logo, your brand colors, recurring PDF delivery) is covered on RecurPost white-label reports.

RecurPost also ships Custom Reports, a drag-and-drop builder that assembles metric tiles from the same 11 network types into a client-ready PDF carrying your logo. RecurPost includes Custom Reports on the Agency plan, and every other plan gets a one-time 14-day trial of it. RecurPost Measure covers how these reporting capabilities fit together.

Frequently Asked Questions

RecurPost Reports & Analytics FAQs

Can I see all my client accounts in one report?

RecurPost combines every connected account into one Performance Snapshot. Six tiles (Posts, Post Likes, Post Comments, Post Views, Post Shares, and Link Clicks) show combined totals with a percentage change against the previous period. Each account also keeps its own detailed platform report.

RecurPost provides detailed reports for 11 network types: Facebook Pages, Instagram business profiles, X (Twitter), LinkedIn personal profiles, LinkedIn company pages, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Meta Threads, Bluesky, and Google Business Profile. That is 11 reports across 10 platforms, because LinkedIn personal and company pages get separate reports. X report data is billed on usage from your prepaid X URL wallet.

RecurPost shows a Best Time to Post heatmap inside the Facebook, LinkedIn personal, Pinterest, and Meta Threads reports. The heatmap maps days of the week against hours of the day, so posting slots come from your audience’s measured behavior.

YouTube restricts API access to the past 15 days of data. RecurPost displays what YouTube allows, so YouTube history beyond that window does not backfill. Plan YouTube client reporting on a rolling recent window.

Chat with Reports AI is included on the Agency and Enterprise plans. It is not included on Starter or Personal. Custom Reports is also an Agency feature, with a one-time 14-day trial on the other plans. Check the pricing page before promising either to a client.

RecurPost compares any selected date range against the previous equal period on every report. Instagram reports also accept custom ranges longer than 30 days, which fits campaign and seasonal reporting in a single view.
