📢 WHAT’S NEW IN RECURPOST – MAY 2026
Your social media workflow just got a serious upgrade
May was all about making automation smarter, workflows smoother, and account management less chaotic. Whether you’re juggling dozens or more of social profiles, building AI automations, or trying to turn comments into followers, this month’s releases were designed to save time while helping you grow faster.
Here’s everything new inside RecurPost this month – and more importantly, what you actually get out of it.
RecurPost Meets n8n: Build AI Automations Without the Enterprise Price Tag

We officially launched the RecurPost node for n8n. Learn more.
That means you can now plug RecurPost directly into your n8n workflows and create powerful automations across your entire marketing stack.
Think:
- Automatically generate AI captions and send them to RecurPost
- Publish social posts when a CRM stage changes
- Connect blog publishing workflows directly to social distribution
- Trigger content pipelines from Slack, Airtable, Notion, OpenAI, and more
Why this matters:
Automation shouldn’t require expensive enterprise software or developer-heavy setups.
With the new RecurPost node, users can:
- Build low-cost AI workflows
- Automate repetitive publishing tasks
- Connect RecurPost with hundreds of tools
- Reduce manual posting work dramatically
For marketers and agencies, this opens the door to scalable social media systems powered by AI and no/low code automation.

DM Automation Just Got Smarter (and Better for Growth)
Our DM Automation system received one of its biggest upgrades yet.
The goal? Turn engagement into actual audience growth instead of just vanity metrics.
“DM Only If Follow” – New Growth-Focused Condition

This is the headline feature.
You can now choose to send DMs only to users who follow you.
Here’s how it works:
If someone comments:
- Followers receive the DM instantly
- Non-followers are guided toward following first
Once they follow you, the complete DM is automatically delivered.
Why this matters
Instead of giving away lead magnets, links, or resources to everyone immediately, you can now use engagement to:
- Grow followes organically
- Filter low-intent users
- Build a more qualified audience
- Increase follower conversion from viral posts
In short: your comment section can now become a follower growth engine.
New Non-Follower Journey

Uploading videos shouldn’t freeze your entire workflow.
When a non-follower comments:
- The comment is detected
- They receive an opening DM with a follow prompt
- RecurPost continuously checks follow status
- Once they follow, the full automated DM is delivered
This creates a smoother experience for both creators and audiences while helping accounts grow intentionally – not randomly.
Video Uploading Is Finally Less Annoying

Uploading videos shouldn’t freeze your entire workflow.
So we fixed that.
What’s improved
You can now:
- Edit captions and content while the video uploads
- Switch tabs during uploads without interrupting the process
Why you will love this
Previously, uploads forced users to “wait before working.”
Now you can multitask naturally:
- Continue editing content
- Navigate across your browser freely
- Save time during large uploads
Small change. Huge quality-of-life improvement.
Flexible Post Limits = No More Wasted Slots
We redesigned how post limits work to make them far more flexible.
Previously, post limits were separated into categories like:
- One-off posts
- Scheduled posts
That system often left users with unused slots they couldn’t fully utilize.
What changed
Now, users get a combined post allocation.
Example:
Instead of:
- 5 one-off posts
- 5 scheduled posts
You now simply get:
- 10 total posts usable however you want
Why this matters
This gives users:
- More flexibility
- Better control over posting behavior
- Less wasted capacity
- Simpler usage tracking
Whether you prefer scheduling everything or posting spontaneously, your limits now adapt to how you work.
Redesigned Social Profiles Listing
Managing multiple social profiles can get messy fast – especially for agencies and power users.
So we completely refreshed the Social Profiles experience.
What’s new
Smarter filters

Quickly sort profies by:
- Connected
- Expired
- Paused
Platform filters

View accounts by network instantly:
- X
- And more
Social Groups
You can now organize profiles into groups for:
- Faster selection
- Better organization
- Cleaner workflows
Cleaner interface
The redesigned layout improves:
- Visibility
- Navigation
- Bulk management
- Speed of execution
Why this matters
If you manage dozens or even hundreds of social profiles, this update dramatically reduces clutter and speeds up account management.
Less hunting. More publishing.
The Big Picture
This month’s releases all focused on one thing:
Helping users move faster without adding complexity.
From AI-powered automations with n8n to follower-focused DM workflows and smoother publishing experiences, RecurPost is evolving into a more connected, automation-first social media platform.
